Abstract: Frailty is a key intermediate state of aging, which is closely related to the adverse outcomes such as falls, disability, and death in the elderly, and seriously impairs their quality of life. It is proposed in recent years that oral frailty is also a type of frailty and can be used as a predictor and component of general frailty. This article summarizes the definition, epidemiology, assessment tools, possible mechanisms and intervention measures of oral frailty, to provide reference for further research in the field of oral frailty.
