Abstract:
After surgery, scars will inevitably be left at the surgical site. It is very important to understand the influencing factors and mechanism of scars formation to improve postoperative appearance. Mechanical tension is one of the important factors affecting scar formation. In this paper, the effects and signaling mechanisms of mechanical tension on scar formation, such as integrin-cytoskeleton signal pathway, transforming growth factor-β signal pathway, Hippo signal pathway, Rho-related pathway, mechanically sensitive ion channel pathway and so on, were summarized to provide reference for further research.
