Abstract:
The necessity of transforming a CDC purification laboratory into an enhanced biosafety level 2(BSL-2)laboratory with polymerase chain reaction(PCR)detection function was introduced.The modification of the enhanced BSL-2 laboratory was described in terms of layout of ventilation system,air distribution,indoor pressure and gradient control.The enhanced BSL-2 laboratory after modification met the requirements for PCR detection,and references were provided for the transfor-mation of the same type of laboratories.[Chinese Medical Equipment Journal,2023,44(9):78-82]
