1.Streptococcus pneumoniae infection in children: vaccine implications
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2010;17(5):392-396
Streptococcus pneumoniae is one of the most common causes of respiratory tract infections in children, and also the major pathogen leading to severe pneumonia, complications and even death. In recent years, antimicrobial resistance of streptococcus pneumoniae is growing and widespread, resulting in the increasing burden of disease, and also bring serious challenges to clinical diagnosis and treatment. The emergence and dissemination of vaccines against Streptococcus pneumoniae in disease prevention and control has a bright future.
2.Detection of intracellular calcium concentration and apoptosis in Thapsigargin-induced human colon cell line SW480
Journal of Chinese Physician 2009;11(3):334-335
Objective To investigate the mechanism of Thapsigargin in the proliferation of SW480 and provide experimental basis for development of anti-signaling therapy for patients with colon cancer by detection of intracellular calcium concentration in Thapsigargininduced human colon cell line SW480,.Methods Level of[Ca2+]was measured by fluorescence measurement with fura-2/AM,a fluorescent index of calcium. The suppression rate of SW480 cells was calculated by MTY assay. Results Thapsigargin promoted the levels of [Ca2+]from(133.26±5.17,197.46±4.62)to(436.63±5.21,766.41±3.12),and increased the suppression rate from(10.67±5.28)to(31.46±7.21).When W7 Was combined used with Thapsigargin,no significant changes were found in the levels of[Ca2+]and increment of the suppression rate.Condusion Thapsigargin might promote the proliferation of SW480 cells and lead to apoptosis.but the signaling pathway still remain to he studied.
3.Study of unification of endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondrium in fetal rat cerebral neuron apoptosis induced by intrauterine distress
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(06):-
Objective:To evaluae the unification of endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondrium in fetal rat cerebral neuron apoptosis induced by intrauterine distress. Methods:Fetal rat intrauterine distress model was established. The samples were randomly divided into normal group and ischemia-reperfusion group(IR). Expression of GRP78,caspase-9,caspase-12,and cytoron C protein were detected by western blot technique. Results:The expression of GRP78 on corresponding time in IR group was significantly higher than that in normal group. And it reached the maximum at 3h of reperfusion. The expression of GRP78 reduced step by step as reperfusion time extended. The expression of caspase-9 and caspase-12 at corresponding time in IR group were significantly higher than those in normal group. Their expression increased rapidly and reached the maximum at 12h of reperfusion. The expression of cytoron C in kytoplasm at corresponding time in IR group was significantly higher than that in normal group and reached the maximum at 12h of reperfusion. Conclusion:The synergistic effect of endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondrium plays an important role in fetal rat cerebral neuron apoptosis induced by intrauterine distress.
6.Quantitative Determination of Chlorogenic Acid in Xiaoer Jiebiao Oral Liquid by HPLC
Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 2000;0(05):-
The content of chlorogenic acid in Xiaoer Jiebiao Oral Liquid was determined by HPLC.ODS column was applied.Mobile phase was methanol_1% acetic acid(25∶75),wavelength of detector was 328nm.Samples were extracted with methanol on ultrasonic vibrator. In this method, the linera range of chlorogenic acid is 0.232 ~ 1.16 ?g,the correlation coefficient is 0.9994 ,and the mean recovery is 98.44%. The results showed that this method is simple, quick and reproduciple.

8.Application of bronchoalveolar lavage in children with respiratory disorders
International Journal of Pediatrics 2015;(4):477-480,481
Bronchoalveolar lavage ( BAL) has been widely used in pediatric respiratory system disea-ses,and it has been comfirmed the value of the diagnosis and treatment in lung diseases. Collected bronchoalveo-lar lavage fluid ( BALF) is often used in microbiological pathogen identification, cellular and non-cellular com-ponents analyses. And it can be also used as guideline of clinical medication, diagnosis, treatment and pathogene-sis research of the respiratory disorders. This article summarizes the advance of BAL in pediatrics ,such as BAL operating skills, specimen transport and handling, and clinical application in lower respiratory tract infection and interstitial lung disease.
9.Posterior scleritis being an underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed treatable eye disease
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2012;30(8):757-760
Posterior scleritis,an inflammatory disease of the posterior sclera,is most commonly seen in middle-aged women and often associated with systemic immunological diseases. It presents with a variety of nonspecific signs and symptoms, and its clinical feature may be confused with ocular tumors, orbital inflammation, and retinochoroidopathy. Therefore, some auxiliary examinations are necessary for the diagnosis of posterior scleritis. With early proper diagnosis and treatment, severe complications of posterior scleritis can be avoided or lessened. In the paper, some advancement in the study of etiology, incidence, signs, symptoms, auxiliary examination, differential diagnosis and treatment of posterior scleritis were reviewed.
10.Update on bordetella pertussis epidemiology
International Journal of Pediatrics 2014;(4):361-364
Pertussis or whooping cough is an acute infectious disease of the respiratory system, which is mainly caused by Bordetella pertussis and Bordetella parapertussis. It can occur at any age,but is most serious in young infants. Despite widespread use of vaccination, pertussis has not been eliminated. On the contrary, increased incidence rates have been reported worldwide during the last two decades, also called reemergence of pertussis. So it is necessary to evaluate current state on pertussis research,in order to better provide basis for mo-nitoring and control pertussis. This paper reviews the pertussis epidemiological changes and the related cause analysis and immunization strategy.
