International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2011;33(11):972-975
ObjectiveTo comprehensively evaluate the curative effect ofTCM reating type 2 diabetes with three type dialectical therapy by Fuzzy Mathematics.Methods261 cases of 2 type diabetes were divided into three groups by syndrome differentiation,as follows:type of heat with yin deficiency, type of deficiency of both qi and yin,and type of deficiency of both yin and yang, and received corresponding therapies. The course of treatment was 24 weeks,in the first 12 weeks (period 1),on the basis of western medicine treatment, patients of the three groups were respectively treated by qingrungranules, ziyigranule and shuangtiaogranules. In the next 12 weeks (period 2),all patients were only treated by western medicine. The value of FBG,P2BG,HbAlc,TC,TG,BMI of the two periods were comprehensively evaluated by the methods of fuzzy mathematics.ResultsAt the end of period 1,the total effective rate of the type of heat with yin deficiency was 91.38%,the type of deficiency of both qi and yin was 87.16%,and the type of deficiency of both yin and yang was 83.34%; while at the end of period 2,the total effective rate of the three types was 59.18%,48.65%a nd32.65% respectively.ConclusionThe effective rate was obviously improved in period 1; while in period 2,the effective rate was decreased.

Objective To improve the recognition of sarcoidosis in elderly patients. Methods Clinical data of 13 elderly patients with sarcoidosis were retrospectively analyzed. Results There were three cases without symptom and five cases with intra-pulmonary and extra-pulmonary manifestations respectively.Eight cases had atypical radiological appearances and five cases showed inflammatory changes through bronchofibercopy. There were three cases with increased percentage of lymphocytes and high ratio of CD4/CD8 in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) respectively.Seven cases were diagnosed through biopsy. And the symptoms of all thirteen patients diminished after treatmeit. Conclusions The clinical symptom and radiologieal manifestation of sarcoidosis in elderly patients are varied and usually atypical. The diagnosis should be based on comprehensive analysis including clinical manifestation and examination. The elderly patients with indication of treatment can be given corticosteroid therapy with close clinical monitoring.
5.Phylogenetic Tree and Function Analysis of Inflorescence Meristem Identity Gene TFL1
China Biotechnology 2006;0(01):-
TFL1 homologs play important roles in maintaining vegetative growth and inflorescence meristem identity. The plants without the function of this gene usually are flowering earlier. Their normal inflorescence development is inhibited, the inflorescence meristem eventually acquired floral identity, which producing a terminal flower. Up to now, the TFL1 homologs have been isolated from 28 species of plants, including Arabidopsis, Snapdrogen and Tomato. The phylogenic tree of TFL1 proteins is almost accordance with the relative of those plants. The inflorescence identity gene TFL1 interacted with floral meristem identity genes LFY and AP1, so as to retard the transformation from inflorescence identity into floral identity. These meristem identity genes such as TFL1 and LFY can be applied in breeding of earl-flowering cultivars, there also have plenty of potentials in breeding fruit-free plantanus, popular or willows.

Journal of Geriatric Cardiology 2007;4(3):182-185
Slow coronary flow phenomenon(SCFP) is an angiographic observation characterized by delayed distal vessel opacification in the absence of significant epicardial coronary disease. Only limited studies have been focused on the etiologies, clinical manifestations and treatment of this unique angiographic phenomenon. In our case report, we described an 85-year-old man who came with significant ST segment elevation in leads V1-V4 and V3R-V5R without increase in myocardial enzyme. The patient also developed respiratory failure requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation. Coronary angiography revealed only mild atherosclerosis without spasm or thromboembolic occlusion. Slow flow was seen in all coronary arteries, especially in the left anterior descending and right coronary arteries. This case speculated that transmural myocardial ischemia with ST segment elevation might be resulted from slow coronary flow. Transmural myocardial ischemia can occur owing to abnormalities of the coronary microcirculation.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(10):1508-1513
BACKGROUND:Studies have shown that 26RFa plays an important regulatory role in bone formation, pain, endocrine, cardiovascular disease and energy metabolism. OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of 26RFa on the proliferation and differentiation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells. METHODS:In order to obtain the most efficient concentration of 26RFa, human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells were detected by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide analysis. cells were inoculated into 6-wel plates and then divided into two groups:experimental group treated with 10-11 mol/L 26RFa and control group with no 26RFa. After 8, 12 and 16 days of osteogenic induction, alkaline phosphatase activities in induced cells were detected using alkaline phosphatase kit. After 21 and 28 days of osteogenic induction, alizarin red staining and Von Kossa staining were performed. The number of calcified nodules over each coverslip was calculated, and the expression of cbfa1 protein was detected by western blot assay. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After 8, 12, and 16 days of osteogenic induction, the alkaline phosphatase activities were higher in the experimental group than the control group (P<0.05, P<0.01, P<0.05). After 21 and 28 days of osteogenic induction, alizarin red staining and Von Kossa staining showed that the number of calcified nodules was higher in the experimental group than the control group, and the expression of cbfa1 protein was also higher in the experimental group (P<0.05). These findings indicate that 26RFa can promote the osteogenic differentiation of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells under appropriate culture conditions.

Objective To observe the expression of SGK in decidua in patients with unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion(URSA) and to investigate its role in the course of apoptosis. Methods The expression of SGK was detected by immunohistochemistry in decidua of URSA(abortion group,n =50) and normal first trimester pregnant women(control group,n =30).The apoptotic index was detected by TUNEL.Results Compared with the control group, the positive expression of SGK decreased significantly in the abortion group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2 =6.78,P < 0.05).The average apoptotic index of the abortion group was (8.19 ± 3.58) %,which was significantly higher than (2.87 ±1.07)% of the control group(t =7.94,P<0.05).Conclusion Intensive apoptosis, the decreasing positive expression rate of SGK in decidua cells may play critical roles in URSA.

Objective To prepare Shichangpu Double Layer Tablets. Methods The release of the sustained-release layer (SRL) was used as the response parameters and uniform design with alterable levels was used to optimize the recipe of SRL of Shichangpu Double Layper Tablets. Fast-release layer (FRL) was made from water extraction by ultra-filtration. Results The dissolution kinetics of SRL could follow zero-order equation and FRL showed good prosperities for fast release in 10 min. Conclusion The in vitro release of SRL of Shichangpu Double Layer Tablets testifies the significant sustained release action and FRL disintigrates rapidly. The preparation technology of Shichangpu Double Layer Tablet is reliable and simple.
