Abstract:
The "hole" ulcer is the first-line calamity of leprosy patients. The conventional treatment for "hole" ulcers included: wetting the skin by some oils, applying antibiotic pomade, casting and wearing specific-designed shoes. The patients treated by He-Ne laser were divided according to the hole size. The external radiated He-Ne laser is a safe and easy-to-used method, provides good results (116/119 patients). The combination between laser irradiation and conventional methods produce higher results
