Abstract:
With economic development, dietary structure adjustment and lifestyle changes in recent years, the incidence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is increasing year by year. This will not only directly lead to decompensated cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma and other diseases, but also causes abnormal lipid metabolism to involve in the occurrence of diabetes mellitus, hypertension, arteriosclerotic cardio-cerebral nephropathy and other diseases, which has a serious impact on the patients’ health and quality of life. The incidence of NAFLD is as high as 90% in those with obesity and hyperlipidemia, which indicates that abnormal lipid metabolism plays an important role in the occurrence and development of NAFLD. NAFLD combined with abnormal lipid metabolism has become one of the common liver diseases endangering human health. At present, there are abundant clinical measures to prevent and treat NAFLD, including diet management, exercise training, lifestyle changes and TCM therapy. In order to reflect the progress of prevention strategies for NAFLD combined with abnormal lipid metabolism, improve abnormal lipid metabolism and control the development of NAFLD, this article summarizes the pathogenesis, risk factors and prevention strategies of NAFLD combined with abnormal lipid metabolism.
