1.Research advancement on triple negative breast cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(5):371-375
Triple negative breast cancer(TNBC) is defined by the lack of estrogen receptor (ER) , progesterone receptor (PR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 ( Her-2) expression. It is a subtype of tumor with distinct clinical and pathologic features and lacks effective targeted therapies. It is non - sensitive to endocrine therapy and targeted therapy drug herceptin, leaving chemotherapy as the mainstay of treatment The feature and the treatment of TNBC is the hotspot of resent research.
2.New perspectives of glycogen storage disease
International Journal of Pediatrics 2011;38(1):62-65
Glycogen storage diseases (GSD) are a group of inherited disorders characterized by enzyme defects that affect the glycogen metabolism. Hypoglycemia, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly and growth retardation are the main clinical manifestations. The enzymes affecting glycogen synthesis and degradation are varied.Consequently, the clinical manifestations are different because of different enzyme defection. Most patients treated regularly can obtain the normal growth and grow to adults, but still can be accompanied long-term complications by adulthood. Now some scientists find new modified cornstarch is superior to standard therapy in maintaining blood glucose levels. Gene therapy is still in the experimental animals.
3.Combined oral and intratympanic glucocorticoids treatment for severe to profound sudden sensorineural hearing loss
Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2015;(9):459-462
[ABSTRACT]OBJECTIVETo evaluate the efficacy of combined oral and intratympanic glucocorticoids treatment for severe to profound sudden sensorineural hearing loss(SSNHL).METHODSFifty-four patients with severe to profound SSNHL were retrospectively studied. They were treated with oral steroids, vasodilators, anticoagulants. The patients who accepted intratympanic methylprednisolone sodium succinate were included the therapy group, the others were included in the control group. Hearing improvements were analyzed respectively after two weeks.RESULTSHearing in both groups were improved significantly after treatment(P<0.01), but there was no difference in hearing improvements between two groups(P=0.194). The efficacy for severe SSNHL patients in therapy group was equal to those who were in control group (P=0.251), so was the efficacy for profound SSNHL patients in both groups(P=0.380).CONCLUSIONThe combined systemic and intratympanic glucocorticoids treatment was effective for patients with severe to profound SSNHL, but while with no better efficacy than oral glucocorticoid alone.
4.To promote the rational use of drugs in children
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2014;(11):1005-1007
The irrational drug use is one of the major public health issues. As children are in growth, their drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and pharmacodynamic characteristics are different from those in adults, thus more challenges on how to make rational use of drugs in children are seen. In this paper, by analyzing current situation of irrational drug use in children, the definition and standards of the rational drug use, and the measures adopted by WHO and China in promoting rational use of drugs in children, we emphasize here and call for a promotion of the awareness of rational use of drugs in children, and activities in forms of propaganda and health education, popularization of medical science and the medication safety knowledge, guidance for the development of good medication beliefs and habits in public, improvement of the social security administration, maximization of the protection of children's medication safety, and maintenance of children's health rights and interests.
5.Application of Psycho-Cardiology in Patients with Heart Failure Complicated with Depressive Disorder
Tianjin Medical Journal 2014;(6):575-577
Obiective To explore the application of psycho-cardiology in patients with chronic heart failture compli-cated with depressive disorder. Methods Hospitalized patients with chronic heart failture were assessed with PHQ-9 and PHQ-2 health questionnaire. A total of 80 patients with depressive disorder were selected and randomly divided into routine treatment group (n=40, received routine medication) and intervention group (n=40, application of psycho-cardiology based on routine medication). After three months, changes of scores before and after therapy were statistically analyzed in these two groups. Results Compared with routine treatment group, total scores of PHQ-9 significantly decreased in intervention group (P<0.01). LVEF, BNP and CRP improved in both groups after intervention (P<0.05), which were more prominent in intervention group compared with routine treatment group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Psycho-cardiology can treat chronic heart faiture and solve psychological problems of patients and provide comprehensive rehabilitation to patients.
6.Main factors of hypokelemia after PCI for acute myocardial infarction
Modern Clinical Nursing 2014;(1):43-45
Objective To explore the main factors of hypokalemia in the patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI.Method The clinical data of ninety-six patients with myocardial infarction after PCI were analyzed to look into the reasons for hypokalemia. Results Fifty-seven patients contracted hypokalemia, with a rate of 59.4%.The complication was cured by dietetic supplementation of potassium, oral supplementation of potassium, and potassium supplementation by atomization inhalation and intravenous infusion. The reasons for hypokelemia included inadequate input,over-ejectment,abnormal distribution of potassium and use of contrast agent. Conclusions Patients with myocardial infarction after PCI are more susceptible to hypokalemia. Therefore,it is a need to correct hypokelemia by means of potassium supplementation.
7.Naloxone hydrochloride preconditioning suppresses expressions of aquaporin protein-4 and matrix metalloproteinase-9 in rat brain tissue around cerebral hemorrhagic focus
Journal of Third Military Medical University 2003;0(21):-
Objective To investigate the protective effect and mechanism of naloxone preconditioning ( NP) for rats with cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Totally 30 healthy male Sprague Dawley ( SD) rats were randomly separated into Sham operatopm group, intracerebral hemorrhage ( ICH) and NP treatment groups ( n =10) . Before the establishment of rat cerebral hemorrhage model, rats in the NP group were given an intraperitoneal injection of naloxone hydrochloride ( 2. 0 mg/kg) ,and those of ICH group received an injection of normal saline at same volume. Then, the ICH model was made by injecting 0. 4 IU collagen Ⅶ into caudate nucleus while. The brain tissue samples around cerebral hemorrhagic focus after ICH were collected. RT-PCR and Western blotting were used to detect the transcriptional level and protein level of aquaporin protein 4 ( AQP4) in the brain tissue, respectively. Meanwhile, immunohistochemistry was employed to determine the expression of matrix metalloproteinase 9 ( MMP-9) in the rat brain tissue. Results Brain water content in ICH group was larger than that in Sham group ( P
8.Analysis on 30 special cases of showing the ECG changes of cardiac infarction
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(11):-
Objective To explore the causes of the special cases showing the EKG changes of cardiac infarction. Methods To analyse the causes of 30 special cases showing the EKG changes of cardiac infarction between 2000 and 2004. Results Among 30 special cases there were 11 cases of viral myocarditis( 36. 7 % ), 7 cases of acute pancreatitis(23.3% ) ,6 cases of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy(20% ) ,4 cases of bile-cyst and heart syn-drome(13. 3% ) and 2 cases of pulmonary embolism(6. 7% ). Conclusions There are many causes showing the EKG changes of cardiac infarction. It isn't the typical symptom of the cardiac infarction. It should be combined with the clinic and be distinguished timely and exactly in order to avoid the misdiagnosis.
9.The dynamic research of establishing fatty liver rats induced by high-fat diet
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(11):-
Aim To establish the fatty liver animal model induced by high-fat diet.Observe the dynamic variety of the hepatic steatosis in the different time.Finding out the ideal animal model-making time of hyperlipidemia and nonalcoholic fatty liver. Methods 50 wistar rats were fed with high-fat diet. The serum TG,TC,HDL,LDL,AST,and ALT were detected from 2 to 6 weeks. At the same time,we analyzed the hepatic steatosis situation. Results The rats developed hyperlipidemia and slight fatty liver after two weeks. In the following weeks, the serum lipid level and liver index kept rising. So did the amount of steatosis cells in liver tissue. The 3~4 weeks animal model had developed moderate fatty liver and the 5~6 weeks animal model had developed serious fatty liver.Liver fibrosis was detected in the 6 weeks animal model. Conclusions Feeding with high-fat diet, different phases of fatty liver had been developed in six weeks, and could been used for correlative pharmacological test.
