Abstract:
Many studies and meta-analyses have shown a correlation between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and stroke. OSA is an independent risk factor for stroke. The gold standard for treating OSA is continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP). This article reviews the correlation between OSA and stroke risk, as well as the research progress of the effect of CPAP on the risk of stroke in patients with OSA.
