1.The apoptosis of neuron and expression of ERK in cortex induced by endotoxemia in young rats

Objective To investigate the effect of ERK in apoptosis of neuron induced by endotoxemia,provide the theory basis for the early intervention. Methods Wistar rats aged 10 day were randomly divided into two groups:LPS group and NS group. Neuron apoptosis at 6、12、72 h after abdomen injection were detected by TUNEL method, the expressions of ERK were measured by immunohistochemial method.Results ( 1 ) apoptosis cell appeared at 6 hour in LPS group, but the apoptosis index showed no difference from NS group( P > 0. 05 ). The apoptosis cell obvious increased at 12 hour, peaked at 72 hour( P < 0. 05 ,P <0. 01 ). (2) As compared with NS group, the expression of ERK increased at 6 h ( P < 0. 01 ), obviously decreased at 12 h(P <0. 01 ) ,and reversed to the level of NS group at 72 h(P >0. 05). Conclusion LPS can induce the neuron apoptosis in young rats, the ERK is activated and could play role in apoptosis.
2.Effects of Yiqihuoxuejiedu Formula on the Activity of G-6-Pase and Mg~(2+)-ATPase of Mice with Lewis Lung Cancer

Objective To observe the effect of Yiqihuoxuejiedu formula on the activity of G-6-Pase and Mg2+-ATPase of Lewis cells of mice with Lewis lung cancer. Method Enzyme cytochemistry was used to detect the activity of G-6-Pase and Mg2+-ATPase of the mice lung cancer of Lewis cells. Result The response granules of G-6-Pase and Mg2+-ATPase in the mice lung cancer of Lewis cells became smaller after the treatment of the Yiqihuoxuejiedu formula, the amount of the granules became fewer, the density was lower, which indicated the activity of enzyme reduced evidently. Conclusion Yiqihuoxuejiedu formula can decrease the activity of the G-6-Pase and Mg2+-ATPase.
3.Utilization of Anticoagulant Drugs in Our Hospital During 2004~2007

OBJECTIVE:To probe into the status quo and tendency of the utilization of anticoagulant drugs in our hospital. METHODS:The utilization of anticoagulant drugs in our hospital from 2004 to 2007 were analyzed statistically with regard to drug varieties,consumption quantity and consumption sum as well as DDDs. RESULTS:The consumption sum of anticoagulant drugs in our hospital increased year by year. Of all the anticoagulant drugs,leading the list in terms of consumption sum were ozagrel,low molecular heparin calcium and clopidogrel. CONCLUSION:The utilization of anticoagulant drugs in our hospital is basically in line with the current medication principle of anticoagulant drugs and the general medication trend both at home and abroad.
4.Determination of racecadotril and its impurities by HPLC

OBJECTIVE A HPLC method was established for the determination of racecadotril and its impurities.METHODS A ODS column was used and the mixture of acetonitrile-potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KH2PO4) solution (70∶30) was used as the mobile phase.The detection wavelength was 210 nm.RESULTS The liner range of the racecadotril was 0.08~0.24 mg*mL-1 and the regression equation was Y=15847X+3873(r=0.9997).The liner range of benzylthiorphan disulphide was 2.40~21.56 μg*mL-1 and the regression equation was Y=1826x+46 (r=0.9999).The measurable lowest limit was 1 μg*mL-1.The average recovery was 100.0%.CONCLUSION The method was convenient,accurate and specific.

8.Development of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for pancreatic cancer

Pancreatic cancer is a highly malignant tumor,the incidence is increasing year by year globally.Due to concealed pathogenesis of which and rapid progress,only 25% of the patients could receive operation.Adjuvant therapy has become the important methods of improving the prognosis of patients with pancreatic cancer,including chemotherapy and radiotherapy.In recent years,some prospective clinical trials have promoted the development of the adjuvant therapy.New controversy and consensus appear in the treatment of pancreatic cancer.This article reviewed the progress of chemotherapy and radiotherapy for pancreatic cancer based on adjuvant therapy and neo-adjuvant therapy for unresectable metastatic pancreatic cancer and locally advanced pancreatic cancer.
9.Clinical and pathological features of periodic paralysis

Objective To study the clinical and pathological features of periodic paralysis.Methods The clinical and pathological data of 9 patients with periodic paralysis were analyzed.Results The clinical manifestation of 9 patients were consistent with the general manifestation of periodic paralysis.The typical tubular aggregates in many fibers were observed in 4 cases of 7 patients with skeletal muscle biopsy.A few degenerating fibers were observed,while necrotic fibers and regenerating fibers were not found.Electromicroscope showed Honeycomb appearance in tubular aggregates of cross section,which was filled with glycogen granule.Conclusions According to the clinical manifestation and the laboratory examination,periodic paralysis can be clinical diagnosis.The tubular aggregates in many fibers are important pathological characteristic of periodic paralysis.In electromicroscope analysis,tubular aggregates may be compose of transverse tubular system or sarcoplasmic reticulum expansion.
10.Expression of fractalkine in acute lung injury induced by paraquat in rats

Objective To observe the expression of fractalkine (FKN or CX3CL1) in serum and lung tissue in early phases after paraquat (PQ) poisoning in rats,and to analyze the effect of FKN on acute lung injury induced by PQ.Methods A total of 66 SD rats were randomly (random number) divided into two groups,namely PQ group (n =36) and control group (n =30).Through intra-peritoneal route,PQ (22 mg/kg) was administered to PQ group,and an equal volume of normal saline to control group instead.Rats were separately sacrificed at 6 h,12 h,24 h,72 h and 120 h after poisoning.Lung coefficient was determined.The levels of FKN in serum and lung tissue homogenate were detected by ELISA.Lung pathological changes were observed by HE staining.FKN changes were investigated by immunohistochemistry staining.Data was analyzed by SPSS 19.0.Results From 6 h to 120 h after poisoning,parameter determined in PQ group had great changes,compared with the control group.At 6 h,12 h,24 h,72 h and 120 h,lung coefficients in PQ group were 5.03 ±0.07,5.17 ±0.10,5.46 ±0.10,5.68 ±0.15 and 5.83 ±0.11,respectively,which were significantly higher than those (4.49 ± 0.20,4.28 ± 0.13,4.45 ± 0.17,4.31 ±0.19 and 4.31 ±0.16) in control group (P<0.01).Levels of FKN (pg/mL) in serum were 140.9 ± 15.8,157.9 ± 17.6,188.8 ± 24.8,224.4 ± 18.1 and 229.9 ± 10.0,respectively,significantly higher than those (121.7 ± 12.8,121.6 ± 12.1,118.3 ± 14.0,122.8 ± 12.4 and 120.5 ± 8.8) in control group (6 h P <0.05,others P <0.01).Levels of FKN (pg/mL) in lung tissue homogenate were 4 222.0 ± 641.1,5 021.0 ± 514.5,5 911.6 ± 478.1,7 092.2 ± 652.9 and 7 639.3 ± 666.6,respectively,significantly higher than those (2 860.2 ± 477.3,3 068.9 ± 446.0,3 168.7 ± 728.5,3 178.0 ±488.2 and 3 147.3 ±426.6) in control group (P <0.01).In PQ group,pathological changes manifested themselves in inflammatory cell infiltration,congestion,edema,structural damage,etc.The lung injury aggravated gradually from 6 h to 120 h.In control group,there was no significant change.FKN expressed mainly in bronchial cells,alveolar epithelial cells and pulmonary artery endothelial cells.Where there was higher expression of FKN,there were more inflammatory cells infiltrated.The level of FKN in lung tissue homogenate was positively correlated with lung coefficient (r =0.937).The level of FKN in serum was positively related to that in lung tissue homogenate (r =0.968).Conclusion There is correlation between FKN and acute lung injury induced by PQ in rats.
