1.Study on the relationship between Acute Coronary Syndrome and serum homocysteine
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(16):2432-2433
ObjectiveTo discuss the relationship between serum homocysteine (Hcy) level and severity of acute coronary syndrome(ACS) through measuring the level of serum Hey in the patients with ACS.Methods95 patients who were diagnosed ACS were divided into two groups:40 cases of unstable angina(UA) and 55 cases of a cute myocardial infarction(AMI).30 individuals were chosen as normal control(NC).In addition, according to the results of coronary angiography, the same 95 patients were further divided into three subgroups which were single-vessel disease( 28cases),double-vessel disease ( 36cases ) and multi-vessel disease ( 31 cases ).Level of serum Hcy was measured in all groups.ResultsSerum Hcy level of ACS patients was significantly higher than NC group( P < 0.01 ).The level of serum Hcy in AMI group was significantly higher than that in UA group( P < 0.05 ).The Hcy level in the multi-vessel disease group,double-vessel disease group and single-vessel disease group were increased in turn, and the difference of pairwise comparison was statistically significant ( P < 0.05 ).ConclusionThe serum Hcy level has rela tionship with the severity of coronary lesions and is directly proportional to the number of coronary artery lesions. The result suggests that the level of serum Hcy maybe play an important role in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of ACS.
4.Impact of nursing intervention on the secondary infection in chemotherapy of elderly patients with lung cancer
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;(18):48-49
Objective To investigate the effect of intensive nursing intervention on the secondary infection in chemotherapy of elderly patients with lung cancer. Methods 168 cases of elderly lung cancer patients whose neutrophil ≤ 1.0×109/L during chemotherapy were randomly divided into two groups, namely, the intensive care group and the control group, with 84 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing of infection prevention, while the intensive care group was given intensified nursing for infection prevention.A contrastive analysis was conducted in terms of the incidence, clinical characteristics and the duration of antibiotic treatment of the two groups of patients with secondary infection. Results The secondary infection rate of the intensive care group was lower than that of the control group during chemotherapy. What's more, the duration of fever and treatment of the intensive care group was shorter than that of the control group, hence the patients were safe during infection period. The difference was statistically significant. Conclusions Strengthening the nursing intervention can reduce the incidence rate of secondary infection in aged patients with lung cancer, increase the tolerance of patients to chemotherapy and ensure the successful completion of the chemotherapy cycle, prolong the life span of the patients with an improved quality of life.
7.Analysis of antibiotics utilization in patients of acute upper respiratory infection in a outpatient department
Clinical Medicine of China 2011;27(10):1039-1040
Objective To understand the utilization of antibiotics for acute upper respiratory infection through retrospectively analyzing the prescription in the outpatient department in a whole year, therefore to improve the rational drug using in primary healthy institutions. Methods Prescriptions from the outpatient department,Jan.2010 to Dec.2010 were managed in Excel software and the utilization was analyzed. Results In a total of 6101 prescriptions,2462(40.35% ) were for upper respiratory infection.Of the 2462 prescriptions,1962(79.69% )used antibiotics. The amount of prescriptions and the rate of antibiotics used were significantly higher than those for other infection diseases. Conclusion The investigation shows antibiotics abuse in primary healthy institution has become a severe problem. While the stuff in primary healthy institution are trained for some specific aims, the promotion should be spread to let doctors and patients know the danger of antibiotics abuse.
8.Clinical study on joint surgery of anterior-posterior in the treatment of vitreoretinal diseases complicated with cataract
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(2):205-206
Objective To study on the effect of joint surgery of anterior-posterior in the treatment of vitreoretinal diseases complicated with cataract. Methods 78 vitreoretinal diseases patients complicated with cataract(86 eyes)were recruited. All the cases accepted vitrectomy and cataract extraction at the same time. The vision improving situation and postoperative complications of the treatment were analyzed. Results After the joint surgery of anteriorposterior, the visual improvement rate was 88.4%(76/86 eyes),and with unchanged vision in 7.0%,and decreased vision in 4.7%.In 4 patients with decreased vision,1 case was a secondary neovascular glaucoma, and 2 cases were macular hemorrhage or hiatus,1 case was a retinal detachment. In phase Ⅰ,72 eyes did not implant artificial lens,63 eyes(87.5%)got postoperatively improved vision, and 14 eyes implanted artificial lens, and all of them got improved vision(100.0%),and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The total postoperative complication rate was 10.5%(9/86 eyes). Conclusion Joint surgery of anterior-posterior in the treatment of vitreoretinal diseases complicated with cataract had determined curative effect and lower complication rate, which deserved further study and widely using.
9.Comparative study of bag-valne-mask ventilation and endotracheal intubation in the first aid
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(5):663-664
Objective To compare the effect of bag-valne-mask ventilation(BVM)and endotracheal intubation in the first aid. Methods 50 cases of sudden cardiac arrest(SCA)patients who received first aid were selected and divided into two groups by the breathing methods. The average time of intubations oxygen saturation and the restoration of spontaneous circulation(ROSC)were recorded. Results The rate of ROSC in two groups was not statistically significant. But the BVM group's breathing building time was much faster than the other group. Conclusion There was no difference of successful rate between two cardiopulmonary resuscitation methods in first aid of cardiac arrest.
10.Observation on the effect of montelukast combined with alpha-interferon and budesonide in the treatment of children with upper respiratory tract infection
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(18):2740-2742
Objective To explore the efficiency of montelukast combined with alpha-interferon and budesonide in the treatment of children with upper respiratory tract infection. Methods According to the digital table,120 children with upper respiratory tract infection were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, each group 60 cases. The control group was given anti-infection treatment, rehydration, controlling cough and other conventional treatment, and the observation group on the basis of the control group was given montelukast combined alpha-interferon,budesonide.The treatment course was 5d.The time of fever, coughing and wheezing disappeared and efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The effective rate in the observation group was 80.0%,which was significantly better than that of the control group(53.0%) (χ2 =27.87,P < 0.01).The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.0%,which had no significant difference with that of the control group (90.0%)(χ2 =1.92,P > 0.05).The heating time and the cough last time of the observation group was (1.74 ± 0.75) h,(2.92 ± 0.56) h,respectively, which were significantly shorter than those of the control group [(2.82 ± 0.64) h,(4.13 ± 0.54)h] (t =3.142,3.143,all P < 0.01).Conclusion Montelukast combined with alpha-interferon and budesonide in the treatment of children with upper respiratory tract infection is effective and safety, which has little adverse reactions and is worthy of promotion and clinical application.
