Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect on blood glucose, lipid, and renal function of Bailing capsules combined with calcium dobesilate dispersible tablets in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy. Methods: Totally 216 patients with diabetic ne-phropathy in phase Ⅳ were randomly divided into the control group (108 cases) and the treatment group (108 cases). The control group was given the conventional therapy, and the treatment group was treated with Bailing capsules combined with calcium dobesilate dispersible tablets additionally. The levels of serum creatine (Scr), urean ntrogen (BUN), endothelin (ET-1), β2-microglobulin (β2-MG) ,cystatin C ( CYC) and urinary albumin excretion rate ( UAER) were detected for all the patients before and after the treat-ment. The adverse drug reactions were observed as well. Results:After the treatment, all the indices in the two groups were all obvi-ously decreased (P<0. 05), and those in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0. 05). There were no significant changes in blood glucose, blood lipid and glycosylated hemoglobin before and after the treatment in the two groups (P>0. 05). The adverse drug reactions showed no significant differences between the two groups (P>0. 05). Conclusion:The effect of Bailing capsules combined with calcium dobesilate dispersible tablets is better than that of calcium dobesilate dispersible tablets in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy in phase IV, which can improve the renal function indices with high safety and without notable influence on blood glucose and lipid.

Objective To assess early diagnosis and treatment experience of colorectal injuries.Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 72 patients with colorectal injuries in January 2001 to December 2001.Results In this group of 72 cases,ISS score was 29 ± 18.Forty-five suffered from blunt injuries,27 cases from penetrating wounds,Peritoneal colorectal injuries in 57 cases,extraperitoneal rectal injury in 15 cases.Hemorrhagic shock existed in 28 patients at admission.69 were with multiple injuries.Diagnosis:injury tract probing in 13 cases,digital rectal inspection in 3 cases,microscopy in 1 case,the contrast examination in 2 cases,laparotomy in 53 cases.Treatment:repairment in 46 cases,injuried bowel excision anastomosis in 6 cases,18 cases underwent colostomy.5 cases died postoperatively with ISS score of 43 ± 7,among those 3 cases died of uncontrolled hemorrhagic shock,one of severe craniocerebral injury,one of postoperative SIRS and MODS.Other nonlethal postoperative complications occurred in 13％ (9/67),all were cured.Conclusions Early diagnosis and emergency operation is the key to successful treatment for colorectal injuries.The indication of one stage operation should be strict and accurate.Staged operation should be adopted in cases of extra-abdominal rectal injury.

Objective To analyze the genetic model of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD).Methods The segregation analysis and polygenic multiple threshold model were used to prove the polygenic model and to estimate the heritability and recurrence risk of ADHD in each degree relatives.Results 1. The average heritability of ADHD was (102.47?9.78)%;2.The first-degree relatives of probands were in high risk for ADHD(23.0%)compared with colony prevalence rate(2.6%). The ADHD prevalence of each degree relatives rapidly decreased with the increased magnitude of consanguineous relationship of each degree relatives and ADHD probands. Conclusions The genetic model of ADHD is the most likely polygenic inheritance with major genes, which suggested that the genetic factor might play an important role in the liability variance of ADHD.Apart from the involvement of multiple genes,each gene contributes a small additive effect,and the major genes may be involved as well.

Objective To explore the change of S-100? and glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP)in serum after seizure and medication in children with epilepsy.Methods Serum protein level of S-100? and GFAP were determined by double antibody sandwish enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)in 41 cases with epilepsy and 30 healthy children.The specimen of venous blood were taken by 24 hours after seizure,4 weeks,12 weeks after medicine and their supernate preserved at-80 ℃ after centrifugat.Results Twenty-four hours after seizure,protein level of S-100?,GFAP in serum was significantly higher than that of control group(Pa0.05).Four weeks after medication,protein level of S-100?,GFAP in serum of epileptic group decreased,but still higher than that in control group,and the difference was significant(P

Objective:To explore the effects of Bailing capsules combined with salvianolate on inflammatory cytokines, renal vas-cular endothelia and renal function in diabetic nephropathy inⅣphase. Methods:Totally 60 patients with diabetic nephropathy in IV phase were randomly divided into the control group (30 cases) and the treatment group (30 cases). The control group was given the conventional and salvianolate therapy, and the treatment group was treated with Bailing capsules additionally. The treatment course was 3 months. The changes of serum creatine(SCr), urean itrogen (BUN), creatinine clearance rate (Ccr), ethelin (ET-1), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-a) and C-reactive protein (CRP) were detected before and after the treatment. Results:After the 3-month treatment, SCr, BUN, IL-6, TNF-a, CRP and ET-1 were significantly decreased in the two groups with statistical signifi-cance, and Ccr was significantly increased in the treatment group (P<0. 05), and the changes in the treatment group were significant-ly better than those in the control group (P<0. 05). After the treatment, the blood glucose, blood lipids, glycosylated hemoglobin and the other indicators had no significant changes in the two groups (P>0. 05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the two groups (P>0. 05). Conclusion:The combination of Bailing capsules and salvianolate can re-duce the inflammatory reaction and improve renal vascular endothelial function and renal function in the patients with diabetic nephrop-athy in Ⅳ phase with promising safety and few adverse reactions.

OBJECTIVETo explore an effective method for increasing therapeutic effect on chronic prostatitis.

METHODSEighty-two cases of chronic prostatitis were randomly divided into two groups. The western medicine group of 42 cases were treated with routine western medicine combined with retention enteroclysis of 30 g Danshen (Red Sage Root) decoction; the warming needle moxibustion plus western medicine group of 40 cases were treated with the western medicine of the western medicine group plus warming needle moxibustion at Guanyuan (CV 4), Qihai (CV 6) and Zhongji (CV 3), etc.

RESULTSIn the warming needle moxibustion plus western medicine grbup, 20 cases were cured, 12 cases were markedly effective, 5 cases were effective and 3 cases were ineffective, the total effective rate being 92. 5%; and in the western medicine group, the corresponding figures were 13, 10, 7, 12 cases and 71.4%, with a significant difference between the two groups in the total effective rate (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONWarming needle moxibustion can increase the therapeutic effect on chronic prostatitis.

Objective To investigate the experience of management of abdominal injuries.Methods The data of 521 cases with abdominal injury from June 2005 to May 2012 was analyzed retrospectively.Results In 521 cases,the grade of ISS within 8-65, average 23.6.453 suffered from blunt injuries and 68 from stab penetrating injuries.Hemorrhagic shock appeared in 231 patients (44.3%).The abdominal viscera injuries occurred in 777 cases.The operability of abdominal injuries was 83.5%,associated with polytrauma in 331.The mortality rate was 6.53%(34/521),in death group,the grade of ISS on average 43.6.13 cases died of hem-orrhagic shock,and 7 died of severe craniocerebral injury,4 died of cardiac injuries,3 died of ARDS due to flail chest and Severe pul-monary infection,one died of ACS and nine died of SIRS and MODS.The incidence rate of complication related to abdominal injury was 12.3% (60/487),most of them was infection and bleeding.Conclusion All that abdominal integrity be destroyed should be ex-plored;use of damage control surgery (DCS)and do not importune to decide to surgery on the basis of organ damage grading in e-mergency;perform laparotomy could improve the treatment success rate of abdominal large vessels injury in the emergency room;pay attention to thelethal triadprecursor,and terminate the operation quickly when it happens.

· AIM: To inspect and compare the functional vision of an aspheric intraocular lens (Tecnis) with those of conventional monofocal silicone and acrylic intraocular lens and multifocal intraocular lens (Array).· METHODS: The IOLs were tested in the eye model, which was designed to be optically equivalent to the theoretical eye model. The eye model is a combination of a spherical photographic lens with 35mm focal length ( IOL put in a water cell)and a charge coupled device (CCD) camera. The images constructed by the lenses are observed on a monitor of personal computer and the contrasts of the images are analyzed by using commercial image processing software.· RESULTS: The modulation transfer function of the eye model equals the scale produced by the theoretical eye model. The images constructed by changing the diameter of aperture stop and IOL.· CONCLUSION: The proposed eye model is useful for testing functional vision and for inspecting differences of intraocular lens.

Objective To survey knowledge of the local people's understanding of Brucellosis,and to explore the risk factors for brucellosis infection,and to determine the key issue of next comprehensive health promotion intervention.Methods Two counties,Yanggao and Guangling,which are old endemic areas with Brucellosis in history,and with epidemic rebounding in recent years,were selected.The survey was carried out by two stage stratified cluster sampling method.The questionnaires included respondents' demographic data(gender,age,education level,etc.),Brucellosis (hereinafter referred to as Brucellosis) knowledge of the investigation and behavior and attitude of people toward the measure for control of Brucellosis.Results A total of 5372 people were investigated in two counties of which 62.7％(3362/5372) of farmers.The investigated crowd had low culture level.The awareness of Brucellosis infection route of Yanggao and Guangling counties were 84.03％ (2379/2831) and 333％(847/2541 ).The average awareness of Brucellosis infection route was 18.60％(6001/32 260).In the investigation of knowledge on Brucellosis prevention of the two counties,29％ believed that it was necessary to wear gloves to process flow product,and 70％ of people answered do not know.For farmers on how to deal with dead animals,results showed that 79.1％(664/839) in Yanggao choose to sell dead animals to the market; 61.2％ (267/361) in Guangling choose to kill and bury,there were inappropriate treatment on handling of ill and dead animals in the two counties.Conclusions Spread of Brucellosis is caused mainly due to emphasis on the disease is not enough,and inappropriate handling of dead livestock.Measures like strengthening health education and behavioral intervention,increasing public awareness of the disease prevention and ability to change the incorrect way of life and cognitive concepts,can effectively reduce human infection and the spread of Brucellosis.
