Objective To explore the factor structure of the anxiety imagery characteristics questionnaire.Methods Through the literature review and expert group discussion,the initial anxiety imagery features questionnaire was created.The first questionnaire contained 49 items of anxiety imagery,which was answered by 106 imagery dialogue psychotherapists.After analysis of the items and exploratory factors,the formal questionnaire that contained 20 items of anxiety imagery characteristics was formed.The formal questionnaire was measured by 115 imagery dialogue psychotherapists,then,exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were made.Results The exploratory factor analysis showed that four factors whose Eigen value were more than 1 were extracted from l0 items,including emotional panic,uneasy,tense muscles,and motor restlessness.Those four factors explained 54.39％ of the total variance.Confirmatory analysis showed that x2/df was 2.142 ; root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) was 0.059 ; and comparative fit index (CFI),goodness-of-fit index (GFI),non-normed fit index (NNFI) and RSMEA was 0.912,0.935,0.896,and 0.057,respectively.Conclusions The four-factor structure was constructed by 10 items of anxiety imagery characteristics questionnaire.

Objective To observe the influence of weight - lost therapy on obese children with impaired glucose tolerance( IGT), insulin resistance. Methods Fasting,post- prandail 2 hours blood glucose and insulin were measured in 14 obese children (age 8 - 15 years) with IGT before and after two - month weight - lost iherapy. Glucose were measured with enzymeoxidize assay, and insulin were measured with radio-immunity assay(RIA). Results Among 14 obese children with IGT, after two-month weight - lost the-rapy, there were 9 children becoming normal OGTT. There were significantly lower in the concentration of fasting insulin and post - prandail 2 hours blood insulin and glucose[(14.23?2.35) mIU/L,(47.20?10.26) mIU/L,(5.36?0.91) mmol/L] than before weight -lost therapy[ (32.54?7. 13) mIU/L,( 164.53?33.60) mIU/L, (8.75?1.09) mmol/L](P

AlM:To investigate the prevalence of pterygium of the household population aged 40 and above in Hengli Town of Dongguan.
METHODS: Using the method of cluster random sampling, select 3 628 people aged 40 and above in four villages and one community for visual examination, intraocular pressure check, slit lamp examination and questionnaire.
RESULTS: The actual number of subjects was 3 393 people, and examination rate was 93. 52%. We detected 843 patients with pterygium. The prevalence of pterygium was 24. 85%.
CONCLUSlON:There is high prevalence of pterygium in Dongguan area. The prevalence of pterygium is related with age and working environment, but has no relation with gender.

AIM: To investigate the effects of TNF receptor-associated death domains (TRADD) of latent membrane protein 1 (LMP1) on the proliferation of nasopharyngeal cancer SP18 cells.METHODS: The SP18-LMP1 cells and SP18-LMP1TRADD cells, which expressed LMP1 and LMP1 TRADD proteins, respectively, were established.The proliferation of SP18 cells affected by LMP1TRADD was detected by cell counting to analyze the cell growth curve, and by colony formation assay, soft agar formation assay, and flow cytometry.Moreover, the expression profile of differential genes between SP18-LMP1 cells and SP18-LMP1TRADD cells was analyzed by gene chips.RESULTS: The cell growth curve, and the results of colony formation and soft agar formation displayed that the growth velocity and colony forming ability of SP18-LMP1 cells were stronger than those of SP18-LMP1TRADD cells (P<0.01).The results of flow cytometry analysis showed that the proliferation index of SP18-LMP1 cells was higher than that of SP18-LMP1TRADD cells (P<0.01).Sixty-three differentially expressed genes associated with cell proliferation were screened out, in which 33 genes were up-regulated and 30 were down-regulated in the SP18-LMP1TRADD cells.CONCLUSION: TRADD active region is an important functional site of LMP1 to promote the proliferation of SP18 cells.LMP1 may improve the cell proliferation index and induce the proliferation of SP18 cells through TRADD.

Objective To investigate the effects of isoflurane preconditioning on renal ischemia reperfusion (I/R) injury in rats and the role of TNF-α plays in the mechanism.Methods Male SD rats were used in the study.The animals were randomly divided into 3 groups ( n =12 each):shame operation group; I/R group; Isoflurane preconditioning group (inhaled 1.5％ isoflurane (1 MAC) for 30 min followed by 10 min washout before I/R).At 2 h reperfusion,blood samples were obtained for urea nitrogen (BUN) concentration and creatinine (Cr) content.The level of TNF-α in renal tissues were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Observe the pathological changes in H.E.staining slides under microscope.Results BUN concentration and Cr content and the level of TNF-α in I/R group and isoflurane preconditioning group were significantly higher than in shame operation group[ BUN:( 17.69 ±0.99)mmol/L vs (8.37 ±1.12)mmol/L,t =-23.55,P ＜0.01; ( 12.26 ± 1.11 ) mmol/L vs (8.37 ±1.12 )mmol/L,t =- 19.09,P ＜ 0.01 ;Cr:( 103.22 ± 13.42)μmol/L vs (71.48 ± 8.59) μ mol/L,t =-21.45,P ＜0.01;(86.51 ± 11.49) μmol/L vs (71.48 ±8.59) μmol/L,t =-9.87,P ＜0.01 ;TNF-α:(0.51 ±0.07)ng/ml vs (0.43 ±0.00)ng/ml,t =-5.79,P ＜0.01;(0.47 ±0.03)ng/ml vs (0.43 ±0.00)ng/ml,t =-8.86,P ＜0.01 ].BUN concentration and Cr content and the level of TNF-α in Isoflurane preconditioning group were significantly lower than in I/R group [ BUN:( 12.26 ± 1.1 1 ) mmol/L vs ( 17.69 ± 0.99 ) mmol/L,t =15.67,P ＜ 0.01 ; Cr:( 86.51 ± 11.49) μmol/L vs ( 103.22 ± 13.42 ) μ mol/L,t =6.68,P ＜0.01 ;TNF-α:(0.47 ±0.03) ng/ml vs (0.51 ±0.07) ng/ml,t =2.61,P ＜0.05].Therenal I/R injury which located around kidney tubules was increased in I/R group and isoflurane precondi-tioning group compared to shame operation group [ ( 17.26 ± 1.45 ) vs (0.00 ± 0.00 ),t =- 72.38,P ＜0.01;(12.69±1.83) vs (0.00 ±0.00),t =-39.53,P ＜0.01].The renal I/R injury which located around kidney tubules was decreased in isoflurane preconditioning group compared to I/R group [ ( 12.69 ±1.83) vs (17.26±1.45),t =19.87,P ＜0.01].Conclusions Preconditioning with 1.5％ isoflurane 30 min can protect kidney from I/R injury in rats by regulating the level of TNF-α in renal tissues.

[Objective] To investigate the expression of NF-κB and IL-lra in gastric cancer, and to explore their correlation with the clinicopathological parameters and prognosis of gastric cancer (GC). [Methods] Expression of NF-κB and IL-1ra was detected by immunohistochemistry in tissue microarry of 359 cases of GC. [Results] The expression rates of NF-κB in the patients with metastasis of lymph node, TNM Ⅲ-Ⅳ stage, and poorly differentiated of histology were 80.2%, 80.0%, and 79.2%, respectively. The expression rates of IL-1ra in the patients with tumor size ≤3 cm, early stage, non-metastasis of lymph node, and TNM Ⅰ-Ⅱ stage were 61.7%, 75.0%, 66.4%, and 61.9%, respectively. The 5-year survival rate of the cases with non-expressed NF-κB was statistically higher than that of the cases with expressed NF-κB(P=0.036). The 5-year survival rate of the patients with negative expression of NF-κB and positive expression of IL-1ra was statistically higher than the others (P=0.021). [Conclusions] NF-κB is the adverse predictors of prognosis of gastric cancer. IL-1ra maybe play a protective role in early gastric cancer stage, but it is necessary to study deeply and get more evidences.

Background Posterior chamber phakic intraocular lens implantation is a safe and effective method for correction of high myopia.Petacam-assisted observation of the intraocular lens position in the eye after surgery,provides a good way for the evaluation of operation safety.Objective This study was to evaluate the security and effectiveness of posterior chamber (phakic) implantable contact lens (ICL) implantation for high myopia.Methods Twenty-five eyes of eighteen high myopia patients who received ICL implantation were retrospectively analyzed from March 2009 to September 2012.The mean preoperative spherical equivalent (SE) of the patients was (-17.52 ± 1.73) D and the cylinder was (-0.75 ± 0.28) D.The clinical effective indexes included preoperative and postoperative uncorrect visual acuity (UCVA) and best correct visual acuity (BCVA),SE,intraocular pressure (IOP),corneal endothelial cell number and percentage of corneal endothelial hexagon cells.In addition,Pentacam analysis system was used to compare the anterior chamber depth,anterior chamber angle and space between crystal lens and ICL between before and 6 months after operation.Written informed consent was obtained from each patient before any medical procedure.Results ICL was successfully implanted in all the 25 eyes.UCVA was 1.47 ±0.26 and 0.26±0.15 respectively before and after operation,showing a significant difference between them (t =21.71,P =0.00).SE,corneal endothelial cell number and percentage of corneal endothelial hexagon cells were significantly lower than those before operation (SE:t =-48.60,P =0.00 ; corneal endothelial cell number:t =13.07,P =0.00 ;percentage of corneal endothelial hexagon cells:t =10.79,P＜0.05).Anterior chamber angle was (25.02± 4.77)° 6 months after operation and was smaller than (38.43±4.04)° before operation (t=15.32,P=0.00).No significant differences were found in IOP and anterior chamber depth between before and after operation (IOP:t =-1.57,P =0.13 ; anterior chamber depth:t =1.46,P =0.16).The spaces between crystal lens and IOL was (363.33± 44.37) μm 6 months after operation,with a significant decline in comparison with (542.17±39.46) μm 1 week after operation (t =20.86,P =0.00).Glare sense appeared in 2 eyes after operation.Conclusions The results indicated that ICL implantation can retain the natural accommodation of lens.ICL implantation appears to be an effective and safe approach to high myopic eyes.However,the changes of corneal endothelial cells after operation should be payed more attention.
