Objective To investigate the association of plasma metallothionein 3 (MT3) and its polymorphisms with childhood autism,in order to provide the objective evidence for autistic etiology and molecular diagnosis. Methods A total of 132 autistic children were recruited from several special autism training schools in Wuhan and the Hubei Maternal and Child Health Hospital between January 2011 and November 2014.Three hundred and sixteen healthy children from the out-patients of Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University during the same period were enrolled as healthy controls.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was utilized to measure plasma MT3 protein levels in a dataset of 81 cases and 80 controls, while eight single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) located in MT3 gene were genotyped in another greater dataset that included 132 cases and 236 controls by the matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry within the Sequenom platform. Results Plasma MT3 protein level was significantly lower in autistic group compared to healthy controls [(740.0 ± 327.4) ng/L vs (1 007.1 ± 554.3) ng/L,P < 0.001],particularly for boys when stratified by gender (P =0.005).No difference existed in any allele or genotype frequencies between the 2 groups (all P > 0.05).Conclusions The selected autistic children harbored abnormal expression profiles of plasma MT3 protein, which may have no connection with its gene polymorphisms.

AIM:To study the expressions of galectin-3 and the possible anti-infectious function in genital tract of female mouse. METHODS:The expressions of galectin-3 mRNA in different reproductive tissues were analyzed by RT-PCR. The mouse model of genital tract infection was constructed by injection of LPS and Freunds adjuvant incomplete into the vaginal mucous. The expression pattern of galectin-3 protein was detected by immunohistochemistry. RESULTS:The expression of galectin-3 mRNA was detected in the uterus, vagina, oviduct and ovary of normal adult mouse. The galectin-3 protein was expressed in the genital tract mucous of epithelial cell surface and uterine gland. After stimulation with LPS,the expression of galectin-3 protein was significantly up-regulated compared to normal control and adjuvant control (P

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(04):-
The rapid deployment flow for medical support unit of health-care train is discussed in the aspect of personnel spot-training with carriage. A handbook is compiled for loading and unloading health-care train's equipment. A series of methods and processes are put forward based on the principle of " fixed type of equipment, fixed person for loading or unloading, fixed position, fixed operation steps", which provides a possibility for rapid deployment flow at medical support unit.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(09):-
The problems of Electromagnetic Compatibility(EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference(EMI) of medical electric devices are directly related to the medical treatment effect for wounded patients on the health-care train.EMC and EMI problems of medical electric devices in use are studied and analyzed.Suggestions on preventing EMI problems are given to guarantee the normal running of medical electric devices in health-care train.

Objective To explore optimized procedures and science decision-making methods for the triage in sanitary train and improve efficiency. Methods The work condition of triage was evaluated with queuing theory and mathematical models. Results The work of triage needs to be further optimized. The M/M/n model of queuing theory can improve efficiency, and then waiting-time that from triage site to specifically sickbed can be shorten consumedly. Conclusion The application and assistance decision on queuing theory in the triage can optimize organization plan and enhance work efficiency.

The demand of hospital car in first-aid and patients carrying is urgent in paroxysmal epidemic, disaster and wartime.According to types and characteristics of civil-train,many methods are used to rapidly refit civil-train to hospital car, such as rapid taking down devices from civil-train,installing medical appliances and unloading the device in the civil-train and auxiliaries.Based on analysis and comparison,YZ25G hard-seat train is the best one to refit from civil-train to hospital car.

Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2023;58(3):469-482
Ribonucleic acid (RNA) medicines have strong therapeutic potential for numerous rare genetic illnesses and malignancies because of its exact programmability based on Watson-Crick base pairing principle and unique ability to regulate gene expression. However, RNA medicines still have limitations in many areas, including stability, half-life time, immunogenicity, organ selectivity, cellular uptake and endosomal escape efficiency despite their great therapeutic potentials. This review briefly introduced numerous RNA medications [mostly messenger RNA (mRNA), small interfering RNA (siRNA), microRNA (miRNA) and antisense oligonucleotide (ASO)] that have intrigued of researchers in recent years, as well as their action mechanism

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2014;28(4):243-245
OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the clinical features and treatment of tuberculous otitis media and mastoiditis.
METHOD:
Thirteen patients with tuberculous otitis media and mastoiditis were retrospectively analyzed and the related literatures were reviewed. One case was treated by surgery only, and anti-tuberculosis treatment was given to another one patient, and surgical removal of disease lesions in combination with anti-tuberculosis treatment were given to 12 patients.
RESULT:
One patient received surgery only was found to recur after follow-up for seven months. The patient did not recur after seven months' follow-up after antituberculosis therapy, and other patients did not recur.
CONCLUSION
Although the regular anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy treatment was the main treatment for tuberculous otitis and mastoiditis, surgical treatment was helpful to achieved more rapid healing of the ear.
