Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effects of structural family therapy on health behavior and self-efficacy of discharged patients with coronary heart disease ( CHD) . Methods The cluster sampling method was used to select 120 patients with CHD who were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 60 cases in each group. The patients of control group utilized conventional methods of community education, the patients of observation group were taken structural family therapy based on the interventions of control group and we used the health behavior scale ( HPLP) and exercise of self-care agency ( ESCA) system to compare patients the differences of health behavior and self-efficacy between two groups systematically. Results After 6 months interventions, total scores of health behavior and self-efficacy in the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P <0. 01). Conclusions Structural family therapy as a continuity nursing scheme can significantly improve the health of patients with coronary heart disease behavior of discharge and self-efficacy.
