1.New advances in the treatment of multisystem Langerhans cell histiocytosis
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2014;(12):1191-1193
Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a rare proliferative disorder of dendritic cells and the reticular cells. It is divided into single-system langerhans cell histiocytosis (SS-LCH) and multi-system langerhans cell system (MS-LCH). MS-LCH has a very poor prognosis. The key of survival is timely and effective treatment. The treatment protocols include chemotherapy, immunotherapy and stem cells transplantation. In this review, the new advances in the treatment of MS-LCH were systemically reviewed.
2.Comparison between CT and MRI in diagnosis of spinal trauma
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(5):706-708
Objective To analyze the diagnostic value of CT and MRI in spinal trauma. Methods 41 cases of spinal trauma in patients with spinal CT scan and MRI image data were retrospectively analyzed and compared. Results MRI examination revealed 41 cases of spinal fractures,CT showed 38 cases of fracture; MRI examination revealed 10 cases of bone contusion,CT scan found 1 case of bone contusion;MRI examination revealed 15 cases of anterior longitudinal ligament injury,12 cases occurred posterior longitudinal ligament injury,CT scan found that the anterior longitudinal ligament and posterior longitudinal ligament injury of 2 cases of MRI detection rate was significantly higher than CT(P < 0.05).120 bone chips CT findings,MRI examination revealed 83 cases of bone chips, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion CT and MRI of spinal trauma are two commonlyways of imaging examination. There are advantages and disadvantages of CT examination of the bone chips shift and so can be clearly shown MRI for ligament injury.Bone contusion can be clearly demonstrated for the general compression fractures in MRI examination.Commimcted fracture should be added to do a CT scan.
3.Diagnosis and treatment of adult adrenal neuroblastoma
Journal of Regional Anatomy and Operative Surgery 2016;25(9):677-679,680
Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of adult neuroblastoma, and improve the diagnosis and treatment level. Methods The clinical characteristics, imaging findings and pathological features of a 20-year-old patient with adult adrenal neuroblastoma in our hospital was analyzed with related reference. Results The frozen section was misdiagnosed as lymphoma for the large tumor with impor-tant vessels around, the cytoreductive surgery was performed, which was comfirmed as neuroblastoma by postoperative pathology. Conclusion Neuroblastomas are extremely rare in adults. These tumors often have peculiar features and behave differently than those in infants and chil-dren.Adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy should be considered due to their aggressive nature.
4.Effects of polysaccharide from spirulina platensis on the growth of HeLa cells
Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the effects of polysaccharide from Spirulina platensis (PSP) on the growth of HeLa cells. Methods The antiproliferation activities of PSP on HeLa cells were evaluated by MTT assay. The morphologic changes of HeLa cells were observed under light microscope. Cells division cycle was measured by flow cytometry. Results It was showed that with the increase of PSP concentration, the inhibited rate on HeLa cells increased and the survived rate declined; The HeLa cells exposed to PSP for 24~48h displayed significant morphologic changes; PSP had a specific effect on the HeLa cell division cycle, increased the number of cells in phase G 1. Conclusion These results indicated that the effects of PSP on HeLa cells may probably be attributed to increase of the number of cells in phase G 1.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(09):-
To explore the clinical value of the color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI))in diagnosis of vascular disease in the lower extremities of patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus(2DM), 102 patients with 2DM and 20 normal controls were included in this study. The values of vessel intimal-media thickness(IMT), the size of plaque, vessel diameter, percentage of diameter stenosis, percentage of the peak systolic velocity acceleration at stenosis orifice, and velocity wave pattern were obtained with CDFI. The study indicated that the incidence of vasculer disease in the lower extremities as shown by CDFI was higher than that as assessed by clinical manifestations only. By CDFI,the severity of the stenosis or the obstructive lesions of blood wessels in lower extremities was better evaluated, moreover quantitative indexes for clinical diagnosis were provided.

Objective To assess the changes of serum levels of interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin-8 (IL-8) in pregnant women with stationary phase systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to measure serum IL-6 and IL-8 from 14 pregnant women with stationary phase SLE (SLE group), 12 normal pregnant women (normal pregnant group) and 12 normal non-pregnant women (group normal non-pregnant). The later two groups are set as controls. Results The IL-6, IL-8 levels in group SLE patients are (20.31?5.70) ng/L and (48.80?9.17) ng/L, significantly higher than those in normal pregnant group [IL-6, IL-8 levels are (8.40?2.49) ng/L and (21.15?5.21) ng/L, respectively, P 0.05). Conclusion Serum levels of IL-6, IL-8 may be helpful to monitor the progress of SLE during pregnancy.

3) in control group (χ2=5.42,P=0.02).Conclusions Gemcitabine chemotherapy combined with HIFU treatment was more effective for pancreatic tumor growth control and pain relief without more adverse events, which was effective and safe.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the inherited tendency of lateral discoid meniscus of the knee, and to evaluate the surgical efficacy for the disease in two consecutive generations. Methods There were 12 cases of lateral discoid meniscus, which were confirmed by arthroscopy, in 6 families. Arthroscopic total or partial meniscectomy or meniscoplasty were carried out in these cases. Results In concordance with the Watanabe’s classification, 9 cases were classified as “type Ⅰ” and 3 cases,“type Ⅱ”. Two cases underwent total meniscectomy, 3 cases received partial meniscectomy, and 7 cases, meniscoplasty. The results of surgery were assessed in accordance with the Ikeuchi criteria as follows: good in 3 cases, fair in 2 and poor in 1 in the first generation, while excellent in 5 and good in 1 in the second generation. Conclusions There may be a hereditary predisposition to discoid meniscus.
