Objective:To investigate the feasibility of 3-D computer aided design(CAD)for the framework of a mandibular Kennedy Class Ⅱ,Modification 2 arch.Methods:In terms of the principle of clinical design,the 3-D framework was built with the technique of mixed model of points cloud,curves and surfaces on the reconstructed model of a partially edentulous cast,including the tissue surfaces and polishing surfaces of every component,such as clasp,rest,lingual bar and mesh construction,etc.Results:Preliminarily,a CAD method for 3-D RPD framework design was established and a individualized RPD framework 3D geometric model was set up.Conclusion:CAD for RPD framework design based on the mixed model of points cloud,curves and surfaces is feasible.

OBJECTIVETo explore the alterations of after depolarization and triggered activity in myocardiac muscle during progression of mouse aortic stenosis.

METHODSAfter the establishment of mouse aortic stenosis model, the heart was collected and intracellular potential was recorded using standard glass microelectrode. After the recording, the action potential (AP), early after depolarization (EAD), delayed after depolarization (DAD) in papillary muscles were analysed.

RESULTS(1) Compared with that of time-matched control mice, there were no changes of the action potoutial duration at 90% repolarization(APD90) in model mice at 2 and 5 weeks, whereas the APD90 was progressively prolonged at 9 and 13 weeks. (2) During the 30 minites of the experiment, spontaneous EADs and DADs were frequently present in medel mice at 9 and 13 weeks, were not in control and model mice at 2 and 5 weeks. (3) Compared with those of control group, EADs and DADs triggered by hypokalaemia or isoproterenol were increased significantly. The incidence rate of triggering EADs and DADs was progressively increased over time.

CONCLUSIONEAD, DAD and trigger activities increase gradually during the process of aortic stenosis, and it suggests that the myocardium electrical-instability is markedly increased in the insult hearts.

OBJECTIVETo find the characteristic parameters from electrocardiogram (ECG) which is most related to pathological progress, surface ECG was performed in mice at 2, 5, 9 and 13 week post surgery.

METHODSElectrocardiogram recordings: The mice were anaesthetized with tribromoethanol (250 mg/kg, i.p.). Lead II surface ECG were acquired by using the Biopac System MP150 at a rate of 5 kHz.

RESULTS(1) No arrhythmia was observed in Sham and 2-week Band mice. Spontaneous arrhythmias were observed in ECG recordings, with an incidence of 15%, 28% and 63% in 5-, 9- and 13-week Band mice, respectively. Tachyarrhythmias, such as frequent premature ventricular extrasystole, bigeminy, trigeminy, and paroxysmal tachycardia were found. (2) Analysis of ECG recordings revealed a significant prolongation of QT and QTc intervals. Compared with age-matched Sham mice, the increment in QT and QTc intervals was 20.4%, 32.7%, 49.7%, 61.0% and 27.1%, 32.1%, 43.9%, 59.1% at 2, 5, 9 and 13 week, respectively (P < 0.01). (3) The characteristic change in electrocardiogram was on the J wave. The amplitude of J wave was upward in Sham mice, and it was significantly flattened or inverted in Band mice. (4) Except that RR interval at 2 week showed a slight decrease, there was no significant change in PR interval and RR interval in Band mice.

CONCLUSIONIn the present study, we found that the increase incidence of spontaneous arrhythmias, prologation of QT interval and changes in the amplitude of the J wave in the surface ECG during progression of mouse cardiac hypertrophy and failure, and the progressive pattern indicated that a gradual aggravation of the ventricular repolarization delay in this mouse model.

Objective To investigate the relationship between cross‐sectional area (CSA) and average CT value of posterior vertebral extensor group and bone mineral density(BMD) in postmenopausal women .Methods Totally 114 postmenopausal women being eligible for inclusion were enrolled .All the subjects ,ages range from 55 to 87 years old ,underwent quantitative computed tomography(QCT) scans from December 2015 to December 2016 in Beijing Jishuitan Hospital .The original image was transmitted to the image postprocessing workstation ,using Mindways QCT Pro software ,vertebral bone mineral density of L2-L4 were meas‐ured .CSA and average CT value of bilateral posterior vertebral muscles were measured by 2 diagnostic physicians in the L4 verte‐bral body horizontal axis CT images ,and analyzed respectively .Results Average CT values of posterior vertebral muscles between the left and the right side had a significant difference (P<0 .01) .The average CT value of bilateral posterior vertebral muscles was positively correlated with lumbar bone mineral density measured by QCT(P<0 .01) .There was no significant correlation between the CSA of posterior vertebral extensor group and BMD .Conclusion The loss of posterior vertebral muscle mass may be an impor‐tant risk factor for osteoporosis .The average CT value of posterior vertebral extensor group is more promising than CSA in the e‐valuation of the degenerative muscles .

The records of 25 psychiatric patients ( clients ) who received case management from November 2009 to July 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.The factors related to the quality of professional relationship established between case managers and the clients were evaluated.The study revealed that timely supports, encourage and affirmation from case managers ( 40%) , the successful coordinate service (40%) , the active care for clients (24%) and helping to build up confidence and hope for clients (24%) were favourable factors for professional relationship establishment, while lack of desire to receive service and change from clients (24%) was adverse factor.

Objective To explore the clinical value ofmulti-slice spiral CT (MSCT) to carcinomatous intestinal obstruction of colon.Methods The clinical and MSCT data of 40 patients with carcinomatous intestinal obstruction of colon diagnosed by MSCT were analyzed.Results In the 40 cases,complete intestinal obstruction were in 17 cases,incomplete intestinal obstruction in 23 cases,39 cases were carcinomatous intestinal obstruction of colon confirmed by surgery and pathology,and 1 case was intussusception intestinal obstruction by multiple polyps.The MSCT qualitative analysis of obstruction reason was 97.5％ (39/40),the MSCT diagnostic accuracy of intestinal obstruction was 100.0％ (40/40).The obstruction site was at ascending colon showed in 14 cases,transverse colon in 4 cases,splenic flexure of colon in 2 cases,descending colon in 6 cases,sigmoid colon in 12 cases,both ascending colon and transverse colon in 1 case,colon and small intestine in 1 case.The obstruction site accuracy rate of MSCT was 100.0％ (40/40).Conclusion MSCT has obvious advantages in obstruction existing,obstruction site,obstruction reason to carcinomatous intestinal obstruction of colon,it can offer reliable examination data to clinic.

Double template molecularly imprinted polymer ( D_MIP) was prepared by emulsion polymerization method using the nonylphenol (NP), bisphenol A (BPA) as templates, α_methyl methacrylate(MAA) as functional monomer. Then using the D_MIP as solid phase extraction materials, a method based on double_molecularly imprinted solid phase extraction coupled with high performance liquid chromatographic fluorescence detection was developed for the determination of trace NP and BPA from environmental and food samples. The D_MIP was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy ( FT_IR ) and adsorption experiments. The results showed that the saturated adsorption capacity of the D_MIP for NP and BPA was 73. 3 and 97. 5 mg/g, respectively, and the relative selectivity coefficient was 2. 2 and 1. 7, respectively. Moreover, the conditions affecting extraction efficiency, such as washing conditions and desorption conditions were optimized. Under the optimal conditions, there was a good linear correlation in the concentration range of 0. 01-2. 3 mg/L with correlation coefficients (R2) greater than 0. 998 for NP and BPA. The detection limits ( S/N=3) were 0. 001 and 0. 002 mg/L. The proposed method was applied to determine NP and BPA in river water, beer and crucian carp samples. The recoveries of NP and BPA were in the range of 86. 4%-99. 1%with the relative standard deviation less than 6 . 2%. This method has good selectivity and high sensitivity and shows good prospects for the application in the enrichment and separation of NP and BPA in real samples.

Objective To study the relationship between fatty liver and blood lipids in children with simple obesity and the precaution of this disease.Methods Forty-eight cases from 2 to 16 years old with simple obesity were divided into 2 groups.The first group included 19 cases with fatty liver(38.78%);the second group included 29 cases without fatty liver(61.22%). Objective To investigate the effects of glycyrrhizin on gene expression of transforming growth factor(TGF)-?signaling pathway of hepatic stellate cell(HSC)in mice by gene microarray tech- nique.Methods The HSCs were isolated from mice and cultured in vitro.Then the mice were divided into control group,TGF-?_1 group(5 ng/ml) or TGF-?_1(5 ng/ml)combined with glycyrrhizin(100?mol/L) group.The cells were collected after 10 hours to extract RNA.A cDNA microarray(GEArray~(TM) Q) targeting TGF-?/BMP signal transduction was used to screen the genes which showed significant changes in expression of TGF-?pathway of HSC by glycyrrhizin.Results The microarray analysis showed that 16 genes(16.7%),such as Smad2,Smad3,Smad7,CoL3A1,CoL1A2,and PAI-1,were upregulated by TGF-?_1 and then down-regulated by glycyrrhizin.Five genes(5.2%)(including BMP7,IGFbp3 and etc.)downregulated by TGF-?_1,were then up-regulated by glycyrrhizin.Finally,2 genes upregulated by TGF-?_1 were then up-regulated predominantly by glycyrrhizin in HSC(T?R2,betaglycan).Changes in some genes,such as Smad2 Smad3,Smad7,were further confirmed to be coincided with cDNA microarray by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.Conclusions The anti-fibrosis mechanisms of glycyrrhizin may be through to interference of TGF-?signaling pathway,decrease the synthesis and increase the degradation of collagen.
