In general,the students in Chinese medical universities have technophobia in nuclear medicine experiment,which gives reduction to the cognition and learning of the students.Based on the analysis of the students' psychology and learning,special countermeasures in teaching,therefore,should be used in the conquest of the students' psychological obstacle in order to improve teaching quality of nuclear medicine experiment.
2.Schisandrin B protects against nephrotoxicity induced by cisplatin in HK-2 cells via Nrf2-ARE activation.

This study is to investigate the protection effect of schisandrin B (Sch B) against oxidation stress of HK-2 cells induced by cisplatin and the mechanisms involved. HK-2 cells were cultured and divided into different groups: solvent control group, cisplatin exposure group, positive group, Sch B treatment group. Cell viability and toxicity were evaluated by MTT and LDH assay. GSH level and SOD enzymes activities were also measured. DCFH-DA as fluorescence probe was used to detect ROS level by fluorescence microplate reader. Nrf2 translocation was detected by Western blotting. Real time Q-PCR was used to detect expressions of NQO1, HO-1 and GCLC mRNA level. The results showed that Sch B could significantly inhibit the decline of cell viability induced by cisplatin treatment (P < 0.05) and the protective effect was in a dose dependent manner. Furthermore, Sch B treatment significantly inhibited the increase of ROS level induced by cisplatin and reversed the decrease of GSH level (P < 0.05). When Sch B concentration was up to 5 micromol x L(-1), SOD enzyme activities were also enhanced significantly compared with that of the cisplatin group (P < 0.05). It was shown that Sch B could cause nuclear accumulation of Nrf2 in association with downstream activation of Nrf2 mediated oxidative response genes such as GCLC, NQO1 and HO-1. These results suggested Sch B could protect against the oxidative damage of HK-2 cells induced by cisplatin via the activation of Nrf2/ARE signal pathway.

3.In vitro study of immunosuppressive effect of apoptotic cells.

Recent studies revealed that apoptotic cells are actively involved in immunosuppression and anti-inflammation. After being phagocytosed by macrophages, apoptotic cells can actively regulate cytokines secretion from lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated macrophages, in which the secretion of immunosuppressive cytokines such as interleukin-10 (IL-10) is increased while the pro-inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNFa), interleukin-1beta (IL-1b) and leukin-8 (IL-8) are suppressed. In this paper, we first present evidence that phagocytosed apoptotic cells regulate cytokine secretion of LPS-stimulated macrophages, but also inhibit the activation of T lymphocytes stimulated by ConA. These data suggest that apoptotic cells can alter the biological behavior of macrophages which gain immunosuppressive property.

4.Pathological character and treatment of epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma of salivary gland.

OBJECTIVETo review and evaluate pathologic features and treatment of epithelial-myoepithelial.
METHODSRetrospectively reviewed 14 cases' pathological and clinical materials of epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma of salivary gland. Eight cases origine from parotid gland, 2 cases from hard palate, 3 cases from submandibular gland and 1 case from nasal cavity. Three cases were performed induction chemotherapy preoperation. One case had palliative radiotherapy. Thirteen cases were performed radical surgery and 6 cases had radiotherapy postoperation.
RESULTSTumor arisen mostly from parotid gland and neck lymph node metastasis rate was 14.28% (2/14). The survival rate was calculated with Kaplan-Meier method. The overall 3-, 5- and 10-year survival rate were 67.20%, 45.49% and 17.06%. Its histological characteristics were inner layer composed by adenoid cells and outer layer composed by myoepithelial cells. Immunohistochemical exam show cytokeratin, S-100 and actin reaction positive.
CONCLUSIONSEpithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma easily develops recurrence. It is sensitivity to radiotherapy and chemotherapy to some extent. It is suitable to adopt surgical treatment as primary modality combined with other therapies.

5.Fast Identification Analysis on Chemical Constituents in Mori Folium by Using UPLC-Q-TOF/MS Method

Obejective To conduct fast identification analysis on chemical constituents of Mori Folium UPLC-Q-TOF/MS method.Methods ACQUITY UPLC-Q-TOF/MS spectrometer was used, acetonitrile and water (containing 0.1% formic acid) as mobile phase with gradient elution. The flow rate was 0.3 mL/min, with ESI negative ion mode detection, data analysis with Masslynx4.1 software.Results According to the retention time provided by the mass spectrometry, the exact molecular weight and the secondary mass spectrometry were used to analyze the fragments by referring to literature, and 19 chemical constituents of Mori Folium were identified and deduced.Conclusion The method can analyze the chemical constituents of Mori Folium rapidly, sensitively and comprehensively, and provide the basis for the study of the pharmacological basis of Mori Folium.
6.Analysis of Risk Factors of Hemorrhage During Cesarean Section in Multiparous Women with Advanced Delivery Age

ObjectiveTo analyze the risk factors of hemorrhage during cesarean section in multiparous women with advanced delivery age, and provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and treatment of hemorrhage during cesarean section. MethodsWe retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 1 838 women with advanced maternal age undergoing cesarean section in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from January 2015 to December 2019. According to whether the intraoperative blood loss of the parturient is ≥ 500 mL, they were divided into hemorrhage group and non-hemorrhage group. The correlations of various factors such as basic maternal data, intraoperative factors, placental factors and intraoperative hemorrhage, and obtain the results by multi-factor binary logistic regression analysis independent risk factors were analyzed. ResultsLogistic regression analysis showed that operation time [OR=1.069, 95% CI: (1.050, 1.089), P<0.001], placenta delivery method [OR=3.131, 95%CI: (1.259, 7.782), P=0.014], fetal distress [OR=4.727, 95% CI: (1.191, 18.763), P=0.027], surgical grade [OR=21.494, 95%CI: (6.031, 76.611), P<0.001], anesthesia method [OR=2.904, 95%CI: (1.158, 7.281), P=0.023] and weak uterine contractions [OR=7.255, 95%CI: (4.413, 11.927), P<0.001] were independent risk factors for intraoperative hemorrhage. ConclusionsOperation time, fetal distress, operation level, anesthesia, uterine weakness, and placental delivery are the main influencing factors for bleeding during cesarean section in elderly women who have undergone cesarean section. Clinical measures should be taken to reduce the risk of hemorrhage during cesarean section.
7.Tanshinone IIA protects against triptolide-induced liver injury via Nrf2/ARE activation.

The aim of this study is to investigate the protection effect of tanshinone IIA (Tan) against triptolide (TP)-induced liver injury and the mechanisms involved. Acute liver injury was induced by intraperitoneal injection of TP (1 mg x kg(-1)) in mice. The activities of AST, ALT and LDH in serum and the levels of GSH, GST, GSH-PX, SOD, CAT and MDA in liver tissue were detected. The histopathological changes of liver tissues were observed after HE staining. Nrf2 translocation in liver tissue was detected by Western blotting, and real-time PCR was used to measure the expression levels of GCLC, NQO1 and HO-1 mRNA. The results showed that pretreatment with Tan significantly prevented the TP induced liver injury as indicated by reducing the activities of AST, ALT and LDH (P < 0.01). Tan pretreatment also prevented TP-induced oxidative stress in the mice liver by inhibiting MDA and restoring the levels of GSH, GST, SOD and CAT (P < 0.05). Parallel to these changes, pretreatment with Tan could attenuate histopathologic changes induced by TP. Furthermore, the results indicated that Tan pretreatment caused nuclear accumulation of Nrf2 as well as induction of mRNA expression of antioxidant response element (ARE)-driven genes such as GCLC, NQO1 and HO-1. These results indicated that Tan could protect against TP-induced acute liver injury via the activation of Nrf2/ARE pathway.

8.Evaluation on three short-term animal models of alcoholic liver disease

Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) includes a spectrum of disorders ranging from asymptomatic steatosis, alcoholic steatohepatitis (ASH), fibrosis and cirrhosis. According to epidemical statistics, ALD has been ranked as the second major cause of liver diseases in China. Many animal models have been made in the study of potential therapies. However, in most of the models, the pathological changes are not always consistent with those in patients. There are three widely used short-term animal models of ALD:the acute alcoholic liver injury model, Gao-binge steatohepatitis model and CCl4-alcohol diet induced liver fibrosis model. In this study, we evaluated the pathological responses of these models and compared the responses with the clinical parameters. The liver/body weight ratio was increased and liver histological lesions were induced in alcoholic groups in the three models, while the levels of biochemical parameters and inflammatory factors were affected by different type of treatments. In the acute alcoholic model, the mRNA levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and C-C motif chemokine receptor-2 (CCL2) were surprisingly decreased, which was consistent with the transcriptome profile in patients (P < 0.05), but the serum ALT and AST level, were not changed. In Gao-binge model, both AST/ALT and triglyceride levels were significantly induced by alcoholic consumption (P < 0.05), along with the gene expression levels of hepatic IL-6 and CCL2 (P < 0.05). These data were similar in tendency to the pathological indicators of hepatitis patients. In liver fibrosis model, although histological section indicated obvious fibrotic lesion and little lipid accumulations, other indexes were barely changed. In conclusion, the Gao-binge model induced similar pathological patterns to those of steatohepatitis patients. Gao-binge model might be ideal for study of ALD, especially alcoholic steatohepatitis. In addition, we also found that hepatic gene expression of CCL2 was impacted differently at various stages of ALDs, which can be considered as a potential biomarker.
9.Clinical application of the disposable circumcision suture device in male circumcision.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the safety and efficiency of the disposable circumcision suture device (DCSD) in the surgical treatment of phimosis and redundant prepuce.
METHODSWe randomly assigned 249 outpatients with phimosis or redundant prepuce to be treated with DCSD (n = 129) and by conventional circumcision (CC, n = 120), respectively. Then we compared the safety and efficiency of the two strategies.
RESULTSComparisons between DCSD and CC showed that the operation time was (4.02 +/- 0.69) vs (30.8 +/- 4.05) min, blood loss was (1.07 +/- 1.29) vs (8.72 +/- 2.15) ml, intraoperative pain score was 0.81 +/- 0.81 vs 2.42 +/- 1.15, 24-hour postoperative pain score was 1.84 +/- 1.02 vs 4.99 +/- 1.36, postoperative complication rate was 13. 95% (18/129) vs 9.17% (11/120), wound healing time was (13.99 +/- 9.06) vs (17.48 +/- 3.49) d, satisfaction with the penile appearance was 98.4% (127/129) vs 95% (109/120), and treatment cost was (2215.62 +/- 17.67) vs (576.47 + 15.58) Y RMB. DCSD exhibited obvious superiority over CC for shorter operation time, less blood loss, milder intraoperative pain, sooner wound healing, and better penile appearance, but it also had a higher rate of postoperative complications (P > 0.05) and involved more treatment cost than the latter (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe disposable circumcision suture device affords ideal clinical effects and therefore deserves clinical popularization.

10.Comparison of nutritional status between pancreaticojejunostomy and pancreaticogastrostomy following pancreaticoduodenectomy.

OBJECTIVETo compare the nutritional status between pancreaticojejunostomy(PJ) and pancreaticogastrostomy(PG) following pancreaticoduodenectomy.
METHODSA retrospective clinical analysis was performed on 37 patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD) for duodenal carcinoma and pancreatic non-epithelial tumor with PG(n=19) and PJ(n=18) in the First Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from April 2006 to December 2010. All the patients had a needle catheter jejunostomy inserted at the conclusion of laparotomy. Postoperative early enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition was performed for all the patients. Nutritional status of two groups was compared in body mass index (BMI), serum nutritional parameters such as albumin, transferrin and prealbumin before surgery and on 1, 3, and 6 months postoperatively.
RESULTSThere were no significant differences between PG and PJ groups in operative time, blood loss, pancreatic fistula, perioperative death, or postoperative length of hospital stay. One month after surgery, there were no significant differences in BMI [(17.1±7.0) vs. (19.0±4.8) kg/m(2), P>0.05], albumin [(30.1±0.5) vs. (32.1±1.3) g/L, P>0.05], transferrin [(1.89±0.57) vs. (2.01±0.61) g/L, P>0.05] and prealbumin[(0.18±0.05) vs. (0.18±0.09) g/L, P>0.05]. These parameters were decreased at 1 month after surgery, and gradually recovered to baseline or higher than the preoperative levels at 6 months after surgery. However, the differences were still not statistically significant between two groups.
CONCLUSIONSThe influence of PJ and PG on the postoperative nutritional status are comparable.
