1.FHIT gene and tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2013;40(8):563-566
The human fragile histidine triad (FHIT) gene is a tumor suppressor gene, which is located at chromosome region 3p14.2.The fragile site FRA3B of the FHIT gene is the most unstable site.FHIT can promote apoptosis, and inhibit cell proliferation and tumorigenesis.High methylation status, loss of the various sections of the FHIT gene, changes of the fragile site FRA3B and abnormalities of FHIT transcripts can result in gene afunction, and then promote the development and progression of various types of cancers.Transfecting wild-type FHIT into tumor cells with low or lacking endogenous FHIT expression can induce apoptosis. The combined treatment with other genes may provide a new insight for the treatment of tumors.

International Eye Science 2017;17(10):1936-1938
AIM: To explore the effects of mindfulness- based stress reduction ( MBSR ) on anxiety, compliance and visual function in primary open angle glaucoma( POAG) patients. ·METHODS:Totally 64 patients, who were treated with topical medication and were diagnosed with POAG in the department of ophthalmology at Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital, were randomly divided into the intervention group ( n=32 ) and the control group ( n=32 ) . Both groups received conventional mental health education while the intervention group was complemented with MBSR intervention. The patient's anxiety status, compliance rates and MD before and after the intervention were evaluated. ·RESULTS:After the MBSR intervention, the scores of HAMA of the intervention group were significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0. 01). The compliance of patients in intervention group was higher than that of the control group (P<0. 01). ·CONCLUSION:The MBSR intervention can effectively relieve the anxiety of patients and improve the compliance in primary open angle glaucoma patients. It can be promoted and put into clinical application.

International Eye Science 2014;(8):1529-1530
AIM: To evaluate the use of 23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction on severe ocular injury.
METHODS: Fifteen patients with ocular injuries including the corneal and scleral rupture associated hyphema, vitreous hernia in anterior chamber, traumatic lens rupture, lens subluxation, applied 23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction.
RESULTS: The anterior ocular media of early postoperative became transparent quickly. No exudative lemma and no complications were found relate to puncture incisions after operations.
CONCLUSION:23G minimally invasive vitreous cutting system can be used in the first stage of anterior segment reconstruction on sever ocular injury. It can reduce iatrogenic injury, operative complications and inflammatory response, also can shorten therapeutic time and create favorable conditions.

Aim To elucidate the relationship between IgG antibodies and penicillin allergy. Methods Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to examine 8 kinds of specific IgG antibodies, including major antigenic determinants:benzylpenicilloyl(BPO),ampicilloyl(APO),amoxicilloyl(AXO)and phenoxomethylpenicilloyl(PVO),and minor antigenic determinants:benzyl-penicillanyl(BPA),amoxicillanyl(AXA),ampicillanyl(APA)and phenoxomethylpenicillany(PVA),in the sera of 241 patients with penicillin allergy. Results Except BPA-IgG,levels of 7 kinds of antigenic determinants IgG antibodies were significantly higher than those of control group(P

Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2013;(11):1367-1370
[Objective]Summary of massage and composite therapy efficacy in the treatment of buttock epithelial neuritis, to explore the effective treatment of buttock epithelial neuritis.[Methods] To summarize the recent ten years related data on reports of buttock epithelial neuritis massage and combined thera-py.[Results] Single massage treatment can play a certain effect, but compared with the complex therapy, combined therapy effect is more remarkable. Com-bined therapy is the treatment of massage, acupuncture, acupotomy plus drug injection. Data showed that in addition to massage plus smal needle knife therapy and other complex therapy, the total effective rate was 100%.[Conclusion] Inflammation of buttock epithelial neuritis massage and composite thera-py is stable, and suitable for al ages, with fast recovery, less side effect, it can offer reasonable evidence-based foundation for clinical treatment.

Objective To describe clinical characteristics and anti-infective treatment of Listeria monocytogenes(L.monocytogenes)meningitis.Methods Clinical manifestations and cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)examination results of 6 patients with L.monocytogenes meningitis in a hospital were analyzed retrospectively.Evaluation methods were developed according to relevant guidelines and literatures,anti-infective treatment and prognosis of patients with L.monocytogenes meningitis were evaluated. Results Two of 4 adults with L.monocytogenes meningitis had triad of fever, stiff neck, and altered mental status, the mean white blood cell count(WBC)of the initial CSF detection was 997×106/L,CSF/blood glucose ratio was 0.32,CSF protein was 1.43g/L;the other 2 neonates had fever, epilepsy, and hyponatremia,WBC were both>1 000×106/L,CSF protein were both>1 g/L,CSF/blood glucose ratio was<0.5.Of 6 patients, none were treated with appropriate initial empiric anti-infection therapy, confirmed by CSF or blood culture,5 cases were treated with ampicillin anti-infective therapy,1 used compound sulfamethoxazole due to penicillin allergy;1 neonate died,1 elderly patient was with moderate disability, the remaining 4 cases were all recovered and discharged from hospital. Conclusion Clinical manifestations and CSF findings of L.monocytogenes meningitis are not different from other purulent meningitis, commonly used antimicrobial agents for the treatment of purulent meningitis are not sensitive to L.monocytogenes, which should be paid attention in clinic.

Objective To explore the clinical.significance of serum anti-lysosomal associated membrane protein-2 (LAMP-2) antibody in the pathogenesis of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AASV) by investigating the relationship of its levels and AASV.Methods Sera from twenty patients with AASV and twenty healthy controls were collected.Serum anti-LAMP-2 antibody was detected using commercial enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits.Anti-LAMP-2 antibody levels between the two groups were assessed using the t test, the correlation between anti-LAMP-2 antibody levels and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR),C-reactive protein (CRP) was assessed by Spearman's rank correlation test, the correlation between anti-LAMP-2 antibody levels and the Birmingham vasculitis activity score(BVAS),hemoglobin (Hb),albumin (Alb) was assessed by Pearson's rank correlation test. Results ① The serum level of anti-LAMP-2 antibody in patients with AASV [(3714±1446) pg/ml] was higher than that in the healthy controls [(174±43) pg/ml] (t=10.94,P<0.05).The serum level of Hb [(99±30) g/L] and Alb [(27±5) g/L]in patients with AASV was lower than that in healthy controls [(138±14) g/L,(44±3) g/L] (t=5.27,t=13.04,P>0.05).② The level of anti-LAMP-2 antibody in AASV was positively correlated with BVAS (r=0.669 9,P<0.05),and was not found elevated compared with ESR,CRP,Hb and Alb (P>0.05).Conclusion ① AntiLAMP-2 antibody is involved in the pathogenesis of AASV.② Anti-LAMP-2 antibody is correlated with the activity of AASV,it may be an indicator of AASV disease activity.
