Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2006;26(3):278-80
The potential of 99mTc labeled P1, P4-di (adenosine-5')-tetraphosphate (Ap4A) for imaging experimental atherosclerotic plaques was evaluated in New Zealand white (NZW) rabbits. To label the 99mTc to Ap4A, stannous tartrate solution was used. 99mTc-Ap4A was purified on a Sephadex G-25 column. The radiochemistry purities of 99mTc-Ap4A were 85% to 91%. Biodistribution study revealed 99mTc-Ap4A cleared from blood rapidly. Thirty min after 99mTc-Ap4A administrated on NZW atherosclerotic rabbits, lesion to blood (target/blood, T/B) ratio was 3.17 +/- 1.27, and lesions to normal (target/non-target, T/NT) ratio was 5.23 +/- 1.87. Shadows of atherosclerotic plaques were clearly visible on radioautographic film. Aortas with atherosclerotic plaques also could be seen on ex vivo gamma camera images. Atherosclerotic abdominal aortas were clearly visible on in vivo images 15 min to 3 h after 99mTc-Ap4A administration. 99mTc-labeled Ap4A can be used for rapid noninvasive detection of experimental atherosclerotic plaque.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2015;40(24):4928-4931
All previous literatures about Chinese herbal medicines show distinctive traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) flavors. Compendium of Materia Medica is an influential book in TCM history. The TCM flavor theory and flavor standardization principle in this book has important significance for modern TCM flavor standardization. Compendium of Materia Medica pays attention to the flavor theory, explain the relations between the flavor of medicine and its therapeutic effects by means of Neo-Confucianism of the Song and Ming Dynasties. However, the book has not reflected and further developed the systemic theory, which originated in the Jin and Yuan dynasty. In Compendium of Materia Medica , flavor are standardized just by tasting medicines, instead of deducing flavors. Therefore, medicine tasting should be adopted as the major method to standardize the flavor of medicine.

Objective To compare the diagnostic values of the detection of urine exfoliated cells by FISH and cytology technolo‐gy in bladder urothelial tumor .Methods The combination probes of CSP3/CSP7 and GLPp16/CSP17 were both used in the FISH detection of urine exfoliated cells from suspected patients with bladder urothelial tumor .The urine exfoliated cells were detected by cytology technology at the same time .The sensitivity and the specificity of the two methods were compared .Results The sensitivi‐ty and specificity of FISH for bladder urothelial tumor screening were 92 .5% and 85 .0% respectively ,and those of cytology tech‐nology were 27 .5% and 90 .0% respectively .The sensitivity of FISH was significantly higher than that of cytology technology (P<0 .05) ,however ,the specificity differences between FISH and cytology technology were not statistically significant (P>0 .05) .Conclusion FISH is expected to become a new method for the screening of bladder urothelial tumor .
7.What is significance of subtemporal decompression in the traumatic total anterior circulation infarcts
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(7):391-392
Objective To explore clinical significance of subtemporal decompression in traumatic total anterior circulation infarcts(TTACI).Methods 24 TTACI cases accepted subtemporal decompression were analyzed including CT scan feature, pre operative observation to temporal superficial artery, operative cranial pressure classification and blood circulation in cortical small artery. Results Clinical symptom compared between before and after operation: good 4 cases, unchanged 14 cases, dead 6 cases. CT scan showed infarct areas became smaller in 4 cases, unchanged in 9 cases, larger in 2 cases three months after operation. Conclusion Subtemporal decompression cannot reduce the areas of infarcts and mortality, nor improve neurological function and promote quality of survivor.
8. SCoT analysis on genetic diversity among wild populations of Leonurus artemisia in Henan province
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(8):1022-1026
Objective: To investigate the genetic diversity among the wild populations of Leonurus artemisia in Henan province. Methods: The genetic diversity of 66 individuals in eight representational populations of L. artemisia from four areas of Funiu, Taihang, Dabie, and Tongbai Mountains was investigated by SCoT molecular marker technique. Results: A total of 240 bands were produced by 10 primers, among which 238 bands were polymorphic bands, and the percentage of polymorphic bands (PPB) was 99.17%. The average value of Nei's genetic diversity index (H) was 0.264 2, Shannon's information index (I) was 0.39, genetic differentiation coefficient (Gst) was 0.294 6, and the gene flow (Nm) among populations was 1.197.Mantel Test analysis showed that the significant correlation was found between the geographical and genetic distances among the different populations of L. artemisia (r=0.366 3, P < 0.05). Conclusion: The wild populations of L. artemisia in Henan province have higher genetic diversity. There is a significant correlation between geographical and genetic distances.

Objective: To investigate the effect of dimethyl dicarboxylate biphenyl ( DDB) on the proliferation, apoptosis and PPARγ expression of hepatic stellate cells. Methods: HSC-T6 cells were cultured in 96-well plates and 6-well plates, and after the 24-hour drug treatment, the influence of DDB on the proliferation and apoptosis of HSC-T6 were detected respectively by CCK-8 kit and flow cytometry. Quantitative real-time-PCR ( Q-PCR) and Western blotting were adopted to determine the effect of DDB on the PPARγmRNA level and the protein expression in HSC-T6 cells. Results:DDB obviously inhibited the proliferation of HSC-T6 (P<0. 05) and significantly promoted the apoptosis of HSC-T6 (P<0. 05) at the experimental concentration (8-64 μmol·L-1) when compared with the control group (0 μmol·L-1). The expression of PPARγ in drug-treated HSC-T6 was notably improved. Conclusion: DDB can inhibit the proliferation and promote the apoptosis of HSC-T6 cells by up-regulating the expression of PPARγ.
