Abstract:
This paper summarizes the latest research on hemangioma and vascular malformation from 2020 to 2021. The main advances include new concepts and understanding of diseases: benign neonatal hemangiomatosis, tardive expansion congenital hemangioma, and PIK3CA-related overgrowth spectrum; comparison of therapeutic effects of drugs, including traditional oral, topical medication and targeted therapy which has attracted much attention in recent years; therapeutic effects of physical therapy including photodynamic and "bleomycin-polidocanol foam" therapy. With the deepening of research in the field of hemangioma and vascular malformation, there are more problems and challenges. It is more necessary to grasp the main research direction and carry out more beneficial exploration.
