Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(24):-
Objective To study the long-term neurodevelopment in term neonates with hyperbilirubinemia and explore the predictive value of cerebrospinal fluid neuron specific enolase (CSF-NSE) on long-term neurodevelopment outcome. Methods A mental and psychomotor scale for 0-4 years old was performed to evaluate the intelligence development of 39 neonates with hyperbilirubinemia and 39 randomly selected healthy controls when they were at 3 to 24 months old. The former were tested for the level of CSF-NSE in jaundice climax. Results There was significant difference between 2 groups in total development quotient (DQ) tested at 3 month and 24 month old (P=0, 0.047). It was shown that the DQ scores for fine activity and social behavior were significantly lower in the study group than those in the control group (Pa=0). Furthermore, within the hyperbilirubinemia group, CSF-NSE was significantly associated with DQ of 3 month and 24 month old, while there was not association with TSB. The correlation coefficients were -0.46(P=0.04) and -0.32(P=0.047),respectively.Conclusions Hyperbilirubinemia may influence long-term neurodevelopment of term infants and CSF-NSE can predict this outcome.

In order to improve the teaching reform of higher education systematically and op-erably, and in order to improve the effectiveness of teaching reform, teaching reform in Higher Educa-tion in the micro system engineering and SIMPP analysis method were proposed. With questionnaire survey on classroom learning state of all students from traditional Chinese medicine Grade 2010-2013 of Beijing University as an example, the principle and operation steps of SIMPP analysis method was systematically discussed. According to the students' related behavior pattern and strategy analysis affected by teachers, the analysis of the results of interpretation method and application direction was illustrated. At the same time, through the monograph, nine aspects (academic diligence level, learning effectiveness of self cognition, learning interest, teacher's influence, self-study ability, class atten-dance, learning objectives, curriculum satisfaction, major satisfaction) were analyzed by SIMPP. By modeling the related factors and their relationship, the internal relations between different factors were cleared, and the students' behavior patterns were found, and the corresponding reform measures were designed. Research shows that the concept and methods of teaching reform in Higher Education in the micro system engineering will produce a positive impact on teaching reform, curriculum reform, and the integration of family education and school education.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the effects of exercise (EX), low-fat diet (LFD) and their combination intervention on the tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) expression of insulin resistance in rats.
METHODSOne hundred and thirty male rats randomly assigned to 2 groups: Control (CON)-10 rats consuming a low-fat diet; HFD-120 rats consuming a high-fat diet (HFD). The dietary regimen was sustained for 8 wk, at which point the 40 HFD group rats gaining the most weight were referred to as the obese rats. Glucose tolerance was assessed by an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). During the procedure of OGTT, the blood was drawn for insulin assay (insulin release test). The whole body insulin resistance was assessed by glucose-insulin index. The obese HFD group rats were randomized into one of four intervention groups: HFD-sedentary (HFD-SED), HFD-exercise(HFD-EX), low fat diet-SED (LFD-SED), LFD-EX. Ex rats performed 8-wk exercise training on a motorized treadmill. The CON group had access to low-fat diet for another 8 wk. After 8 wk of exercise and low-fat diet intervention, the OGTT and insulin release test were performed again. To use ELISA technique for detecting TNF-alpha in soleus muscle and adipose tissue.
RESULTSAfter being fed high-fat diet for 8 wk, glucose-insulin index in the HFD group were significantly greater than that in CON group (P < 0.01). After 8-week exercise and low-fat diet intervention, glucose-insulin index in HFD-SED group was significantly greater than that in CON group (P < 0.01). The index in three intervention groups was significantly less than that in HFD-SED group (P < 0.01) . TNF-alpha content in adipose tissue and the soleus muscle for HFD-SED group was significantly greater than that in CON group (P < 0.01). Three intervention groups were significantly less than HFD-SED group (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONExercise and low-fat diet interventions can decrease the TNF-alpha expression in insulin resistance rat.

Salvia miltiorrhiza is a highly valued traditional chinese medicine for the treatment of atherosclerosis-related disorders in china, such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in China. The wilt disease is serious in the culture of S. miltiorrhiza. Wilt disease cause biomass of plant shoots and roots is lessened, active components are decreased. To solve these problems, we research the pathogen causing wilt disease of S. miltiorrhiza. The suspected pathogen is identified by morphology and etiological test. The identification was further confirmed by alignment the sequences of internal transcribed spacer (ITS) amplified by PCR. Our result show the wilt disease of S. miltiorrhiza mostly occurred in July and August, which is hot and wetter. The wilt disease rate of S. miltiorrhiza continuous cropping for one year in S. miltiorrhiz stubble is 10%, but the wilt disease rate of S. miltiorrhiza continuous cropping for three years in S. miltiorrhiz stubble is 60%-70%. The root rot of S. miltiorrhiz caused by the wilt disease, so the wilt disease was mistaken for the rot root in production. Morphological characteristics show the pathogen is Fusarium oxysporum. The sequence of ITS wes determined and found by BLAST shared 99% identity to that of F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum. So it comes to the conclusion that the causing agent of wilt disease on S. miltiorrhiza belongs to F. oxysporum.

BACKGROUND: Cervical pedicle screw fixation is a reliable method for the treatment of traumatic and non-traumatic cervical instability and cervical disc removal and fixation; however, the operation risks and the failure rate of screw insertion are still high. At present, the digital navigation template with digital computer technology, used in the department of orthopedics, has the advantages of accurate screw insertion and a small error in the screw insertion depth. OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of the digital navigation template combined with cervical pedicle screw implantation. METHODS: This is a prospective, single-center, self-controlled, clinical trial. Thirty-two patients with cervical spondylosis will be recruited from the Harrison International Peace Hospital, Hebei Province, China. Before surgery, a three-dimensional (3D) navigation model of the cervical vertebrae will be designed by 3D reconstruction. The navigation template will be generated by 3D printing. The cervical pedicle screws will be implanted according to preoperatively designed models and the screw positions will be observed by computerized tomography (CT) after surgery. The patients will be followed up for 40 months. The primary outcome measure is the excellent and good rate of screw position 40 months after implantation. The secondary outcome measures include the Visual Analog Scale score, American Spinal Injury Association classification, cervical X-ray and CT images before implantation and 40 months after implantation, and the incidence of adverse reactions 40 months after implantation. The protocols have been approved by the Ethics Committee of the Harrison International Peace Hospital in China (approval number: 20120630). The study protocol has been conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki, formulated by the World Medical Association.Written informed consent will be obtained from all participants. The recruitment of subjects will begin in December 2017. Samples and data will be collected from December 2017 to April 2019. Outcome measures will be analyzed in October 2020. This trial will be completed in November 2020. The results of the trial will be reported in a scientific conference or disseminated in a peer-reviewed journal. This trial has been registered in the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (registration number: ChiCTR-ONC-17013481). DISCUSSION: We will verify a high success rate of cervical pedicle screw implantation using the digital navigation template. The operation is simple and quick, with good efficacy and safety.
