Bohn’s nodule is a soft white cyst filled with keratin and is often found in a newborn's oral cavity. This case has a high prevalence in newborns and is rarely seen in infants after three months. In this case, we report our observation and evaluation of a Bohn’s nodule case in a seven-month-old male infant. Clinical diagnosis of the conditions is vital to avoid unnecessary therapeutic procedures and provide timely information for parents to manage the lesion.

1. The etiologic organism in 57 of 85 patients with suppurative meningitis was identified by spinal fluid cultures; other bacteriologic examinations identified the etiology of 8 others2. The microscopic examinations of the spinal fluid smear stained with Grams method is a useful procedure3. The pneumococcus accounted for 26% of the etiologically diagnosed cases while various gram negative bacilli accounted for 33% of the cases. The pneumococcus was the most common pathogen in this series, while Salmonella was the single most common gram negative bacillus encountered4. The incidence of meningitis due to gram negative bacilli (exclusive of Hemophilus influenza) is significantly more frequent in infants less than 6 months of age than in older patients5. Most of the pathogens causing meningitis in other countries were encountered in this series of patients, including unusual pathogens as Herella vaginicola and Flavobacterium meningosepticum. The current medical literature was consulted for the description of the clinical feature, the so-called allergic intestinal bleeding syndrome, occurring in infants. There is paucity of reports on it. It is merely mentioned in pediatrics textbooks. This is probably the first case report of this syndrome in infants found in the local medical literatureA case is presented which, I think fits the clinical picture of this condition, and in which the patient developed hypersentiveness to goats milk. These was no determination of hypersensitiveness to cows milk, however, because cows milk was difficult to procure in the circumstances then prevailing. Abdominal "cramps" or discomfort and intestinal hemorrhage completely disappeared 56 hours after discontinuance of the goats milk feeding and subsequent shift to human breast milkIn recognizing this syndrome, a careful differential diagnosis is needed to exclude intestinal bleeding due to more serious causes, in order not to subject the infant to un-called for operation and at the same time not to deprive the child of the benefit of surgery, if it happens to be a case of Meckels diverticulitis or intussusception. Lastly, this condition should always be considered whenever cases of intestinal bleeding in infants who are artificially fed with either cows or goats milk are met with in practice, especially if a definite family history of allergy could be established. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the risk of adverse events in the clinical use of infant incubators of three kinds of national medical devices in Zhejiang Province. METHODS: Semi-quantitative matrix analysis was used to analyze the risk of adverse events related to incubator products in Zhejiang province from August 2018 to August 2019. RESULTS: Through the risk analysis of 213 cases of adverse events of infant incubator product, the risk point and degree of the product in practical clinical application were evaluated. CONCLUSIONS Through the evaluation results of the production enterprises, medical institutions put forward relevant recommendations to reduce the risk of product use to prevent the recurrence of serious adverse events in the use of the product and spread.
