Recent studies of immunology have aroused new interest in regulatory T cell for immune responses,and scientists have recognized that suppressor T cells exist in vivo and regulatory T(Treg) cells play a crucial role in mediating immune tolerance and preventing autoimmune diseases.This article reviews the types,characteristics,mechanisms,and roles of Treg in immune tolerance,aiming to offer some important theoretical evidence for the treatment of allograft rejection and autoimmune diseases.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Aegisy retrievable filter in inferior vena cava interventional treatment for acute deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity. Methods Acute or sub acute unilateral lower extremity deep vein thrombosis ( deep vein thrombosis, DVT) patients in our hospital were selected, and Aegisy filter was put into the inferior vena cava through the femoral, and thrombolytic therapy was carried out in the next day. Limb conditions was observation after 10 to 15 days, confirmed by vascular ultrasound and angiography of lower limb vein after no fresh or free thrombus. The filter was removed with protector, anticoagulant therapy after review the venography of lower limb postoperative. Results All Aegisy filter were put into patients, and there were no obvious forward jumping and drawing back occurred during the release of the filters, and all Aegisy filter had a better position. Placement of a filter everage time was (16. 8 ± 1. 3) days, 89 cases were successfully recovery filter. The effct of Aegisy filter on the patients with lower extremity deep venous thrombosis after treatment is obvious effect, no pain, and no symptom of pulmonary embolism. Conclusion Aegisy retrievable inferior vena cava filter has many advantages in clinical use. The filter can be placed to the scheduled position accurately,and it is very powerful in captu-ring the thrombus,it can be hold in the inferior vona cava for long time before it is planed to be retrieved,and its retrieval success is very high. Moreover,with high technieal successful rate the implantation of Aegisy retrievable inferior vena cava filter is very safe and effective for the interventional treatment of acute deep venous thrombosis of lower extremity.

Objective To explore mechanism of action of rhubarb on intrahepatic cholestasis in infantile rats.Methods Ninety Sprague-Dawley(SD)infantile rats were randomly divided into 5 groups:treatment group of rhubarb,untreated group,treatment control group 1 of ursodeoxychlic acid(UDCA),treatment control group 2 of UDCA and deltasone,and control group not treated with ?-naphthyl isothiocyanate(ANIT)and any other treatments.Jaundice model of intrahepatic cholestasis was established in infantile rats by ANIT.At the time of the 2nd,3rd,and 4th week,the concentrations of serum total bilirubin(TB),direct bilirubin(DB),ALT,alkaline phosphatase(ALP),total bile acid(TBA)and TBA were assessed by automatic biochemical analyzer.The concentrations of nitrogen monoxide(NO),maleic dialdehyde(MDA)and the ability of total antioxidation(T-AOC)in liver tissues were measured.Results It was demonstrated that the animal model of hepatic jaundice with cholestasis was successfully established.The levels of serum DB,TB,ALP,ALT and TBA were significantly lower in the treatment group of rhubarb compared with those in the untreated group(Pa

Objective To explore the sleep problem and its related factors,and to provide evidence for improving sleep quality of patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Methods Pittsburgh sleeping quality index (PSQI),self-rating depression scale (SDS),self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and a self-designed questionnaire were applied to survey 318 patients with AS.Data were analyzed by the SPSS 17.0 software.The relationship between the various relevant factors were revealed by t-test,x2 test,Wilcoxon rank-sum test and Pearson correlation analysis.Results The mean total score of PSQI was 6.6±3.6, and 35.4％ of AS outpatients showed poor sleep quality.The difference of PSQI scores and detection rate of poor sleep quality between male and female were not statistically significant.There were significant difference of early morning stiffness(Z=-3.077,P=0.002),BASFI(Z=-4.766,P=0.000),BASDAI(Z=-6.880,P=0.000),nocturnal pain VAS(VAS)(Z=-6.502,P=0.000),total back pain VAS(Z=-6.675,P=0.000),ESR(Z=-2.370,P=0.018),CRP(Z=-2.063,P=0.039) between the poor sleep and the good sleep patients (P＜0.05).The PSQI score was positively correlated with age (r=0.165,P=0.003) but not gender and disease duration (r=0.078,P=0.165; r=0.094,P=0.097).PSQI score difference were also observed between patients with negative mood and patients without negative mood (t=-7.613,P=0.000; t=-7.287,P=0.000).Conclusion High incidence of sleep disorder exists among AS outpatients,and it is closely related with age,anxiety,depression and activity of AS.Attention should be paid to AS patients with sleep problems.

Objective To assess the effects of MRI-positive and interictal epileptic charges(IEDs) dominance on the memory of the patients with drug-resistant medial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE). Methods Fifty right-handed patients(age ranging from 16 to 60 years old)diagnosed as drug-resistant MTLE in our hospital with normal intelligence between September 2006 and April 2007 were investigated. All patients were classified as left MRI-positive(MRI(+)),right MRI(+),MRI(-),bilateral MR[ (+)by high-quality MR[protocol.The EEG was defined as dominant IEDs if≥75%independent IEDs was confined to one temporal lobe in all EEG recordings.Clinical memory scale was administered as memory assessment of MTLE.ANOVA and non-parametric statistics were used to analyze the data in SPSS 12.0. Results The distribution of age,sex,education,occupation,living condition,course,seizure and treat among left MRI(+),right MRI(+),MRI(-),bilateral MRI(+)groups was similar.All scores in the patients with MTLE was significantly lower than normal(P＜0.05).Right MRI(+)MTLE patients had deftcits in nonsense graphics recognition(9.42±7.46)compared to left MRI(+)and MRI(-) groups((16.26±4.43)and(18.26±5.49),F=4.281,P＜0.05).Among MRI(-)patients,left IEDs,right IEDs and bilateral IEDs groups displayed not significantly different impairment in memory. Conclusion Right MRI(+)MTLE has more severe impairment in non-verbal memory,and nonsense graphics recognition can be used to detect the deficit.

Objective To explore relevant factors of hyperthyroidism with periodic paralysis of hypokalemic (TPP).Methods The clinical data of 112 cased with hyperthyroidism complicated periodic paralysis of hypokalemic were retrospectively analyzed and to analyze the relevant factors. Results Compared to control group, the hyperthyroidism with periodic paralysis group had no obvious differences in general factors ( P ＞ 0. 05 ), but had obvious difference in Gender( P ＜0. 05 ) ;Compared to control group, the hyperthyroidism with periodic paralysis group had obvious differences in induction factors(P ＜ 0. 05);Compared to recurrent group, the incipient group had no obvious differences in several factors( P ＞0. 05) ,but had obvious difference in hyperthyroidism medical history over one year( P ＜0. 05) ; Hyperthyroidism with periodic paralysis was strongly associated with hypokalemia, age, gender, tiredness, getting a cold, satiation and hyperthyroidism genetic history ( P ＜ 0. 01 ). Conclusion The relevant factors of hyperthyroidism with periodic paralysis were hypokalemia, gender, tiredness, getting a cold, intemperance, satiation and hyperthyroidism medical history.

Objective To study the role of OIf-1/EBF associated zinc finger protein (OAZ),a transcription factor encoded by a positional systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) candidate gene,in the function of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) of SLE patients by silencing this gene.Methods OAZ mRNA levels of bone marrow MSC obtained from 5 SLE patients and 5 healthy controls were detected by real-time PCR.Bone marrow MSC obtained from 6 SLE patients were incubated with specific siRNAs for 3 days,then cells were harvested for OAZ measurement,Idl-3 and CCL2 mRNA levels were tested by real-time PCR,and levels of CCL2 were detected in culture supernatants using ELISA.Differences between groups were analyzed using t-test or MannWhitney test.Results ① OAZ mRNA levels of bone marrow MSC were significantly elevated in SLE patients (0.013±0.016) compared to healthy controls (0.001±0.000,P=0.009).② After OAZ silencing,the expression levels of OAZ,Id1,Id2 and ld3 mRNA were significantly decreased (△Ct 10.3±0.7,15.2±1.6,8.1±1.4,10.5±0.6 vs 8.7±0.7,14.1±1.2,7.1±1.5,9.8±0.6) (P all ＜0.05).③ Both the expression levels of CCL2 mRNA (△Ct 2.2±1.1 vs 3.0±1.1 ) and the levels of CCL2 protein in culture supernatants [(341±29) pg/ml vs (304±19) pg/ml] were significantly increased in OAZ silencing group comparing to those in the control group (P all ＜0.05).Conclusion OAZ gene expression is significantly elevated in bone marrow MSC of SLE patients.OAZ may affect autoantibody production in SLE patients by regulating CCL2 expression.

Objective To study CT diagnosis and differential diagnosis of primary retroperitoneal neoplasm(PRN).Methods CT data in 23 cases of PRN confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analysed.Results There were 11 results of pathology in 23 cases,of them,14 cases were mesenchymal tissue-origin(12 cases were malignant neoplasm),4 cases were nervous tissue-origin(all benign),4 cases were rudimental embryonal tissue-origin(3 cases were benign diseases and one case was malignant),the source of unknown-origin in one case was malignant neoplasm.Most of these PRN showed such common CT manifestations as other tumors in the same location,but they had own special CT features respectively.Conclusion PRN have many typies,CT features of PRN in combination with the history,age and location can improve the diagnosis of histological classification and the diagnosis of the nature of tumors.

Objective To regard the implication of viruses particularly herpes in pemphigus vulgaris,and assess and compare the level of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies against herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2 (HSV1 and HSV2),cytomegalovirus (CMV) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in patients with pemphigus vulgarisand healthy people.Methods In this study,23 patients with pemphigus vulgaris and 26 healthy individuals comprised the experimental and control groups,respectively.Serum samples were taken from both groups;the levels of IgG antibodies against HSV1,HSV2,CMV and EBV were measured using ELISA.Results Immunoglobulin G titer was higher for all four viruses in the patient group in comparison to the control group.This difference was significant for anti-EBV,anti-CMV and anti-HSV2 (t=2.16,P＜0.05;t =4.76,P＜ 0.01;t=3.75,P＜0.01),respectively,but not significant for anti-HSV1 (t=0.52,P＞0.05).Conclusion Viruses including EBV,CMV,and HSV2 probably play a role in the pathogenesis of pemphigus in addition to the effects of genetics,toxins and other predisposing factors.In this study,no statistically significant relationship was observed between HSV1 and pemphigus vulgaris.More studies must be done in this regard.
