The research method may also be used for the study of other TCM syndrome types.
6.Discussion on Academic Thought of Professor ZHAO Zhiqiang Syndrone Differentiation and Treatment of Adenomatous Polyp of Colon
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2017;41(1):75-77,83
Objective]The paper summarizes academic thought of Professor ZHAO Zhiqiang syndrome differentiation and treatment of adenomatous polyp of colon. [Method]By learning from ZHAO Zhiqiang and studying the medical record of adenomatous polyp of colon,sum up professor ZHAO Zhiqiang′ s experiences from etiology and pathogenesis, differential treatment, administered medical herbs and prescription ,and with one case for detailed explanation. [Results] Professor ZHAO thinks that the pathogeny raletes to exopathy, diet, emotion, weakness of the spleen and stomach, physique, smoke poison,influence of other diseases,the key of pathogenesis is phlegm, blood stasis and toxin stagnation, accumulation of intestine, Qi is out of adjustment, the conduction loss of us, He believes that the syndrome diagnosis of the disease is different from others, the syndrome diagnosis should include disease syndrome elements, syndrome elements of disease location and morbid state, disease syndrome elements should need the help of the modern medical endoscope and pathology, and ill treatment to detoxify the anti-cancer variable as the core, supplemented with Ruanjian Sanjie,coordinating zang and fu, modification according to symptoms.[Conclusion] Professor ZHAO's treatment of adenomatous polyp of colon has rich experience and prominent features, it is worth clinical promotion.
7.Electrical bio-impedance method to measure gastric motility function
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2006;0(02):-
During the digest course the electrical property of the stomach alters obviously due to the change in shape, dimension, volume of gastric and the composition of stomach. The regulation of the impedance change is corresponding to the gastric motility and the correlation between them is evident. The impedance technique can be used to monitor gastric motility function no-invasively with high sensitivity and accuracy. Based on introduction of the gastric motility function and its measurement method, the development, key technique and existing problem of the gastric motility measurement using the electrical bio-impedance method are reviewed in this paper.
8.Imidazoline binding sites and receptors related with cardiovascular functions
Ding ZHAO ; Leiming REN ;
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(03):-
I 2 Imidazoline binding sites have been shown to exist on cardiac myocytes of human beings and rat. Both of I 1 and I 2 imidazoline binding sites have been identified on vascular smooth muscle cells of various species. Vascular I 2 imidazoline binding sites may participate in vascular smooth muscle proliferation. The sympathetic nerves supplying the cardiovascular system are endowed with presynaptic inhibitory imidazoline receptors. Being different from most of the imidazolines, moxonidine does not activate presynaptic imidazoline receptors, but SR141716A, which is considered as a selective antagonist at cannabinoid receptors, antagonizes presynaptic imidazoline receptors. It has been shown that imidazolines exhibit antiarrhythmic action. Agamatine, which is endogenous ligand at imidazoline receptors, not only decreases the rate of pacemaker firing in sinoatrial node of animal, prolongs action potential duration on cardiac myocytes of human beings and animal, but also inhibits afterdepolarizations induced by isoproterenol. On the other hand, imidazolines and guanidines inhibit the cardiovascular K ATP channel in a noncompetitive manner, those effects might interfere with the cardioprotective effects of K ATP channel.

Adenoid hypertrophy is a disease that mostly occurs among children of 3-5 years old. It is caused by repeated inflammation and infection of nasopharynx and its adjoin parts, or the adenoid itself, which will finally leads to pathological hyperplasia of adenoid. With so much information we have acquired about this disease, its specific mechanism remains unknown. In recent years, some researches have indicated that adenoid hypertrophy may have something to do with extra-gastroesophageal reflux, in which pepsin plays a very important role, and pepsin will do a series of pathological damages to the upper airway as it reaches the upper respiratory tract. Based on relative domestic and foreign literature, this paper attempts to make a review about the relationship between gastroesophageal reflux and adenoid hypertrophy.

Cancer Research and Clinic 2013;(3):175-177
Objective To investigate the expression of Glil and β-catenin,which are central molecules of Hedgehog and Wnt signaling pathway,in colon cancer tissues and cell lines,and evaluate their relationship.Methods RT-PCR and Western blot were used to determine the expression of Glil and β-catenin in colon cancer tissues and cells.Interaction between endogenous Glil and endogenous 3-catenin was examined using immunoprecipitation method.Results Compared to corresponding normal tissues,the expression of Gli1 and β-catenin raised raising with one accord,the average growth rates were 42.69,72.11 respectively (P < 0.05).In colon cancer cell lines,the expression levels of Glil and β-catenin increased,which were 52.54,17.23,5.54 and 5.30,6.34,2.78 (all P < 0.05).Both of them were enhanced in three Wnt aberrant active cells visibly.The immunoprecipitation result indicated that there was an interaction between Glil and β-catenin in colon cancer cells.Conclusion The expression of Glil and β-catenin rise congruously in both colon cancer cells and tissues,and there is an interaction between them.This interaction between two key components of Hedgehog and Wnt signaling may suggest the possible crosstalk manner in these pathways.
