Objective To explore the clinical effiicacy and effect on cytokines of invigorating the kidney and activating blood fomula on treating osteoarthritis patients in the pattern of kidney deficiency. Methods 113 patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into two groups including 56 cases of treatment group and 57 cases of control group, which were treated by invigorating the kidney and activating blood fomula and combinaton of Celecoxib and Glucosamine respectively. The clinical effiicacy of two groups were investigated by Womac osteoarthritis index and the average severity of OA index. The changes of serum inflammatory cytokines TNF-? and IL-6 were detected by ELISA. ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of mescenchymal stem cell (MSC) transplantation on Tourette syndrome(TS)model rats.MethodsStereotypies can be successfully induced in rats by intrastriatal microinfusion of TS sera.MSC suspension was bilaterally injected into the striatum.Survival and differentiation of transplanted MSC were tested through immunohistochemical analyses.ResultsFlow cytometry results demonstrated that the cells strongly expressed CD29(95.2％ ),CD105(97.2％ ),CD44(96.3％ ) and CD106 (94.1％).TS rats with MSC grafts exhibited significantly decreased stereotypic behaviors at 10 and 14 days(95.5 ±6.6,73.1 ± 6.5 vs.114.1 ± 6.0,108.0 ± 6.4).Immunohistochemistry analyses revealed survival of transplanted MSC and differentiation into neurons and astrocytes in the rat brain.ConclusionIntrastriatal transplantation of human MSC can provide therapeutic potential for TS.

Objective To investigate the effects of total nutrient admixture (TNA) on the recovery of patients with gastric cancer after radical gastrectomy.Methods The clinical data of 50 patients with gastric cancer who were admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Luzhou Medical College between March 2013 and March 2014 were retrospectively analyzed.Among 50 patients receiving radical gastrectomy,26 patients receiving TNA were allocated to the experimental group and 24 patients receiving conventional fluid infusion were allocated to the control group.Patients in the experimental group received the nutritional support therapy using TNA at preoperative day 5 and at postoperative days 1-5,and patients in the control group received the postoperative intravenous rehydration including water,glucose,electrolyte,vitamins and micro elements.The nutritional indexes [albumin (Alb),prealbumin,transferrin and hemoglobin (Hb)],time to anal exsufflation,incidence of complications (wound infection,anastomotic leakage,blooding and intestinal obstruction) and duration of hospital stay were observed before nutritional support therapy and at postoperative day 8.The count data were analyzed using the chi-square test.The chi-square value of correction for continuity was used when 1 ≤ minimum theoretical frequency ≤ 5.The measurement data with normal distribution were presented as (x) ±s and analyzed using the t test or repeated measures ANOVA.The ordinal data were analyzed by the analysis of variance.Results The Alb,prealbumin,transferrin and Hb in the experimental group were (38.6 ± 2.0) g/L,(281 ± 33) mg/L,(2.5 ± 0.9) g/L and (111 ± 20) g/L before nutritional support therapy and (38.2 ± 1.9) g/L,(277 ± 16) mg/L,(2.3 ± 1.1) g/L and (112 ± 37) g/L at postoperative day 8,respectivley.The Alb,prealbumin,transferrin and Hb in the control group were (38.3 ±2.4) g/L,(287 ± 34) mg/L,(2.4 ± 1.1) g/L and (107 ± 21) g/L before nutritional support therapy and (30.3 ±2.3) g/L,(190 ± 41) mg/L,(1.6 ± 0.3) g/L and (93 ± 22) g/L at postoperative day 8,respectivley.There were significant differences in the nutritional indexes at postoperative day 8 between the 2 groups (F =174.042,95.637,9.529,4.919,P ＜ 0.05).The time to anal exsufflation in the experimental group were (52 ± 11) hours,which was significantly different from (70 ± 12) hours in the control group (t =-5.176,P ＜ 0.05).The incidence of complications was 15.4％ (4/26) in the experimental group,which was significantly different from 58.3％ (14/24) in the control group (x2=6.460,P ＜0.05).Patients with complications in the 2 groups were cured by anti-infective or symptomatic treatment.The duration of hospital stay was (9 ± 3) days in the experimental group and (12 ± 4) days in the control group,with a significant difference between the 2 groups (t =-2.912,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion TNA can improve the nutritional status of patients after radical gastrectomy in a short time.It could help patients to get through the perioperative period smoothly,and enhance the postoperative recovery.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical features of chronic tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF), provided disease-related treatment experience and lessons for clinicians. METHOD: To successfully repair one case of chronic tracheoesophageal fistula with surgery, and to analyze the clinical treatment process, combined with relevant literature, the author reported the experiene of diagnosis and treatment in TEF. RESULT: After the gastrointestinal ostomy and Stent implantation, the fistula persisted, nine months later ,we took the surgery to repair the fistule, ten days postoperation, the fistule healed and esophageal iodine water examination didn't prompt obvious abnormalities, the patient was discharged without any postoperative complications 12 days postoperation. CONCLUSION If conservative treatment failed with TEF, the surgical repair should be carried timely, By double sutured with fistula in surgery, and reinforced with the approaching muscle tissue, It can achieve good results.

In recent years, the targeted protein degradation technology has developed quickly, with proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) as the best-known strategy through exploring the ubiquitin-proteasome system. A number of new targeted protein degradation strategies have been emerging to expand the scope of protein degradation technology, including lysosome-targeting chimeras (LYTACs), autophagy-targeting chimeras (AUTACs), autophagosome-tethering compounds (ATTECs) and chimeras based on chaperone-mediated autophagy (CMA). The emerging methodologies have explored another important protein degradation system in eukaryotes-lysosomal systems, such as the endosome-lysosome pathway and the autophagy-lysosome pathway. This review summaries the mechanisms and features of different strategies for targeted protein degradation, with a special emphasis on the new targeted protein degradation technologies, such as their current status, advantages and limitations.

Objective:To explore the role of clinical pharmacists in the use of antiplatelet drugs in the patients with PCI in periop-erative period in order to improve the clinical treatment effect and reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions. Methods:According to the latest antiplatelet drug treatment guidelines and the related literatures, the causes of acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding induced by triple antiplatelet drugs were analyzed in one case of postoperative patients with PCI, and the rationality of the drug use and the treatment of bleeding were discussed, and the related suggestions were put forward for clinics. Results:In order to ensure the clinical safety and the rational use of drugs, the patients with high risk of bleeding and high thrombosis events should carefully select new anti-platelet drugs, and anti ischemic drugs with good efficacy and low bleeding risk were the first choices. Conclusion:In order to ensure medication safety and effectiveness, clinical pharmacists should actively participate in clinical rational drug use through giving relative suggestions and playing active roles in the rational use of antiplatelet drugs.
