Objective:To introduce the method of laparoscopy combined with endoscopy in the treatment of gastroenterological surgery, and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of endoscopic lesion localization. Methods:A retrospective study was designed to analyze the data gathered at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from April 2003 to June 2008,in which there were 48 operations performed by laparoscopy combined with endoscopy, including 28 gastrectomies and 20 colectomies. Results:All the 48 operations were accomplished successfully without conversion. All the lesions were located accurately with no intraoperative complications related to endoscopy. There were no postoperative complications like anastomosis leakage, incisional or intraabdominal infection. Conclusions:The combination of laparoscopy with endoscopy can raise the accuracy of lesion localization and decrease the possibility of laparotomy.

AIM To observe the effects of rhIL 10 on psoriatic models and immune function in mice. METHODS The anti psoriatic effect of rhIL 10 was studied by using the models of vaginal epithelium and tail scales of mouse. ConA induced proliferation and production of IL 2 and IFN ? by T lymphocytes, LPS induced production of IL 1 and TNF ? by the peritoneal macrophages and the activity of NK cells, LPS induced proliferation of B lymphocyte were determined. RESULTS The result showed that rhIL 10 (5, 20 and 80 ?g?kg -1 ?d -1 ,sc) could significantly inhibit the mitosis of vaginal epithelial cells in mice treated with estrogen. No abnormal changes of nucleolus and organelle were found under electronic microscope. rhIL 10 facilitates development of granular cell layers in mice tail scales. There were for 2 to 3 granular cell layers and bigger granular cells in scales under electronic microscope. CONCLUSION The anti psoriatic effect of rhIL 10 is related to inhibiting hyperplasia of epidermal cells and promoting the formation of granular cells and possessing anti inflammatory and immunomodulatory activity.

How to remove the well fixed cement or cementless prosthesis and get a completely distal cement removal in the rTHR are critical to the outcome of revision. Because of higher rate of union, excellent intraoperative exposure, and adjustment of abductor tension, ETO has been widely applied to rTHR and complicated primary THR by foreign scholars. Furthermore, this technology has wide indications, very few contraindications, high cure rates, and low complications rate. ETO turns out to be a safe and effective revision technology. In the article, the indication, contraindication, complications and advantages of this technique were reviewed.

OBJECTIVETo investigate clinical effects of arthroscopy in the treatment of medial meniscal cyst.
METHODSFrom June 2011 to January 2013, 7 patients with medial meniscal cyst were treated with arthroscopy. There were 3 males and 4 females, ranging in age from 27 to 63 years old, with a mean age of (43.93±2.10) years old. The cysts have been discovered for 3 to 30 months, with a mean time of (10.6±1.3) months. All the patients complained of knee pain, especially in the medial joint gap. The Pisani sign, Caklin sign and medial McMurray sign were all positive. Preoperative MRI examination confirmed the diagnosis. Lysholm score changes and clinical efficacy were observed through a six-month follow-up.
RESULTSThe postoperative Lysholm scores were all significantly higher than the preoperative scores. According to Sarimo standard, 6 patients got an excellent result, and 1 good.
CONCLUSIONArthroscopic treatment of medial meniscal cyst has replaced the traditional method, which could retain the normal meniscus as much as possible and repair the meniscus injury simultaneously, as well as get a good curative effect and a good recovery of knee function. This method is worthy of clinical application.
