2.Comparative analysis of retrieval results from PubMed and Embase.com
Chinese Journal of Medical Library and Information Science 2014;(9):75-77
Objective To recommend the appropriate retrieval tools for scientific researchers and improve their re-trieval efficiency by comparatively analyzing the retrieval results from PubMed and Embase .com.Methods Eight retrieval terms from different subjects were used to retrieve PubMed and Embase .com by subject headings and basic retrieval methods than can automatically transfer their function .Results Six different results were retrieved from PubMed and Embase.com with 8 retrieval terms. Conclusion The recall ratio is higher in Embase.com than in PubMed when they are retrieved by subject headings while the accuracy ratio is higher in PubMed than in Embase . com when they are retrieved by basic retrieval methods than can automatically transfer their function although error transformation occurs in both PubMed and Embase.com.
3.Progress in inflammatory cardiomyopathy
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(2):141-143
Viral myocarditis can cause severe myocardial injury and even acute heart failure, then evolve into dilated cardiomyopathy, known as inflammatory cardiomyopathy. Immune reaction plays a key role in the transformation from viral myocarditis into dilated cardiomyopathy, including virus RNA continuous replication,immune-mediated injury, cellular apoptosis, other cellular immune response , myocardial antibodies and other humoral immune response. In the clinical treatment, besides anti-heart failure and cardiac nutrition, the use of ribavirin, α1-receptor blockers, β-receptor blockers, calcium channel blockers, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors and spironolactone should be emphasized.

8.The clinical value of Doppler ultrasound in evaluation of the treatment outcome of alcoholic liver disease
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(20):3055-3057
Objective To observe the clinical value of doppler ultrasound in evaluation of the treatment outcome of alcoholic liver disease. Methods 212 patients with alcoholic liver disease were selected.Ultrasound and liver function tests were applied before and after treatment, and temperance and medicines were applied for treating. The effects were used to observe the senlitivity of ultrasound applied in evaluation the treatment outcome of alcoholic liver disease. Results Of 212 cases,95 cases were diagnosed as alcoholic fatty liver disease by ultrasound before treatment, and the detection rate before treatment was 96.70%.51 cases were diagnosed as alcoholic hepatitis and 59 cases were alcoholic cirrhosis. After treatment, there were 37 cases had abnormal ultrasound images in 43 patients with alcoholic liver disease, and the detection rate was 86.04%.And 9 cases were diagnosed as alcoholic fatty liver disease by ultrasound,12 cases were diagnosed as alcoholic hepatitis and 16 cases were alcoholic cirrhosis. Conclusion It was noninvasive, cheap, convenient and repeated by using doppler ultrasound, and it was conducive to grasp the change of the condition of the patients for doctors.Ultrasound could be chosen as the preferred method for diagnosis of alcoholic liver disease.
9.Clinical value of combined detection of tumor markers for nasopharyngeal carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma in head and neck
Cancer Research and Clinic 2009;21(6):396-398
Objective To study the clinical value of serum SCC,CYFRA21-1,NSE and CEA for patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and squamous cell carcinoma of head and neck (NHSCC). Methods From Aug 2004 to Sep 2007, the serum levels of SCC, CYFRA21-1, NSE and CEA were detected in 79 NPC and 51 HNSCC before and after radiotherapy. The clinical related factors were analyzed. Results Before treatment, the positive rates of serum SCC, CYFRA21-1, NSE and CEA for patients with NPC were 10.53 %, 46.75 %, 17.5 % and 2.04 %, respectively. The sensitivity of combined detection was 78.95 %. The positive rates for patients with HNSCC were 22 %, 19.75 %, 11.11% and 0, respectively. The sensitivity of combined detection was 36.17 %. The level of SCC was related to staging in HNSCC group. CYFRA21-1 was related to the rote of treatment response in NPC group. Conclusion The sensitivity of combined detection of tumor markers were significantly increased. CYFRA21-1 associated with NPC and SCC with HNSCC were noted in this study.
10.The influence factor analysis of retinopathy of prematurity
Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(8):1033-1035
Objective To investigate the incidence of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) and analyse the associated risk factors of the severe ROP. Methods A total of 703 preterm infants, who met the ROP screening criteria in Department of Neonatology Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Changzhou and with integrated data from July 2011 to July 2014, were analysed in this study. ROP screening was done by ophthalmologist with binocular indirect ophthalmoscope at 4 weeks after birth or chronological age of 32 weeks. According to the screening results they were decided to be treated or not. Data were collected and compared for the severity of ROP in children with different gestational ages and birth weights. Results The detection rate of mild ROP was 5.26%and severe ROP was 0.85%. Birth gestational age<28 weeks and birth weight 500-1 000 g of the children, the risk of severe ROP was significantly increased. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Gestational age and birth weight are risk factors for severe ROP. Early detection and treatment can prevent the blindness of ROP.
