Abstract:
The live attenuated rotavirus vaccine has been recommended by the World Health Organization for inclusion in national immunization plans since 2009. Several countries around the world have included RotaTeq and Rotarix vaccines in their national immunization plans. However, after large-scale vaccination, changes in the dominant genotype of rotavirus have been found in multiple countries, but different trends have emerged in different regions. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether rotavirus vaccine has an impact on genotype change.
