1.Clavicular hook plate combined with suture anchor for the treatment of type Tossy III chronic acromioclavicular dislocation.
China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2014;27(5):430-432
OBJECTIVETo observe the clinical effects of clavicular hook plate combined with suture anchor in treating type Tossy III chronic acromioclavicular dislocation.
METHODSFrom January 2008 to December 2012,18 patients with type Tossy III chronic acromioclavicular dislocation were treated with clavicular hook plate and suture anchor. There were 12 males and 6 females, aged from 20 to 56 years old with an average of 31.5 years. Ten cases were left dislocation and 8 cases were right dislocation. Operation time was 3 weeks to 4 months after injury with a mean of 1.8 months. Functional exercise was adopted 2 weeks after operation. And Karlsson standard was used to evaluate curative effect.
RESULTSAll patients were followed up for 6 to 24 months with an average of 16 months. According to Karlsson standard, 17 cases were excellent and 1 was poor.
CONCLUSIONClavicular hook plate combined with suture anchor can repair conoid ligament and trapezoid ligament in treating type Tossy III chronic acromioclavicular dislocation, and had advantages of simple operation, less trauma, stable fixation, it can obtain satisfactory effects.

Objective To compare the efficacy of 10-days sequential treatment( including rabeprazole, amoxillin, levofloxacin and tinidazole) and traditional trigeminy therapy (including rabeprazole, amoxillin and clarithromy-cin) for the eradication of helicobacter pylori ( Hp). Methods 90 patients with Hp positive who were detected by 14C urea breath test or gastroscope Hp test were randomly divided into two groups: the therapeutic group and the control group. The therapeutic group was treated with rabeprazole, amoxillin at first 5 days, rabeprazole, levofloxacin and tinidazole at the second 5 days, while the control group was treated with rabeprazole, amoxillin and clarithromycin for 10 days. The 14C urea breath test was detected after course of treatment finished in a month. Results The eradication rate of 10 days sequential treatment was 93. 3% and that of control group was 75. 6% ,and the difference between two groups was significant(P <0.05). Conclusion Comparing with traditional trigeminy therapy, the 10-days sequential treatment comprising rabeprazole and levofloxacin could achieve a higher eradication rate of Hp.

ObjectiveTo explore the clinical value of combined detection of serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9) ,carcinoembryonic antigen( CEA), alpha-fetoprotein(AFP) and ferritin(Fer) in the diagnosis of digestive system neoplasm. Methods183 cases of digestive system neoplasm and 40 patients with benign digestive diseases and 40 healthy contrll were selected. The serum tumor marker levels were detected by electrochemiluminescence assay. ResultsIn digestive system neoplasm patients and patients with benign digestive disease, the level of the tumor markers were increased, while the detection rate of four joint detection test than a single tumor marker in digestive system neoplasm were significantly increased. ConclusionCombined detection of serum CA19-9, CEA, AFP, and Fer level, could significantly improve the sensitivity of diagnosis of digestive tract tumors.

Objective To investigate the effects of celecoxib on apoptosis during acute rejection of cardiac allograft in rats. Methods Forty Wistar rats underwent heterotopic heart transplantation in the abdominal portion from disparate SD rats. The cardiac grafts were harvested at 3rd and 5th day after transplantation. The cardiac allograft sections were subjected to the HE staining and in situ terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated deoxyuridine triphosphate nick end labeling(TUN EL) for histopathological rejection grade and apoptotic index(AI).Results Apoptosis mainly occurred in cardiac myocytes throughout allograft rejection.Celecoxib could markedly reduce myocyte apoptosis and abate the damage to the graft tissue. The AI at 3rn and 5th day posttransplantation were(2.35)?(1.51) and(11.35)?(3.46) in control group, and (1.03)?(0.42) and(3.28)?(2.42) in celecoxib group respectively with the difference between them being significant. Conclusions Apoptosis is an important mechanism of cell death in acute cardiac allograft rejection in rats.Celecoxib can apparently inhibit the apoptosis of cardiac myocytes, which may be an important way of its immunosuppressive actions.

Ballistocardiogram (BCG) signal is a physiological signal, reflecting heart mechanical status. It can be measured without any electrodes touching subject's body surface and can realize physiological monitoring ubiquitously. However, BCG signal is so weak that it would often be interferred by superimposed noises. For measuring BCG signal effectively, we proposed an approach using joint time-frequency distribution and empirical mode decomposition (EMD) for BCG signal denoising. We set up an adaptive optimal kernel for BCG signal and extracted BCG signals components using it. Then we de-noised the BCG signal by combing empirical mode decomposition with it. Simulation results showed that the proposed method overcome the shortcomings of empirical mode decomposition for the signals with identical frequency content at different times, realized the filtering for BCG signal and also reconstructed the characteristics of BCG.

National Journal of Andrology 2014;20(7):651-656
Medication has become the first-line option for the management of lower urinary tract symptoms induced by benign prostatic hyperplasia (LUTS/BPH) for its advantages in controlling the symptoms, inhibiting BPH progression, and reducing serious complications and surgical risks. Recent years have witnessed remarkable achievement in the studies of phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5-Is) in the treatment of LUTS/BPH. PDE5-Is can effectively alleviate LUTS/BPH, with even better efficacy when combined with al-ARAs.
