Objective To establish the disease-syndrome integrated animal models suitable for the studies of TCM through differen- tiating the property of TCM syndromes of spontaneous diseased animal models.Methods With the observation on general behaviors, irritable degree,turning endurance time,pain threshold,urine and stools,luster of hair,growing speed of hair,body weight,tongue condition,degree of eyeball protruding,conjunctiva chroma,blood pressure,heart rate,etc.of spontaneous hypertension rats(SHR) and the comparison with normal rats,the study was carried out on the macroscopic description of property of TCM syndrome of SHR (14~18 weeks of age)and their ethology.Results The blood pressure of SHR at the early stage tended to raise with age growing. Objective:To learn the effect of personality in the course of cognitive decline.Methods:106 aged people from two districts were selected randomly.Arithmetic,digit span,picture filling,block patterns,digit symbol,visual attention span,spatial reasoning were used to learn the cognitive ability,“Kartaier's 16 personality factors test”were used to explore the personality of aged people.Results:16 personality factors test shows that old people are more deferential and self-assured.The relation between reasoning and arithmetic,rule-consciousness and arithmetic,abstractedness and digit span,reasoning and block design,dominance and digit symbol,sensitivity and special reasoning,apprehension and visual attention span,openness to change and visual attention span reach the statistical significance.Conclusion:Age is the most important reason to the cognitive impairment in aged people, education can prevent the cognitive impairment in a large degree.Personality can affect the cognitive ability although different personality factor affect different cognitive fields.
3.Study on Antihypertensive time-effect and dose-effect of Sancao Jiangya decoction on SHRs

Objective: To investigate the antihypertensive time-effect and dose-effect features of Sancao jiangya decoction(SCD).Methods: The blood pressure of spontaneously hypertensive rats at different time points were measured after treatment with Sancao jiangya decoction of low,middle,high concentration by tailartery blood pressure measurement for conscious rats.Results: The blood pressure was decreased at 2 hours after drug taken,there were significant dose-effect relationship between the antihypertensive effect and the low,middle,high dose.At 4h after drug taken,the high,middle dose had dose-effect correlation,but the low-dose had no antihypertensive effect.Further research on the middledose shows that the blood pressure reduced at 1h after drug taken,and the stable antihypertensive effect was keeping during 1-4h,the blood pressure began to rise at 6h,and got back to the level before drug taken at 8h.Conclusion: To choose the Middle-dose(10.4g crude drug/kg body weight) and 2h after drug taken is appropriate for SCD's use.This result laid a substantial foundation for further research on effects evaluation and mechanism of antihypertensive medicine.
4.Expression of Hox transcript antisense RNA, enhancer of zeste homolog 2 and vascular endothelial growth factor in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and their correlation with prognosis

OBJECTIVE To explore the expression of long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) HOTAIR, enhancer of Zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and their relationship between HOTAIR and prognosis. METHODS We examined the expression of HOTAIR, EZH2 and VEGF in NPC tissues, and analyzed the clinical significance of HOTAIR expression in patients with NPC. RESULTS We found that the expression of HOTAIR, EZH2 and VEGF in the NPC tissues were significantly higher than those in the chronic nasopharyngitis tissues in the gene and protein levels (U=955,P<0.05). The HOTAIR was positively correlated with VEGF (r=0.599,P<0.001), VEGF was positively correlated with EZH2 (r=0.369, P=0.012), and HOTAIR had no significant correlation with EZH2 (r=0.139,P=0.357). Moreover, HOTAIR expression levels increased with clinical stage progression. CONCLUSION The expression of HOTAIR, EZH2 and VEGF were significantly increased in the NPC tissues, and the expression of HOTAIR was related with the TNM stage, the clinical stage and the short term therapeutic effect of the NPC patients, which indicated that the HOTAIR might be used as a biological indicator to determine the prognosis of the NPC.
5.A new thought of compound compatibility mechanism based on active small molecules monoclonal antibodies in herbs.

Compatibility mechanism study of Chinese herbal compound (CHC) has been one of key contents in Chinese medical research, but the present research methods are not suitable for its own features due to its complexity, which has restricted the process of modernization and intemationalization of Chinese medicine. In this paper, we addressed that the compatibility is closely correlated to their in vivo metabolic processes. The preparation of active small molecules monoclonal antibodies in herbs and testing a variety of effective compositions simultaneously using immunoassay can clarify the in vivo metabolism and mutual interactions of Chinese herbs, which is a new thought of studying the compound compatibility mechanisms.

6.Synthesis and identification of artificial antigens of paneoniflorin.

Oxidation method with sodium iodide was used to synthesize immunogenic antigen (PF-BSA) and coating antigen (PF-OVA) of paeoniflorin. UV spectroscopy showed that paeoniflorin was successfully conjugated with BSA and OVA. After immunized by PF-BSA, the mice can produce anti-paeoniflorin antibodies specifically. The ELISA test results showed the high titer (1:12 800) and specificity (IC50 = 0.791 mg x L(-1)) of the antiserum from mice injected with PF-BSA. Also, the antiserum showed low cross activities against nine traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) of small molecules. These artificial antigens were successfully synthesized and the anti-paeoniflorin antibody well prepared, which provides the experimental basis for the further study of ELISA and its kit.

Objective To investigate the relationship between watching television time and impaired glucose regulation (IGR) , type 2 diabetes mellitus in Chongqing City .Methods Population-based cross-sectional study was conducted to investigated the local permanent staff(lived in Chongqing more than 5 years) who were 40 years old or elder in Chongqing City .Results The overall prevalence rate of IGR and T 2DM was 6 .3% ,5 .6% respectively .The average weekly watching TV time of the samples was (12 .3 ± 10 .1) h .After adjusting for possible confounding factors ,the prevalence rate of IGR and T2DM in patients watching TV time >14 h per week was significantly higher than those watching TV time ≤ 7 h per week(Adjust .OR = 1 .528 ,95% CI = 1 .034 - 2 .121 ;OR = 1 .482 ,95% CI = 1 .133 - 2 .047 ,respectively ) .Conclusion Siting and watching TV time were positively correlated with the risk of IGR ,T2DM .So ,we should actively encourage and promote healthy lifestyles to reduce siting and watching TV time .
8.Clinical Study of Loading Dose of Clopidogrel Combined with Aspirin for the Treatment of Recurrent Cerebral Infarction

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of loading dose of clopidogrel combined with aspirin in treating moderate recurrent cerebral infarction in 24-72 h.Methods In total,118 patients with moderate recurrent cerebral infarction within the last 24-72 h were randomly divided into the control group (58 patients) and treatment group (60 patients).For both groups,the loading doses of orally administered aspirin (entericcoated) and clopidogrel was 100 mg and 300 mg,respectively,on the first day;a maintenance dose of 75 mg was administered on the next day.The degree of neurological impairment was evaluated using the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) before and after 14 d of treatment in the two groups.The safety and efficacy were also evaluated.Results After 14 d of treatment,the NIHSS score were significantly improved in both groups;however,the improvement was significantly greater in the treatment group than in the control group (P < 0.05).The total effective rate was significantly higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of bleeding events between the two groups.Conclusion The treatment of moderate recurrent cerebral infarction within 24-72 h,using a loading dose of clopidogrel combined with aspirin,can significantly improve the total effective rate with no significant increase in the incidence of bleeding events.We should strictly control the indications in clinical application process.
9.Utility of 64-MSCT in assessing acute non-reperfused myocardial infarct size

Objective To evaluate the utility of multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) in assessing acute non-reperfused myocardial infarct size. Methods Seven domestic pigs (mean weight 17.3 ± 1.9 kg) underwent ligation of the distal left anterior descending artery to establish a model of acute myocardial infarction (MI). MSCT and triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) staining were performed two hours later. The following data were acquired and analyzed:MI volume (%), CT values of the infarcted region, left ventricular cavity and normal cardiac tissue at various scanning time-points (1, 5, 10, 15, 20 min after contrast injection). Results Using MSCT, the overall MI volume showed a time-dependent decrease, with a reduction of 28.87%after 20 min. The greatest reduction occurred at the 5 min time-point. In TTC staining, MI volume was 9.87%± 2.44%. When MI size, as determined by MSCT, was compared with that by TTC staining in Bland-Altman plots, there was a better agreement at 5, 10, and 15 min time-points at 1 and 20 min. Conclusions The study indicates that double-phase scanning examination using MSCT is a useful tool to assess MI size, and the optimal late-phase scanning time-point set within 5-15 min of contrast injection.

Objective To evaluate the changes of peripheral blood interleukin(IL) 2, IL 10, IL 13 in the serum of asthmatic children and their effect on the pathogenesis of asthma.Method The serum levels of IL 2,IL 10,II 13 in 16 cases of asthmatic children and 10 cases of healthy controls were measured by ELISA methods.Results The serum levels of IL 2,IL 13 in asthmatic patients were significantly higher than those in healthy controls( P
