Objective To explore the relationships of post- traumatic growth with self- care efficacy and psychological resilience in patients with breast cancer. Methods Totally 303 patients with breast cancer were investigated with Post- traumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI), Chinese version of Strategies Used by People to Promote Health (C- SUPPH) and Connor- Davidson Resilience Scale (CD- RISC). Results The total score of PTGI was 63.74±13.00 and the status of post- traumatic growth in breast cancer patients was in middle level, with a highest interpersonal score of 24.49±5.05, a lowest mental change score of 3.84± 1.91. Correlation analysis showed that post- traumatic growth was positively correlated with the level of self- care efficacy and psychological resilience (P<0.01 or 0.05). Regression analysis showed that self- care efficacy and psychological resilience in breast cancer patients could effectively predict the post- traumatic growth with an explanation rate of 36.1%. Conclusions Self- care efficacy and psychological resilience in patients with breast cancer are closely correlated with post- traumatic growth. It is suggested to take appropriate measures to promote post-traumatic growth of the breast cancer patients.

Objective To investigate the effect of Janus kinase2/signal transducer and activator of transcription 1 (JAK2/STAT1) signaling pathway on acute kidney injury induced by liver cold ischemia reperfusion (IR) in rats. Methods Thirty healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 220-250 g,were assigned randomly to 3 groups (n =10/group):sham operation group (Sham group);liver cold ischemia reperfusion model group (I/R group);JAK2 kinase inhibitor AG490 group (AG490 group) (AG490 at dose of 10 mg/kg was intraperitoneally injected 30 min before establishment of the model).Other groups were given the equal volume of normal saline at the same time points. Then the rats were sacrificed at 6 h after reperfusion (at 6 h after the end of operation in Sham group). The renal function and oxidative stress level were observed. The pathological changes of the renal tissues and nephritic cell apoptosis were analyzed, and the expression of p-JAK2,pSTAT1,Bcl-2 and Bax was detected by Western blotting. Results As compared with Sham operation group, renal histological lesion and renal dysfunction were aggravated, level of oxidative stress and apoptosis rate were increased in I/R group, the Bcl-2/Bax ratio was decreased and the expression of pJAK2 and p-STAT1 was up-regulated.As compared with I/R group,AG490 dramatically attenuated histological lesions and oxidative stress, restored the renal function, and reduced the number of apoptotic tubular epithelial cells.AG490 significantly increased the Bcl-2/Bax ratio, and inhibited the expression of p-JAK2 and p-STAT1.Conclusion Blockage of JAK2/STAT1 signaling pathway can alleviate acute kidney injury after liver cold ischemia reperfusion probable through inhibiting the oxidative stress and apoptosis.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 2014;(6):525-527
Objective To discuss and to compare the curative effects of interventional embolization with different embolic agents in treating giant hepatic cavernous hemangiomas. Methods From 2008 to 2010, a total of 30 cases with clinically proved hepatic cavernous hemangioma were treated with interventional embolization. According to the embolic agents used , the patients were divided into pingyangmycin-lipiodol emulsion mixed with sodium alginate microspheres group(PLE+KMG, group A, n=15) and pingyangmycin-lipiodol emulsion group (PLE, group B, n=15). CT scanning was performed one, 3, 6, 12 months after the treatment to evaluate the curative effect. Results The technical success rate was 100%in both groups. The mean PLE dose used in group A and B was (10.9 ± 5.2) ml and (11.4 ± 4.9) ml respectively, the difference between the two groups was not significant (P > 0.05). CT reexamination performed one, 3, 6 months after the treatment showed that a reduction in tumor volume over 50%in group A was seen in 9, 11 and 14 cases respectively, while in group B it was 0, 3 and 5 cases respectively (P <0.05). One week after the procedure, the degree of pain in patients of group A was more severe than that in patients of group B, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Slight abnormal hepatic function was seen in some patients of both groups, which presented mainly as an elevation of aminotransferase, which returned to normal after symptomatic medication. Follow-up with questionnaire indicted that patients of group A were more satisfied with the treatment than the patients of group B. Conclusion Transhepatic infusion of pingyangmycin-lipiodol emulsion is a safe and effective treatment for giant cavernous hemangioma of the liver. Combination use of pingyangmycin-lipiodol emulsion and sodium alginate microspheres can obviously reduce the tumor size mainly in the first and the third month after the treatment, besides it produces instant clinical effect although the pain is more severe than in patients treated with pure pingyangmycin-lipiodol emulsion.

Objective To observe the effect of capsaicin on lipid deposition in liver cells and the expression of autophagy,to provide new ideas and targets for the study of fatty liver disease. Methods The model of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) was established by inducing LGF cell line of liver primary cells with oleic acid (40 μg/mL).The experiment was divided into blank control group, oleic acid group, capsaicin group[oleic acid--capsaicin(100 μmol/L)].The level of intracellular lipid was detected by oil red O staining and triglyceride (TG) kit.Western bolt was used to detect the expression level of autophagy marker molecule p62 and LC3,and to calculate the ratio of LC3 Ⅱ/LC3-Ⅰ.Results After treated with 40 μg/mL oleic acid for 24 h,the oil red O staining showed that orange-red lipid droplets were found in the oleic acid group, but there was no obvious orange-red lipid droplet formation in the blank group, which suggesting that the NAFLD cell model was established successfully by using 40 μg/mL oleic acid in vitro.Oil red O staining was observed, the cells in the capsaicin group were significantly less than the oleic acid group, and the content of triglyceride in the liver cells was significantly lower than that in the oleic acid group(P<0.05).Western bolt test results showed that capsaicin group p62 protein levels were significantly lower compared with the oleic acid group(P<0.05),while the LC3-Ⅱ/LC3-Ⅰ ratio was higher than that of oleic acid group(P<0.05).Conclusion NAFLD model was established by inactivating LO2 cell line with oleic acid in vitro.Capsaicin stimulated NAFLD cells, upregulated the autophagy level of NAFLD cells and reduced intracellular lipid deposition, but the specific mechanism need further study.

Abstract:
Occupational epidemiology aims to explore the effect of occupational hazards on the health of workers and understand
,
their mechanisms. It plays an important role in occupational health and occupational medicine.Currently occupational
, ,
exposures in the workplace are complex and diverse and multiple factors affect workers´ health at the same time. Therefore it
is important to elucidate the pathogenesis of occupational disease caused by occupational hazards and implement early
- -
intervention. System epidemiology collects data on multi level exposure and multi omics information to conduct network analysis
-
on the relationship amongrisk factors. and to study the mechanisms of exposures and health outcomes based on multi level data.
, , , ,
Using the study design of system epidemiology occupational environmental lifestyle and social factors are combined as a
,
system to evaluate the health of workers which can better evaluate the adverse health effects caused by occupational hazards.
- , ,
The studies base on multi omics design will explore the pathogenesis of occupational diseases at the molecular cellular and
tissue levels to evaluate the impact of occupational hazards on workers´ health and to explore interventions from multiple
-
perspectives to reduce the occurrence of occupational or work related diseases.
