Radionuclide imaging was widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of skeletal diseases. It is of early diagnostic value in metastatic osteosarcoma, osteomyelitis and Paget's disease, and early affirmative value in vitality of transplanted bone.It also demonstrates a significant analgesic effect on theosteosarcoma and metastatic osteosarcoma.

Objective To study the expression of PTEN,Fas and DCR3 in human gastric cancer and evaluate their effects on carcinogenesis, cell proliferation, invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma,as well as clinical significance. Methods The expression of PTEN,Fas and DCR3 were detected by immunohistochemical method (streptavidin-peroxidase) in the tissues of 75 primary gastric carcinomas and 15 gastric ulcers. Results The positive expression rate of DCR3 in gastric carcinoma tissues was significantly higher than that in normal tissues, and the expression of PTEN and Fas was obviously lower than that in normal tissues (P<0.01).The expression of DCR3 was negatively correlated with Fas and PTEN respectively (r=-0.720,P<0.001; r=-0.336,P<0.001).There was a positive correlation between PTEN and Fas.The expression of PTEN,Fas and DCR3 was closely correlated with lymph node metastasis, clinical stage, histological differentiation grade and tumor depth of gastric cancer, but not related to sex,age and tumor size (P>0.05).Conclusion PTEN,DCR3 and Fas have mutual restrictive relationships in the process of invasion and metastasis in gastric cancer.Detecting the expression of PTEN,Fas and DCR3 in gastric cancer is helpful to judge the malignant biological behavior of gastric cancer at a different angle, which may be considered as reliability index in clinic diagnosis, judging curative effect and monitoring the prognosis of gastric carcinoma.

Objective To investigate the role of AGE-RAGE system on intimal hyperplasia in autogenous vein graft of diabetic rats. Methods The experiments were performed on 40 male Sprague-Dawley rats which divided into two groups:diabetes group and control group.Autogenous vein graft model was established in all rats.Specimens were harvested 7 days and 14 days after surgery for histological examination, and RAGE,NF-?B p65 and VCAM-1mRNA were measured by semi-quantitative reverse transcription-PCR.Western Blotting and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the protein expression of RAGE,NF-?B p65 and VCAM-1.At the same time, the levels of serum AGE were tested. Results Compared with non-diabetic rats of control group, the intimal hyperplasia of vein graft in diabetic rats obviously increased(P

Objective To investigate short-term clinical effect of anterolateral minimally invasive approach of total hip replacement. Methods A total of 35 patients treated by total hip replacement was divided into A and B groups.Group A used anterolateral minimally invasive approach, and group B used standard posterior Moore approach. The clinical data of operation time, amount of bleeding, blood transfusion volume, component position,Harris hip score, and complications of two groups were statistically compared. Results In terms of operation time, group A had certain disadvantages than group B.No significant difference was found between two groups in terms of operation time, annount of bleeding, blood transfusion volume, component position,Harris hip score, and complications. Conclusions In total hip replacement, anterolateral minimally invasive approach was safe and effective compared to standard posterior Moore approach.Doctors should choose their familiar surgical approach in operation.

Objective To investigate the misdiagnosed vascular vagovagla reflexes (VVR) and the treat-ments during interventional therapy for peripheral anerial disease (PAD). Methods The clinical data of 5 patients with VVRs from 128 PAD patients undergoing interventional therapy so as to analyse the causes for the misdiag-noses and then render pertinent treatment. Results The VVR in the 5 patients belonged to mixed type and all cas-es occurred after intervention and initially misdiagnosed. All patients were recovered well without adverse reaction. Conclusion Intervention therapy for PAD may be susceptible to VVR. Prompt management may bring in a good prognosis when VVR happens.

Objective To study the influence of bFGF gene transfected bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) on the inflammatory cytokines of COPD rat. Methods The BMSCs were separated from SD rat and cultured and then bFGF gene was imported to BMSCs by liposome transfection method. The samples were prepared into six groups: normal control group, COPD group (A), BMSCs group (B), pcDNA3.1-BMSCs group (C), bFGF-pcDNA3.1-BMSCs group (D), and bFGF group (E). The expressions of TNF-α and IL-1β by QRT-PCR were detected. Results Compared with COPD group, TNF-α and IL-1β genes from groups B to D dropped significantly (P < 0.05). The changes of TNF-α and IL-1β genes among groups B to D showed no significant difference (P > 0.05). Conclusion BFGF transfected BMSCs, sample BMSCs and pcDNA3.1 transfected BMSCs can inhibit the expression of inflammatory cytokines of TNF-α and IL-1β, but there is no obvious advantage in comparison to bFGF transfected BMSCs and sample BMSCs in respect of inhibiting the expression of inflammatory cytokines of TNF-α and IL-1β.

Objective:To assess the effects of ohmefentanyl(OMF),a potent and selective agonist for ? opiate receptor,on respiratory function in chronic hypoxic rats. Methods:Totally 86 healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group ( n =20) and chronic hypoxic model group( n =66).The chronic hypoxic rat model was established by intravenous injections of papain once a week for 6 times.Rats in normal control group received OMF injection( n =10) and artificial cerebrospinal fluid(aCSF) injection( n =10).Rats in chronic hypoxic group were further divided into cerebroventricular administration group( n =48) and nucleus tractus solitari(NTS) administration group( n =18).Rats in cerebroventricular administration group received naloxone( n =12) and OMF( n =12),and the other 24 rats were taken as control.Rats in NTS group received OMF( n =9) and aCSF( n =9).The respiratory rate(RR) and tidal volume(V T) were determined 5,15,30,45 and 60 min after injection. Results:Intracerebroventricular administration of OMF in normal rats resulted in a significant decrease in RR and V T ( P

Objective To discuss the expansion model of the eyeball and investigate the morphologic characteristics of high-my- opic eyeball through the dimensional measurement in high-myopia and emmetropia by MRI. Design Case controll study. Participants Thirty-two emmetropes (60 eyes) and 33 high myopes (60 eyes) were enrolled, without eye diseases and history of ocular surgery or in- jury. Methods 60 high-myopic eyes and 60 emmetropic eyes were measured with MRI (I.5T,PHILIPS) to get the data of three inner ocular dimensions, intraocular volume and the volume of different parts. Main Outcome Measures Three dimensions and volumes of eyeballs. Results The average value of axial (28.16?2.80 mm), horizontal (22.87+1.23 mm) and vertical length (23.40?0.99 ram) of high-myopic eyes were much bigger than those of emmetropic eyes(P=0.000), especially the axial length( with difference of 5.38 mm); The axial length was correlated with refractive error (0.36 mm/D,r~2=0.88, P=0.000). The average value of the whole ocular volume (7. 46?0.89 ml) and vitreous volume(6.90?0.8 ml) of the high myopic eyes were bigger than those of emmetropic eyes(P=0.000), while ante- rior segment volume and lens volume were about the same as that of emmetropic eyes (P=0.220, P=0.630). Conclusions The three di- mensions of high-myopic eyes were significantly longer than that of emmetropic eyes. In high myopes, the increased vitreous volume lead to the increase of the whole ocular volume. There may be two models in the ocular expansion of high myopia: global expansion and axial elongation expansion. More serious refractive error cause more obvious expansion in axial elongation.
