Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2013;(4):400-403
Posterior capsular opacification (PCO) is one of the major complications of modern cataract surgery.Multiple studies had demonstrated that the extracellular matrix (ECM) plays an important role in the generation and development of PCO.A variety of ECM components, including fibronectin (FN),laminin (LN),collagen, lumican, osteoponin (OPN),decorin, hyaluronic acid and vimentin, affect the biological properties of lens epithelial cells (LECs) through different mechanisms, such as regulating cell migration, adhesion and proliferation. This review focuses on the role of ECM in PCO formation in order to explore the pathogenesis of PCO and provide a potential therapeutic approach for the prevention and management of PCO.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2011;18(6):736-738
Objective To study Barrett's esophageal consistency with its histological findings, which were found with magnifying chromoendo6copy,and to advance the endoscopic diagnosis of Barrett's esophagus. Methods The patients with BE were diagnosed by endoscopy and histology, and their histological findings and endoscopic appearances of a total of 67 patients with BE were observed. Results Endoscopic appearances type of BE showed island (28 cases) ,tongue(7 cases) ,and circum ference(32 cases). Three types of BE under magnifying chromoendoscopy, and in magnifying endoscope group, type Ⅲ which were found with magnifying endoscope were verified intestinalisation epithelium pat ho-type, compared with type I and type Ⅱ,the discrepancy of them had statistical significance(P<0.01). Conclusion Magnifying chromoendoscopy had a relatively better consistency in the diagnosis of Barrett's esophagus with histological findings.

Objective To study the expression of caspase-3,survivin,CyclinD1 and P27 in gastric carcinoma(CA2)and the relationship between the biomarkers and clinical pathological parameters. Methods Immunohistochemical Ready-to-use two-steps method was performed to research the expression of the four proteins in 72 cases of GC,and 54 cases of normal gastric mucosa. Results The expression level of caspase- 3 and p27 protein in GC was significantly lower than that in normal gastric mucosa(P

OBJECTIVETo establish a characterization system of traditional Chinese medicinal properties in line with modern scientific cognition regularity, in order to reveal properties of traditional Chinese medicines distributed along liver meridian and relations of effects of medicinal properties.
METHODBy collecting data about traditional Chinese medicinal properties recorded in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China (2005 Edition), literature and data about pharmacological effects of traditional Chinese medicines recorded in the Chinese Materia Medica, by using the method of association rules, the authors dug pharmacological effect rules corresponds to relevant medicinal property combinations, with the medicinal property combination of traditional Chinese medicines distributed along liver meridian as the target.
RESULTIt was found that either obvious different pharmacological effects or identical pharmacological characteristics existed in traditional Chinese medicines distributed along liver meridian.
CONCLUSIONWith the aim to explore the correlations between traditional Chinese medicine medicinal properties and pharmacological effects, the authors linked the traditional Chinese medicine theory with modern research achievements, in order to provide the ideas and methods for interpreting mechanisms of medicinal properties.

In order to assess the feasibility of subcutaneous administration of Triptorelin with 6-week intervals for the suppression of pituitary-gonadal axis and changes of clinical signs in girls with idiopathic central precocious puberty (ICPP), 46 girls with ICPP were treated with GnRHa. Triptorelin (Decapeptyl, 3.75 mg) was administered subcutaneously (SC) at 6-weeks intervals or intramuscularly (IM) at 4-weeks intervals randomly for more than 12 months consecutively. During GnRHa therapy, clinical parameters and laboratory data, including height, weight, pubertal stage, bone age, uterine volume and ovarian size, serum levels of luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and estradiol (E2), were monitored and analyzed. It was found that both treatment regimes led to regression of precocious puberty and reversal of secondary sexual characteristics. Breast developments regressed. Uterine volume was decreased after treatment, but there was no statistically significant difference. Mean ovarian volume did not change significantly during treatment. The height velocity was decreased significantly from 6.3+/-1.4 cm/year to 5.8+/-1.2 cm/year in group SC and 6.7+/-1.3 cm/year to 5.4+/-1.0 cm/year in group IM, respectively. The rate of bone maturation was reduced significantly during treatment. The ratio of deltaBA/deltaCA was 1.2+/-0.2 or 1.3+/-0.3 at the onset of therapy and decreased significantly after the treatment to 0.7+/-0.2 or 0.9+/-0.1, respectively. The predicted adult height was increased significantly and progressively during therapy. The levels of serum LH, FSH and E2 returned to the prepubertal condition. No significant side effects of therapy were noted. The most common side effect during SC treatment was that a non-irritating, 1 cm in diameter mass was palpated at the site of subcutaneous injection in the abdominal wall of patients, which disappeared after 6-12 weeks. Two girls had minimal withdrawal vaginal bleeding episodes after the first injection. It was concluded that both IM and SC triptorelin administrations were clinically effective. They induce profound suppression of hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis while stabilizing height velocity, slowing bone maturation and increasing predicted adult height. These results suggest that subcutaneous injection of triptorelin in 6-weeks intervals at a dosage of 3.75 mg be a safe and acceptable regimen for ICPP

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1992;0(05):-
Objective To illustrate the expressional distribution of heat shock protein 70(HSP 70) in the kidney of acute renal injury rats caused by gentamicin. Methods One hundred and fifty rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: group A (normal group), group B [80 mg/(kg?d) gentamicin to be injected], group C [160 mg/(kg?d) gentamicin to be given]. The variations of renal pathology were observed at different time phasess by light scope and electromicroscope. Simultaneously, the expression of HSP 70 in kidney was evaluated by immunohistochemistry. Results HSP 70 distributed in epithelial cells of renal tubular in acute injury rats. The expression of HSP 70 increased markedly from the 6th hour after injection, peaked at the 12th hour and lasted for 48 hours. The expression of HSP 70 in group C was higher than that in group B(P
