Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(02):-
Objective To explore effect of probiotics on improving the feeding intolerance in very low birth weight infants(VLBWI). Methods Sixty cases of VLBWI were randomly divided into two groups, 30 infants as therapy group, another 30 infants as control group. All infants in two groups were given aggressive intravenous nutrition and enteral feeding with preterm formulars. At the same time, probiotics were administered combined with preterm formulars to infants in therapy group. Milk amount, gastric residual, initial time of enteral feeding, time required for full enteral feeding and body weight on day 21 after birth were all recorded. Results Rate of no gastric residual increased significantly in therapy group compared with that of control group(t=6.24 P

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the content determination of L-epicatechin in Actinidiae arguta. METHODS:HPLC was performed on the column of Kromasil C18 with mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.2%Acetic acid solution(15:85,V/V)at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,detection wavelength was 210 nm,column temperature was 25 ℃,and the volume injection was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range of L-epicatechin was 10.47-167.52 μg/ml(r=0.999 9);RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were lower than 2%;average recovery was 98.07%-101.71%(RSD=1.39%,n=6). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple, accurate and reliable, and suitable for the content determination of L-epicatechin in A. arguta.

OBJECTIVETo verify the existence and significance of calcium/calmodulin dependent serine protein kinase/inhibitors of differentiation 1 (CASK/Id1) pathway in fibroblasts of human keloid.
METHODSImmunofluorescence laser was used to confirm CASK and Id1 protein expression and localization in fibroblasts of the keloid and normal skin. RT-PCR and Western-blot were adopted to analysis the CASK and Id1 expression and differences between keloid and normal skin fibroblasts. The natural combination of CASK and Id1 protein of keloid fibroblasts was tested by immunoprecipitation.
RESULTSCASK and Id1 protein expression were both found in fibroblast cells of keloid and normal skin under normal circumstances. Most of CASK and Id1 were distributed in the cytoplasm and nucleus of fibroblasts. The results of RT-PCR showed that the expression of CASK mRNA in the keloid group was 0.658 +/- 0.024, which was lower than that in the normal control group (1.076 +/- 0.008, t = 11.159, P < 0.05). The expression of Id1 mRNA was 0.497 +/- 0.014, which was higher than that in the normal control group (0.307 +/- 0.017, t = 15.148, P < 0.05). The results of Western-blot showed that the expression level for CASK protein in the keloid group was 0.057 +/- 0.006, which was lower than that in the normal control group (0.168 +/- 0.012, t = 13.524, P < 0.05); the expression of Id1 protein was 0.812 +/- 0.035, which was higher than that in the normal control group (0.368 +/- 0.031, t = 16.356, P < 0.05). The results of immunoprecipitation showed that Id1 could be detected in the CASK precipitate, while CASK also could be detected in the Id1 precipitate. There was a natural binding of CASK and Id1 in keloid fibroblasts.
CONCLUSIONCASK/Id1 signal pathway may be existed and involved in the proliferation of keloid fibroblasts, which is related with the occurrence of keloid.

Spinal biomechanics, especially the range of spine motion, has close connection with spinal surgery. The change of the range of motion (ROM) is an important indicator of diseases and injuries of spine, and the essential evaluating standards of effect of surgeries and therapies to spine. The analysis of ROM can be dated to the time of the invention of X-ray and even that before it. With the development of science and technology as well as the optimization of various types of calculation methods, diverse measuring methods have emerged, from imaging methods to non-imaging methods, from two-dimensional to three-dimensional, from measuring directly on the X-ray films to calculating automatically by computer. Analysis of ROM has made great progress, but there are some older methods cannot meet the needs of the times and disappear, some classical methods such as X-ray still have vitality. Combining different methods, three dimensions and more vivo spine research are the trend of analysis of ROM. And more and more researchers began to focus on vivo spine research. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of the methods utilized recently are presented through viewing recent literatures, providing reference and help for the movement analysis of spine.

Objective To evaluate arch replacement in islet fashion combined with intraluminal-including technique. Methods From Aug.2011 to Mar.2012,19 patients with type A aortic dissection needed arch replacement were selected, whose cephalo-brachial artery and left common carotid artery were intact or left subclavicular artery alone was involved,Sixteen patients were male.Mean age was (49.6 ± 5.7) years.Urgent surgery and red surgery were completed in 13 cases,6 cases and 1 case, respectively. The arch replacement was performed in a modified islet fashion, remaining the adventitia and trimming intima, constituting a common opening with the proximate end of stented elephant trunk in side-to-side manner by using intraluminal anastomosis technique. This common opening was anastomosed with the distal end of the ascending aortic Dacron graft, completed the procedure of arch replacement. If left subclavicular artery was involved by dissection or it was displaced pathologically as to expose difficultly,it should be covered by the stented elephant trunk, and be transplanted to left common carotid artery in end-to-side manner. Finally, the entire Dacron graft was wrapped by remained adventitial coat using including technique, with a shunt connecting to right atrium. Results Mean duration of cardiac pulmonary bypass, aortic cross clamp and selective cerebral perfusion was (215 ±54),(93 ± 18) and (30 ±6) minutes, respectively. In one case with delayed sternum closure due to extensive bleeding, the mean chest tube output in first 24 hours was (926 ±322) mL,the mean duration of postoperative ICU was (78 ±21) hours; none of the patients was reopened for bleeding.Postoperative hypoxemia, transient neurologic dysfunction, and hematosepsis occurred in 3 cases,1 case and 1 case, respectively. One patient needed re-intubation attributing to pulmonary infection. There was no complication of permanent neurologic deficit or postoperative visceral mal-perfusion.All patients survived and were discharged from hospital.Severe complication was not observed at follow-up of 1 to 5 months. Conclusions The modified aortic arch replacement procedure, which adopt islet fashion combined with intraluminal inclusion technique, characterized by its feasibility, safety, reproduction and easy to control bleeding, may be considered as an alternative approach for managing arch disease. Its short-term outcomes were competitive and prospective was promising.
