Abstract:
Cases of blood replacement are increasing since 1998, especially for 10 months in 2000. Among newborns who underwent blood replacement, boys accounted for more proportion than girls did. Rate of blood replacement in couple of O-group mother and A or B-group child is highest. Rate of ABO groups of mothers who have blood-replaced children and in blood-replaced newborns is different over general population. Among mothers who have blood-replaced children, 60% are in group O Among blood-replaced newborns, more than 60% are in group A or B.
