Abstract:
Flap grafting is the main technical means of treating soft tissues and organ defects on the surface of the body, but the goal of traditional flap grafting is mostly limited to the wound healing and survival of the flap, and few considerations are given to the restoration of the function and appearance of the recipient sites and how to reduce the damage of the donor sites. The emergence of new technologies and new concepts of the perforator flaps, especially the derivation and development of the special forms of the perforator flap series, makes the micro-reconstruction into a new stage, the importance of the flap design is more and more concerned by the micro-reconstructive surgeons. In order to apply the perforator flap more efficiently, surgeons are expected not only to pay attention to the basic design of "points, lines and plane" , but also to pay attention to the optimal design of its plane, level and chimeric tissue content. It aims to achieve the new goal of perfectly unified micro-reconstruction of "high-quality survival of the grafted flap, good appearance and functional recovery of the recipient sites and minimization of damage to the donor sites" .
