Abstract: This article aims to introduce the connotation, characteristics, implementation elements, and contents of the outcome-based education (OBE) concept, summarize its application status and effect in clinical practice teaching, and analyze the challenges and suggestions in the application process, in order to provide the basis and enlightenment for better application of the OBE concept in medical clinical practice teaching.
