6.Clear Cell Hidradenoma: Report of three cases.

Clear cell hidradenoma, generally as an eccrine sweat gland origin, is a fairly uncommon tumor and occurs as a slowly growing, usually solitary nodule. The histological patterns vary from one tumor to another and in different parts of the same tumor. We experienced three cases of clear cell hidradenoma which were diagnosed by the histopathologic examination of the tumor mass removed by surgical excision. Clinical and histopathologic features of each case were reviewed and compared.

The role of ultrasound (US) is limited in the pathologic diagnosis of soft tissue tumors. It is possible to predict the pathologic results of some common soft tissue tumors with typical US features. We report the US and pathologic findings of three angiolipomas, one nodular hidradenoma, and one benign myofibroblastic tumor, which are uncommon soft tissue tumors with characteristic US findings.

10.A Case of Clear Cell Hidradenoma Developing on the Scrotum.

A 70-year-old man presented with an asymptomatic 1.5 x 2.5 cm sized lobulated mass with central ulcer on the scrotum. Histologically, it showed a well-circumscribed tumor composed of solid portions with fusiform basophilic cells and clear round cells, cystic spaces and tubular lumina, which were consistent with clear cell hidradenoma. Our case is unique in that the tumor developed on the scrotum, an unusual site.
