Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2011;29(3):261-264
Background Many surgical techniques are used to improve the postoperative visual acuity for rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD)during recent decade, and scleral buckling surgery is one of these operations.Whether the visual function after operation can be rescued is an important issue. Objective The aim of this study was to analyze the risk factors of influencing the postoperative vision following scleral buckling surgery for primary macula-off RRD. Methods The clinical and follow-up data from consecutive series of 116 eyes of 116 patients received scleral buckling surgery for primary maeula-off RRD were retrospectively reviewed. The relationship of multiple factors, including age, preoperative best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),duration of disease, refractive error, location of retinal hole, number of retinal hole, area and height of retina detachment, management of subretinal fluid and intravitreal gas injection, with visual acuity were analyzed respectively by χ2 test. The correlations among statistically significant factors with postoperative vision were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression analysis.Written informed consent was obtained from any patient before surgery. Results The postoperative vision outcome was found with significantly difference among different preoperative vision groups(P=0.002)and different course (P=0.009).There were significant differences between the groups with different preoperative BCVA(P=0.002)and duration of disease(P=0.009).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the preoperative BCVA was the only variable affecting postoperative visual result(r=0.400,P=0.009).Considerable linear correlation wag seen between preoperative vision and postoperative vision(r= 0.400,P=0.000).The probability with postoperative vision of t>0.4 in the eyes with preoperative≥0.05 was 3 folds more than that of preoperative<0.05(OR=2.992).The better visual outcome after scleral buckling surgery was seen in the eyes with the course≤7 days. Conclusion Preoperative BCVA and duration of disease are the key factors associated with the postoperative BCVA.Scleral buckling surgery should be performed within the first week for primary macula-off RRD.

National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(5):450-454
Spermatogenesis is a complex developmental process in which a diploid progenitor germ cell transforms into highly specialized spermatozoa. During spermatogenesis, membrane remodeling takes place, and cell membrane permeability and liquidity undergo phase-specific changes, which are all associated with the alteration of membrane lipids. Lipids are important components of the germ cell membrane, whose volume and ratio fluctuate in different phases of spermatogenesis. Abnormal lipid metabolism can cause spermatogenic dysfunction and consequently male infertility. Germ cell membrane lipids are mainly composed of cholesterol, phospholipids and glycolipids, which play critical roles in cell adhesion and signal transduction during spermatogenesis. An insight into the correlation of membrane lipids with spermatogenesis helps us to better understand the mechanisms of spermatogenesis and provide new approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of male infertility.

World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2013;(3):387-392
Pseudolaricis Cortex and its adulterants were identified using DNA barcoding technique in this study. The sequences of ITS2 of Pseudolaricis Cortex and its five adulterants including 37 samples were analyzed. Se-quences were assembled using CodonCode Aligner 3.5.7. K2P distances were calculated and NJ tree was per-formed applying MEGA5.0. The ITS2 secondary structure was predicted using the ITS2 database and website. The results showed that the haplotypes of ITS2 regions of Pseudolaricis Cortex were the same as that of the original plant leaves. The inter-specific K2P distances of ITS2 were obviously higher than the intra-specific ones. Sam-ples of Pseudolaricis Cortex were clustered into a single clade in the NJ tree. The secondary structure of ITS2 of Pseudolaricis Cortex was significantly different from its adulterants. Therefore, ITS2 could powerfully discriminate Pseudolaricis Cortex and its adulterants.

China Pharmacy 2015;(28):3896-3898
OBJECTIVE:To build the off-label drug use control system, and to realize automatic prompt for off-label drug use by system when physicians prescribed drugs. METHODS:The module and flow chart of off-label drug use control system were de-signed based on B/S structure. The drugs of the prescriptions were verified one by one in terms of drug indication, drug dosage, age and gender of patient, route of administration, etc. The system prompted automatically off-label drug use when drug use didn’t agree with preset value;at the same time, the management effect of the system was evaluated by taken the amount of attention about antibiotics medical orders as an example. RESULTS:At present,265 kinds of drugs were involved in the system designed by our hospital. Since the system was applied, the system had prompted more than 50 thousand items of off-label drug use prescrip-tions/medical orders, accounting for 0.3% of total. Among the types of off-label drug use,the most number of medical orders were over single dose(745 items),followed by extra-indication(706 items)and over daily dose(671 items). Within 3 months after sys-tem used, the attention numbers of antibiotics medical orders of over daily dose decreased month by month. CONCLUSIONS:Es-tablished off-label drug use control system of our hospital has a stable running and convenient manipulation, and contains powerful practicability. It can monitor off-label drug use of some drugs.

National Journal of Andrology 2015;21(2):175-178
Sulfogalactosylglycerolipid (SGG) is the main glycolipid in male mammalian germ cells, which is selectively and highly expressed in mammalian testes and helps form the lipid bilayer of cell membrane. In the process of spermatogenesis, SGG is involved in the meiosis of spermiocytes. Either deficiency or accumulation of SGG will lead to male infertility. SGG homeostasis in the testis is the premise of normal spermatogenesis. In the process of sperm-zona binding, SGG becomes a component of lipid raft and provides a platform for signal transduction. The SGG binding protein plays a role in sperm-egg recognition and membrane fusion. SGG has a great research value and application prospect in male reproduction.
