Abstract:
The patient was a young female who developed dizziness, weakness, blurred vision and other symptoms 7 days after injection of botulinum toxin type A. She was diagnosed with iatrogenic botulism. The symptoms disappeared and the patient was discharged after 8 days of antitoxin treatment. As the application of antitoxin for the treatment of iatrogenic botulism was rarely reported, here we described one case. Combined with literature review, we hope to provide supplementary data for the clinical application of antitoxin.
