Objective To evaluate the efficacy of naloxone used in the postoperation of cerebral tumor. Methods Eighty patients were randomly assigned to receive (treated group:40 patients) or not re- ceive (control group:40 patients) naloxone. Both the two groups accepted the conventional therapy.Re- sults After operation, the content of?-EP,ET decreased continuously but the one of the treated groups was more obviously than that of the control groups (P

Objective To explore the therapeutic effect and application value of retroperitoneal laparoscopic combined with resectoscopic radical nephroureterectomy for upper tract urothelial carcinoma Methods From Jan.2006 to Jul.2009,fifteen upper tract urothelial carcinoma patients underwent excision of bladder cuff with resectoscope at first, and then retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephroureterectomy. All tumors were confirmed to be localized, stage T1-T3.Clinical outcomes of the patients were retrospectively analyzed. Results Mean operative time was 150 (range:120-180) minutes and blood loss volume was 200 (range:100-400)ml.The function of intestinal canal recovered after 24-48 hours, the drainage tube could be removed after 3-4 days.Catheter was kept for 7-10 days.During the follow up for 1-40 months, all the 15 patients survived with one retroperitoneal lymphatic metastasis. There were no severe complications in perioperative and postoperative period. Conclusions Retroperitoneal laparoscopic combined with resectoscopic radical nephroureterectomy may be a practical surgical procedure for upper tract urothelial carcinoma patients with less intraoperative blood loss and early recovery.

Objective To investigate the medical assistance to inpatients from low-income families for solving their difficulties in seeing doctors and affordability. Methods Random sampling was made to five ongoing medical assistance projects in the hospital for statistics and analysis of the data so collected. Results Medical expenses of such inpatients are beyond their affordability.Despite the coverage of their basic medical insurance, the reimbursement rate is too low to alleviate their financial burden. Conclusion A“4-party payment”model is recommended, combining the government support for basic medical insurance, social welfare assistance, philanthropic assistance and that paid by the inpatients. This model is expected to effectively alleviate the financial burden of such inpatients.

Because of the changed metabolic behaviors of cancer cells, tumor cells uptake a corresponding larger amount of glucose in physiological condition when compared with normal cells. And they were prone to metabolize glucose for generating energy in anaerobic glycolysis ways in order to grow quickly. Anaerobic glycolysis consumes more glucose than aerobic way when the same amount of energy is obtained, which also results in large demand of glucose in tumor cells. This review briefly describes therapy methods related to characteristic mentioned above, and summarizes the research progress of drugs, diagnostic reagents and carriers conjugated with glucose, glucose derivatives or other kinds of sugars for cancer targeting. Furthermore, typically relative research reports from 2012 till now were listed and analyzed.

Chinese Journal of Pharmacology and Toxicology 2018;32(4):271-272
Heart failure has become a global public health problem that seriously threatens human health. Due to "multi-target" effect, traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in the treat-ment of heart failure. Astragaloside Ⅳ is one of the main active ingredients of astragalus membrana-ceus.It has the functions of protecting the heart and neovascularization,anti-inflammation,anti-oxida-tion, regulating energy metabolism, neuroprotection and anti-cancer effects. This article reviews the recent progresses of astragaloside Ⅳ in the treatment of heart failure.Data show that astragaloside Ⅳcan inhibit heart fibrosis, attenuate excessively activation of renin-angiotensin system, increase energy metabolism, promote positive inotropic action, inhibit myocardial cell apoptosis, etc, which are all involved in the protective role of astragaloside Ⅳ in rodents or cellular models of heart failure.Astragalo-side Ⅳ may be a potential active ingredient in traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of heart failure.

Objective To investigate the curative effect of modified tracheal catheter in acute respiratory failure caused by central airway stenosis. Methods 16 cases inpatient with acute respiratory failure caused by central airway stenosis were involved.Found out the position and range of stenosis of central airway by X-ray and CT of chest and fiberbronchoscope, chose the suitable silicon suction tube and cut it to make a tracheal catheter, then guided the catheter through the stenosis by fiberbronchoscope to construct artificial airway. Results The dyspnea of all 16 cases of acute respiratory failure caused by central airway stenosis could by relieved in short time, the PaO_2 raised from(39?12)mm Hg to(72?10)mm Hg,SaO_2 raised from(75?13)% to(93?3)%,PaCO_2 dropped from(102?21)mm Hg to(62?13)mm Hg after therapy. The effective rate is 100%.There was no other serious complication except for 2 cases of little amount of bleeding in trachea.15 cases survived and one died of serious muhisystem organ failure. Conclusions The use of modified tracheal catheter in treatment of acute respiratory failure caused by central airway stenosis can relieve the acute dyspnea in short time,it also can dilate central airway, save the cost of tracheal balloon dilatation for the follow-up therapy.

AlM:To explore the effective method for the treatment of complicated ocular trauma accompanied with cyclodialysis.METHODS: Sixty - eight cases of complexity ocular trauma with cyclodialysis in different degrees were undergone vitrectomy and ( or ) combined with ciliary body reduction.RESULTS:All patients were followed up for 10 ~36mo (mean 17. 0±5. 7mo). The postoperative visual acuity was better than that of preoperation (P<0. 05). Compared with preoperative, intraocular pressure was significantly increased ( P < 0. 05 ). Successful rate of ciliary body restoration was 91%. CONCLUSlON: For the complicated ocular trauma accompaniedwith cyclodialysis, vitrectomy and ( or ) ciliary body reduction is an effective treatment method.

The new intein-mediated PHB purify protein system is a high expression, automatic cutting, for purification, low-cost protein purification system,it is conducive to large-scale protein purification.Choose human antibacterial peptide LL-37 as the purification objects, which is poison to prokaryotic cell.We construct intein-mediated PHB purified human antimicrobial peptide LL-37 system through genetic engineering technology and use this system to purify LL-37. The results show that this system can highly express LL-37 fusion protein and purifiy the product as same size with expectations.
