1.TO PROMOTE EARLY DIAGNOSIS AND MICROSURGICAL TREATMENT OF DISEASES IN VERTEBRAL CANAL
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(12):-
Diseases in the vertebral canal are very common and detrimental to health. The author briefly summarizes their diagnosis and contemporary microsurgical treatment, and points out that great attention should be paid to their early diagnosis and microsurgical treatment, because they are the key measures for a satisfactory outcome.
2.NARROW—GATE CIRCUIT OF ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROPHOTOMETER (NGCAAS)
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
Based on the objective law that the nickel ion beam can wantonly changed. NGCAAS-Ⅱis a new designed circuit used for clinical element microdetecuon on Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS).It effectirely lessons the thermowidening,self- absorption of spectral line and interference of ion line, thus comprehensively improves the practical value of AAS.Its energy is 100 times bigger than the energy of square circuit. Besides,if abtains better signal-to-noise ratio and anti-interference ability.Farther more, it has better sensibility and background-correction.
3.THE USE OF MICROCOMPUTER IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF INTRACRANIAL TUMOR
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
This is a preliminary report using APPLE I type microcomputer to diagnose the nature of intra-cranial tumor (ICT). A computer program was made. All clinical data of 520 cases of intracranial tumors proved by operation and pathology were put into the computer for analysis. The cases were di vided into two groups: the 1st 120 cases were used to make a stepwise regression analysis to get a multiple linear regression equation; and the 2nd 400 cases were tested to prove the reliability of the e quation and diagnose the nature of ICT. The reliability was 85.6%.From the preliminary study, the formula that was derived for clinical purpose to evaluate the nature of ICT depends upon 7 dependent variables. It may be a supplement to evaluate the nature of ICT in early stage.
4.BASIC AND CLINICAL RESEARCHES ON SEVERE HEAD INJURY
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(08):-
Severe head injury is the main cause of disability and death. And it is one of the most concerned topics in military medical research. A great deal of achievements involving basic and clinical researches on the severe head injury have been made in recent years. Many animal models of head injury have been established. The mechanisms of brain edema, secondary brain and diffuse axonal injury have been preliminary elucidated, broadening the understanding in the mechanism of repair and clinical treatment. We analyed and summarized these achievements retrospectively in this article, the aim of which is to improve the clinical treatment result for severe head injury.
5.EXTENSIVE SURGICAL TREATMENT RESEARCH OF BASICRANIAL TUMOR
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(07):-
It is one of the difficulties to treat basicranial tumor by neurosurgery. A brief account of its definition, classification and diagnostic measures is given, and its surgical curative effect is evaluated.
6.Prognosis of gastric cancer in cirrhotic patients
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2012;27(7):572-575
Objective To investigate prognostic factors for gastric cancer patients with liver cirrhosis. Methods The clinicopathological data of 52 gastric caner patients with liver cirrhosis operated on between March 1994 and March 2006 were analyzed retrospectively and the prognostic factors were evaluated.Significant factors were then entered into a Cox regression analysis. Results The postoperative 1-3- and 5- year survival rates for these 52 patients followed up were 78%,44% and 33%.Univariate analysis revealed that age,Borrmann type, histology timue typing, tumor size,pTNM stage,Child-pugh grade, postoperative complications, ascites, and albumin level were statistical significance for survival rate (P < 0.05 ).Multivariate analysis demonstrated that pTNM stage,Child-pugh grade, ascites were independent prognostic factors affecting prognosis( P < 0.05 ).The risk of Child-pugh grade is 3.005,the risk of pTNM is 1.594.Conclusions Compared with pathological disease stage of the gastric cancer, liver function affects more on the prognosis of cirrhotic gastric cancer patients undergoing gastrectomy. In Child-pugh grade B or C cases, postoperative liver dysfunction was the main concern. While those of Child-pugh grade A should undergo standard D2 gastrectomy.
8.Common causes of headache and the treatment
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(06):-
Headache is a common clinical symptom. Some headache disorders belong to secondary category. Many intracranial disorders, such as head trauma, cerebral vascular diseases, intracranial tumors and inflammation, can lead to headache due to mass effect, inflammation reaction, stimulation of vasoactive substances and decreased intracranial pressure.Furthermore, many drugs and other substances, disorders of eyes, nose, ear, mouth, neck and other systemic disorders can also cause headache. Many headache disorders can be determined by detailed case history and physical examination.Blood test, lumber puncture,CT,MRI and other imaging examinations are necessary methods for finding the causes and the treatment of diseases.
9.Percutaneous lumbar diskectomy: the relationship of imaging features with clinical efficacy
Journal of Interventional Radiology 1994;0(03):-
Objective To analize the relationship of imaging findings of lumbar disc herniation with the clinical efficacy after percutaneous lumbar diskectomy (PLD). Methods 52 patients were undergone PLD, includinog 40 cases of disk confined protrusion, 4 with calcification of posterior edge of the disc and posterior longitudinal ligament, 3 severe degeneration, 2 shown narrowing of the intervertebral space, 2 mild herniation and 1 obvious herniation. Results The total effective rate reached 84.6%, including markedly improved 50.0%, moderately improved 34.6% and no change in 15.4%. No complication occurred. Conclusions PLD is an efficient, safety method to treat the protrusion of lumbar intervertebral disc. Imaging is helpful for exploring the indication and evaluating efficacy of PLD.
10.Effect of lipopolysaccharide on the permeability of blood labyrinth barrier in guinea pigs
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(22):-
Objective To investigate the change of the permeability of endotoxin-induced blood-labyrinth barrier(BLB) in guinea pigs. Methods Endotoxin was injected into each tympanic cavity of 27 guinea pigs via superior bulla and Evans blue(EB) was injected via jugular vein before sacrification.Another 27 guinea pigs were served as control by injecting normal saline instead of endotoxin. On 12,24,72 h after injection of endotoxin or normal saline,EB content in BLB was detected after the cochlea were immersed in formamide for 24 h and the pathological change of lateral wall was observed by light microscope and transmission electron microscope. Results The BLB permeability to EB increased in endotoxin-induced cochlea of guinea pigs with prolonged time, and the content of EB was significantly different at 24 h in endotoxin-treated cochlea as compared with that at 12 h and 72 h.No marked morphological changes in the stria vascularis and spiral ligament were observed in control group. The pathologic changes in the lateral wall of cochlea in endotoxin-treated group were inflammatory cell infiltration, blood capillary engorgement, intercellular conjunction cleft. Conclusion The BLB permeability can be increased by endotoxin in the cochlea of guinea pigs, which is mainly caused by the capillary interendothelial cleft and continuous break of endothelial cells in stria vascularis.
