- Abstract: Objective To explore effect of heart pacemaker on treatment ot patients with chronic arrhythmia and its influence on cardiac function.Methods Totally 62 patients with chronic arrhythmia were divided into control group and experimental group according to type of heart pacemaker,31 cases in each group.The control group was given single-chamber pacemaker,while the observation group was given dual-chamber pacemaker.The changes of heart rate (HR),cardiac output (CO),left ventricular ejection fractions (LVEF),cardiac index (CI) were detecting before and after treatment by color Doppler ultrasound,and adverse reactions were observed.Results Six months after heart pacemaker implantation,the cardiac function level,effective rate and scores of clinical syndromes in the experimental group were significantly better than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The heart pacemaker can significantly improve cardiac function of patients with chronic arrhythmia,which plays an active role in preventing and terminating chronic arrhythmias.
