Hypoxiaisoneofthemostimportantfactorsinfluencingcancertherapyandclinicalprogno-sis.With positron emission tomography (PET)widely adopted in clinical practice, the development and appli-cation of PET hypoxia imaging agents has been much popular in the field currently.PET hypoxia imaging can detect tumor hypoxia region noninvasively, which has important significance for optimizing cancer treatment decisions and improving the prognosis of cancer.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore the levels of serum leptin and insulin and their relationships with growth and development in premature infants. Methods The serum leptin and insulin concentrations of 37 premature infants were examined by the radioimmunoassay(day 1 and day 10,respectively),and anthropometric measurements were performed at birth. The blood sugar and triglyeride, cholesterol were tested at the same time.Twenty full-term newborn without severe diseases were controlled in 24 h after delivery and the level of leptin and insulin of them were detected, too. The results were analyzed by SPSS 10.0 software. Results The leptin and insulin levels in preterm infants were significantly lower than those in full-term infants[(6.45?2.24)?g/L vs(8.56?1.33)?g/L,(5.84?1.07)IU/L vs(10.85?5.24)IU/L Pa0.05).Serum leptin was positive correlation with serum insulin(Pa0.05).Conclusions Serum leptin and insulin can be the markers that reflect intrauterine nutrition status of preterm infants and the growth and development of fetus.A dipoinsular axis may be functional before 34 weeks gestation without maturity. The changes of leptin and insulin concentrations are useful for metabolism and growth in preterm infants.

OBJECTIVETo improve the diagnosis and treatment of penile metastasis from rectal carcinoma.
METHODSWe reported a case of penile metastasis secondary to rectal adenocarcinoma, reviewed the relevant literature, and discussed the common origins, clinical features, pathogenic mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
RESULTSThe patient was a 54-year-old male, with metastatic penile tumors secondary to rectal adenocarcinoma, with serious adhesion to the surrounding tissue and metastasis to the liver. As treatment, we performed colostomy to relieve voiding difficulty, followed by combination chemotherapy with oxaliplatin, 5-fluorouracil, and levofolinate. The patient died 10 months later as a result of systemic failure.
CONCLUSIONPenile metastatic malignancy has a poor prognosis. Early diagnosis and combined and individualized therapies may improve the quality of life, relieve pain and prolong the life of the patient.

OBJECTIVETo study the content of mineral elements and the principal components in Gastrodia elata.
METHODMineral elements were determined by ICP and the data was analyzed by SPSS.
RESULTK element has the highest content-and the average content was 15.31 g x kg(-1). The average content of N element was 8.99 g x kg(-1), followed by K element. The coefficient of variation of K and N was small, but the Mn was the biggest with 51.39%. The highly significant positive correlation was found among N, P and K . Three principal components were selected by principal components analysis to evaluate the quality of G. elata. P, B, N, K, Cu, Mn, Fe and Mg were the characteristic elements of G. elata.
CONCLUSIONThe content of K and N elements was higher and relatively stable. The variation of Mn content was biggest. The quality of G. elata in Guizhou and Yunnan was better from the perspective of mineral elements.

Objective To study the effect of intensive trunk muscle training on balance and walking in pa- tients with hemiplegia caused by stroke. Methods A total of 90 stroke patients were recruited and randomly divid- ed into a treatment group(45 cases)and a control group(45 cases). All the patients were given conventional reha- bilitation training.Meanwhile, intensive trunk muscle training was also administered for those in the treatment group as well. The trunk control function, balance ability and walking ability were assessed by using the trunk control test, Berg Balance Scale and the balance subscale of the Fugl-Meyer physical performance test, and Holden's functional ambulation classification, respectively, before and after 6 weeks of training. Results It was found that all the pa- tients scored better with the trunk control test,Berg's balance scale, the balance subscale of the Fugl-Meyer physical performance test and Holden's ambulation classification after treatment, and there were significant differences between the two groups after treatment(P

Objective To investigate the effect of arsenic exposure on learning and memory ability of rats. Methods Fourty- eight weaned SD rats were randomly divided into four groups,12 in each. The control group drank tap water, the other three groups treated with sodium arsenite at doses of 2.72 mg/L,13.6 mg/L and 68 mg/L for 12 weeks.Morris water maze was used to test the spatial learning and memory ability of rats.Arsenic level in the blood and brain was assessed after Morris water maze test. Results Arsenic contents in the blood of arsenic exposed rats were significantly higher than that in control rats(P

Objective To discuss the frequent etiology of spontaneous sub-cortical hemorrhage and its diag- nosis. Methods The clinical materials of 79 cases of spontaneous sub-cortical hemorrhage were analyzed. Results 56% of the hemorrhage was caused by arterial-venous malformation.48% of the hemorrhage was caused by occult AVM.Conclusion AVM is the most frequent etiology of spontaneous sub-cortical hemorrhage.CTA plays a special role in its diagnosis.

Objective To study the safety and efficacy of transhepatic arterial infusion embolization using microspheres combined with lipiodol for treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods Transhepatic arterial chemoembolization(TACE)was performed with 1-2 ml 300-500?m mierospheres and 10-20 ml lipiodol for treatment of HCC.Changes of liver function,AFP,responses of tumor and complications related to embolization were analyzed before and after TACE.Results Thirty six patients with HCC were enrolled into this study. After TACE,patients' liver function got worsen and tumor size decreased significantly(P<0.05).Conclusion TACE with use of microspheres combined with lipiodol is an effective treatment for HCC,but should be taken carefully to avoid hepatic failure.

Journal of International Oncology 2015;42(2):122-125
Many tumors depend on glutamine for energy.Glutamine metabolism is recognized as a distinctive feature in addition to Warburg effect in tumors.Nuclear medicine molecular tracer techniques represented by positron emission tomography (PET) provide a good means for early diagnosis and prognosis of tumors.PET imaging can detect glutamine metabolism region in tumors noninvasively, which can provide new diagnosis and therapeutics for glutamine-addicted tumors.
