Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore the protective effect of Ligustrazine on pulmonary fibrosis caused by hyperoxia in neonatal rats.Met-hods Eighty Sprague-Dawley(SD)clean neonatal rats, which were less than 12 hours old, were enrolled in this study. The neonatal rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:air-exposed control group(group A);air-exposed plus Ligustrazine-treated group(group B);hype-roxia-exposed control group(group C);hyperoxia-exposed plus Ligustrazine-treated group(group D).The neonatal rats of group B and group D were intraperitoneally injected with Ligustrazine[30 mg/(kg?d)] in solution of normal saline(NS),group A and group C were intraperitoneally given the same dose of NS.On 14th day,10 rats of each group were randomly chosen and then killed, the pulmonary pathological changes were observed by HE staining under light microscope. The area percentages of collagen fibers were measured by Masson staining and imaging analysis. The degree of pulmonary fibrosis was evaluated by the area percentages of collagen fibers and hydroxyproline content. The results were analyzed by SPSS 13.0 software. Results On the 14th day of the exposure, the histopathologic examination demonstrated broadened lung interstitium and reduced alveolar quantity and lung fibrosis were developed in group C;Ligustrazine treatment obviously alle-viated the changes of lung histomorphology. The newborn rats in group C had lower body weight compared that of with group A,B(Pa0.05).Conclusion Early use of Ligustrazine can decrease the severity of the pulmonary fibrosis of neonatal rats exposed to hyperoxia.
2.Intervention Effect of Retinoic Acid on Hyperoxic Lung Fibrosis in Neonatal Rat
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(06):-
Objective To explore intervention effect of retinoic acid(RA) on hyperoxic lung fibrosis in neonatal rat,and to observe the role of transforming growth factor-?1(TGF-?1)and ?-smooth muscle actin(?-SMA)in hyperoxic lung fibrosis. Methods The SD neonatal rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:air-exposed control group(group Ⅰ),air-exposed and RA-treated group(group Ⅱ),hyperoxia-exposed control group(group Ⅲ),hyperoxia-exposed and RA-treated group(group Ⅳ).The rats of group Ⅲ,Ⅳ were kept in chambers containing 850 mL/L oxygen, the other 2 groups were exposed to air.The rats of group Ⅱ,Ⅳ were intraperitoneally injected with RA [500 ?g/(kg?d)],group Ⅰ,Ⅲ were intraperitoneally given the same dose of oleum lini.At the end of exposure, the lung histophatholoical changes and radical alveolar counts(RAC) were observed by HE staining under light microscope, the degree of pulmonary fibrosis was evaluated by Masson trichrome method and fibrosis score. The protein expression of TGF-?1 and ?-SMA were determined by immunostaining. Results At 14 d of exposure, group Ⅲ resulted in a significant increase in fibrosis score and expressions of TGF-?1 and ?-SMA compared with group Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅳ(Pa0.05).Conclusion TGF-?1 and ?-SMA may have important role in hyperoxic induced lung fiborsis injury, the earlier period intervention of RA can reduce lung fibrosis regeneration and exceptional alveolus development.

Objective To explore the role of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK)in central nucleus of amygdala (CeA)in the mechanism of fentanyl-induced hyperalgesia (OIH)in rats. Methods Step 1:12 healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 60-100 g,were randomly divided into OIH and Control group. The mechanical paw withdrawal threshold (PWT)and the thermal paw withdrawal latency (PWL)were tested at pre-and post-OIH induction. Then the level of p-ERK in the CeA was analyzed by Western blotting.Step 2:After successful induction of OIH and catheterization in CeA,another 30 SD male rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (n = 6 each):Group OIH;Group OIH+U0124;Group OIH+U0126(0.1 5 nmol);Group OIH+U0126(0.45 nmol)and Group OIH+U0126 (1.5 nmol),then 0.3 μl of DMSO,U0124 (1.5 nmol),U0126 (0.1 5 nmol,0.45 nmol,1.5 nmol)was given through the catheter separately.PWT and PWL were tested before cathe-terization,at pre-OIH induction,post-OIH induction and 0.5 h after CeA drug administration. After the last test of pain threshold, the rats were sacrificed and CeA tissues were sampled for analyzing the expression of p-ERK by western blot. Results In step 1 compared with control group,PWT and PWL of OIH group were sharply decreased post-OIH induction (P <0.05),concomitant increase of the expression of p-ERK in CeA in OIH group was also observed. In step 2,both PWT and PWL were sharply decreased post-OIH induction (P <0.05).Intra-CeA U0126 injection, but not U0124, reversed both behavioral hyperalgesia and molecular activation of ERK in CeA in a dose-dependent manner (P <0.05).Conclusion ERK plays a pivotal role in the maintenance of fentanyl-induced hy-peralgesia.Targeting inhibition of ERK activation in CeA can alleviate fentanyl-induced hyperalgesia.

West China Journal of Stomatology 2014;32(6):588-591
OBJECTIVEThis study aims to observe and compare the influences of the casting alloy post and cores on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
METHODSSix casting alloy post and sores were fabricated for the experimental groups, and zirconia post and core served as the control. The seven types of post and cores were of the same size and shape. Each post and core was orally fastened to a volunteer and then imaged with sequences of T1-weighted spin echo imaging (SE-T1WI), T2-weighted turbo spin-echo imaging (TSE-T2WI), and diffusion weighted imaging (DWI).
RESULTSCobalt chromium alloy post and core generated severe artifacts, whereas gold palladium alloy post and core generated no obvious artifacts, and no difference was observed between the zirconia and the gold palladium alloy post and cores (P > 0.05). The pure titanium alloy post and core produced mild artifacts. The post and cores of the titanium, nickel-cadmium, and gold platinum alloys generated moderate artifacts with no significant differences (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONDifferent metal post and cores have different influences on MRI. With the exception of that generated by cobalt chromium alloy, the artifact generated by the single-alloy post and core does not influence the image of the normal head and neck.

Methods A total of 153 cervical biopsies of patients from Gynecology Department, The Second Hospital of Tianjin Medical University were recruited during December 2013 to June 2015. Fifty-seven cases of squamous carcinoma of cervix (SCC), 36 cases of low grade intraepithelial neoplasia (LSIL), 30 patients with high grade intraepithelial neoplasia (HSIL) and 30 cases of normal cervix (NC) were included in the study. Gene chip method was used to detect high-risk hu-man papillpmavirus(HR-HPV)infection. Hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to make pathological diagnosis. Immunohis-tochemical assay was used for the detection of P-JAK2, P-STAT3 and mutant type p53 protein expression in cervical le-sions. Results (1) HR-HPV infection rate and P-JAK2 expression were significantly higher in SCC group than those of HSIL group, LSIL group and NC group (P<0.05). (2) The expression of P-STAT3 and mutant type p53 were significantly higher in SCC group than those of LSIL group and NC group (P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference between SCC group and HSIL group. (3) The positive expressions of P-JAK2 and P-STAT3 showed significant differences in different FIGO stages, histopathological grade, lymph node metastasis and HR-HPV infection in SCC group, respectively ( P<0.05). There were significant differences in the positive expression of mutant type p53 between different FIGO stages and HR-HPV infection (P<0.05). (4) There was positive correlation between P-JAK2, P-STAT3, positive expression of mutant type p53 and HR-HPV infection in SCC tissues (P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between P-STAT3, p53 expression and HR-HPV infection (P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between mutant p53 expression and HR-HPV infection (P<0.05). Conclusion P-JAK2, P-STAT3 and mutant p53 protein expression rates are high in SCC group than those of NC and SIL groups, which may be associated with HR-HPV infection, cervical cancer occurrence and progression.
