Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(07):-
The process of protein synthesis is terminated by one of the three stop codons which are recognized by classⅠ polypeptide release factors.Subsequently, it could promote the hydrolysis of the ester bond of peptidy-tRNA, resulting in release of the nascent polypeptide.Recent results from cryoelectron microscopy, crystallography, NMR, molecular dynamic and biochemical experiments have shed considerable light on the function and structure of the classⅠ release factors. The progress in these aspects were summarized.

The practical teaching system for information management and information system science in higher medical institutions was constructed with job skill training as its target by intruding the concept of competence-based education model into it in order to improve the practical performance of undergraduates majoring in informa-tion management and information system science. The system was designed by taking into consideration the teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching practice, and implemented in the undergraduates of Chengdu Medical College, and the implementation experiences were summarized.

Objective To observe the level of serum transforming growth factor ?(TGF ?) in patients with colorectal cancer and study its clinical significance. Methods Serum TGF ? was measured with radioimmunoassay in 54 patients with colorectal cancer and 25 healthy subjects, compared with 42 patients with colorectal cancer before and after the operation. Results The levels of serum TGF ? were significantly higher in patients with colorectal cancer than those in healthy controls(P

Objective To systematically assess the efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture for trigeminal neuralgia. Method Randomized controlled trials of a electroacupuncture treatment for trigeminal neuralgia were sought by a computer search of CNKI,Wan Fang Data,VIP,CBM,PubMed,EMbas and The Cochrane Library. The retrieval time limit was from March 1996 to March 2016. Two reviewers sifted the literature and extracted data independently according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria andthen assessed the riskofbias of the included literatureusing the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool.Ameta-analysis was made using RevMan 5.3.Result Finally, 12 articles were included with atotal of 847 subjects. The results ofmeta-analysis showed that the total efficacy rate was higher in the electroacupuncture group than in the control group [OR=4.04,95%CI(2.67, 6.13),P<0.00001].There were no statistically significant differences in the VAS score [MD=﹣0.06,95%CI(﹣0.59, 0.47),P=0.82] and the recurrence rate [OR=0.64,95%CI(0.05,7.45),P=0.54] between the electroacupuncture and control groups. Conclusion The currentlimited evidenceshows that the total efficacy rate fortrigeminal neuralgiais higher in the electroacupuncture group than in the control group. There are no statistically significant differences in the VAS score and the recurrence rate of trigeminal neuralgia between the electroacupuncture and control groups of patients. But the conclusions need more high-qualitytrials for validation owing to the limitation of the sample size of the included studies.

Objective To systematically evaluate the effectiveness and safety of resuscitation-inducing acupuncture for post-stroke dysphasia. Methods The randomized controlled trials ( RCTs) of resuscitation-inducing acupuncture for post-stroke dysphasia were searched in the domestic and overseas databases such as CBM, CNKI, Weipu VIP, Wanfang Data, PubMed, Web of Science, EMbase and the Cochrane Library ( from the founded date to December of 2014) . Literature screening, information extracting and literature quality assessment were done by 2 reviewers independently. RevMan5.3.0 software was used for Meta analysis. Results A total of 8 RCTs were included into the analysis, involving in 766 cases. The results of Meta analysis showed:( 1) for patients in the recovery stage of stroke, 4-week resuscitation-inducing acupuncture combined with routine treatment including internal medicine plus swallowing function training or not had better efficiency than the control group without resuscitation-inducing acupuncture (P<0.001) ; (2) for patients in the acute stage, the difference of efficiency between the combination group and the control group was insignificant (P=0.05); (3) The efficiency of resuscitation-inducing acupuncture combined with routine treatment for the complication of pulmonary infection stayed uncertain. Conclusion Resuscitation-inducing acupuncture combined with routine treatment is recommended to the patients with dysphasia in the recovery stage of recovery. But the cure time window, treatment course and effectiveness evaluation still need to be confirmed by more large-scale, high-quality randomized controlled trials.

OBJECTIVE To promote the management of nosocomial infections continuous improvement in the clinical and medical technology department.METHODS According to the regulation of nosocomial infections management,a handbook of nosocomial infections management for clinical and medical technology department was designed, and the monitors of nosocomial infection could perform real time inspection and record according require of the handbook. The department of nosocomial infections management examined the monitoring work of clinical and medical technology department every month and summarized every year, and the results were internalized to the valuation of medical quality management.RESULTS After 3 years of the usage of the handbook, the capability of the monitor groups of nosocomial infection and the quality of the all monitoring items were significantly improved;the qualified rates were all above 96.30%.CONCLUSIONS The handbook of nosocomial infections management is useful to improve the quality of nosocomial infections management in the clinical and medical technology department.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of histogram analysis of susceptible signal intensity in differentiating papillary (pRCC) from chromophobe renal cell carcinoma(ChRCC). Methods Thirteen cases with pRCC and 9 cases with ChRCC, who underwent susceptible-weighted imaging(SWI), MR common scanning and enhancement, were assessed retrospectively. The histogram parameters of susceptible signal intensity were measured, including maximum, minimum, mean, median, skewness and kurtosis. The independent samples t test(normal distribution) and Mann-Whitney rank sum test(skewed distribution) were used to compare the differences in SWI parameters between pRCCs and ChRCCs. Receiver operating characteristic curve was used to evaluate the efficiency of the whole-tumor SWI parameters in differentiating pRCCs from ChRCCs. Results The significant differences of the minimum, mean, median and skewness between pRCCs and ChRCCs were present(P<0.05), and there was no significant differences in maximum and kurtosis between between pRCCs and ChRCCs(P>0.05). In all the histogram parameters, the area of ROC curve of mean value was largest(0.80). The sensitivity of minimum value (84.62%) was the highest and and the specificity of skewness(100.00%) was the highest. Conclusion Histogram analysis of susceptible signal intensity can help differentiate pRCCs from ChRCCs.

Objective To compare the main hygiene indicators before and after clean operating rooms are used, evaluate the influencing factors, and find out the improvement measures. Methods In 2015,some cleaning operating rooms in Chengdu were detected, according to different service years and maintenance status, operating rooms were divided into newly-built group, replacement group, and non-replacement group, change in qualified rate of three groups of clean operating room indicators were analyzed. Results A total of 111 cleaning operating rooms were detected, including 56 newly-built operating rooms, and 55 operating rooms (24 in replacement group,31 in non-replacement group) which have been used for more than 1 years. The qualified rate of air cleanliness in newlybuilt group, replacement group, and non-replacement group were 98.21%,100.00%,and 74.19% respectively, difference among three groups was significantly(P<0.001),the qualified rate of air cleanliness in newly-built group and replacement group were both higher than non-replacement group, while newly-built group and replacement group was not significantly different (P =1.000);difference in bacterial concentration, static pressure difference, and ventilation frequency of air in operating rooms of three groups were all not statistically significant(all P>0.05).Conclusion After clean operating room have been used for one year, air cleanliness declined, there was no significant change in static pressure difference and air exchange frequency, which indicates that when concentration of airborne bacteria is qualified, risk of infection due to unqualified air cleanliness still needs to be paid attention, the replacement of high efficiency particulate air filter in clean operating rooms can significantly improve the cleanliness of operating rooms.
