OBJECTIVE:
Invastigation of macrolides in the treatment of drug effects in chronic rhinosinusit.
METHOD:
The 165 patients with chronic rhinosinusit were randomly divided into 80 cases of macrolides drug group and 85 cases of cephalosporins group, and therapeutic effect was observed. The therapeutic effect of macrolides was also observed in refractory chronic rhinosinusit.
RESULT:
Comparing macrolides group and cephalosporins group, there is not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Treatment with macrolides cefixime tablet ineffective treatment of patients for 3 months, compared before and after treatment was statistically significant (P < 0.01). Treatment with cefixime tablet macrolides ineffective treatment of patients for 3 months, compared before and after treatment was not statistically significant (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSION
Long-term low-dose applications of macrolides have a good effect in patients with chronic rhinosinusit, particularly for refractory chronic rhinosinusit have a significant effect.

3.Quality assurance of stereotactic radiotherapy in head and neck cancer
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2004;0(07):-
Objective To introduce the methods for quality assurance of stereotactic radiotherapy in head and neck cancers. Methods Firstly, thirty cases were randomly selected.Secondly, patients were set up with Topsland fixtures, and their heads & necks were fixed with plastic masks,on which windows were open and the signs of reposition were marked.Thirdly, the treatment plan was designed by GE-helical CT-scan and Topsland plan system. Finally, after certification eligibility, the treatment plan was performed to record the parameters of anterior-posterior and analysis errors of setting up.Results: The testing results revealed that the position error was no more than 2mm.Conclusion: QA is a very important measure to guarantee the precision of stereoscopic directional radiotherapy.Only when the QA measure has been strictly carried out,the precise and satisfactory effect can be obtained.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2008;12(50):9973-9977
BACKGROUND: The proliferative capacity of in vitro cultured chondrocytes is gradually reduced following several passages. Many studies have demonstrated that basic fibrublast growth factor (bFGF) can promote chondrocyte proliferation, and influence its phenotype and differentiation. OBJECTIVE: To observe the influence of bFGF on the proliferation and differentiation of growth plate chondrocytes and to screen the best dosage for in vitro culture of chondrocytes. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: For observation and comparison of cells, the experiment was performed at Tissue Engineering Laboratory, Department of Biochemistry, Jinan University Medical School between October 2004 and February 2005. MATERIALS: Twelve New Zealand rabbits were selected for chondrocyte isolation; bFGF was purchased from PeproTech, UK. METHODS: Rabbit growth plate chondrocytes were isolated and cultured in low serum. Different doses of bFGF (0, 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 μg/L) were added. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Cell proliferative multiple was determined using modified MTT method; chondrocyte collagen content was determined using hydroxyproline method; alkaline phosphatase activities were detected by enzyme kinetics. RESULTS: bFGF (5-100 μg/L) could promote chondrocyte proliferation, especially at dose of 25 μg/L. bFGF at dose of larger than 25 μg/L would inhibit collagen production; bFGF at dose of larger than 1 μg/L would inhibit alkaline phosphatase activities. CONCLUSION: bFGF can stimulate growth plate chondrocyte proliferation, and inhibit growth plate chondrocyte differentiation at dose25 μg/L.
6.Analysis of Irrational Drug Use in 217 Cases of Adverse Reaction Reports on Chinese Patent Medicines in Our Hospital
China Pharmacist 2017;20(8):1442-1444
Objective: To investigate the effect of irrational use of traditional Chinese patent medicines (CPM) on medication safety. Methods: The adverse drug reaction (ADR) reports on traditional CPM (including traditional Chinese medicine for injection) in our hospital during January 2013 to October 2016 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. After finding the corresponding prescriptions, the situation of irrational drug use in the reports including indications, usage and dosage, combination of traditional CPM, combination of Chinese and western medicines and course were analyzed, and the rate of irrational drug use was calculated. Results: A total of 217 reports were collected including 217 patients. The primary diseases ranked top three were cardio-cerebral vascular system diseases, digestive system diseases and respiratory system diseases. The cases involved 81 kinds of drugs, and among them, 37 cases were induced by Shenmai injection. The rate of irrational drug use associated with indications, usage and dosage, combination of traditional Chinese patent medicines, combination of Chinese and western medicines and course was 6.45% , 5.99% , 2.76% , 0.92% and 1.84% , respectively, and the total rate was 17.97% (39/217).Conclusion: The irrational drug use maybe one of the important factors related to ADR of CPM.According to syndrome differentiation, CPM should be used rationally, and pharmaceutical care should be strengthened to reduce the incidence of ADR.

Basic & Clinical Medicine 2017;37(6):763-767
Objective To explore the relationship between different airway pressure and expression of related cytokines to airway remodeling. Methods Fourty-two chronic obstructive pulmonary disease cases (COPD group) and thirty-three control cases were collected. The above cases underwent mechanical ventilation in the period of general anesthesia.According to different levels of peak inspiratory pressure(PIP), above two groups, randomly and respectively, were divided into high PIP (HPIP, 24 cmH2O) group, moderate PIP (MPIP, 22 cmH2O) group, low PIP (LPIP, 20 cmH2O) group. All positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP) was set to 5 cmH2O.Then the collection of BALF was performed before and 3 hours after applying ventilator. The related factors to airway remodeling, such as fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF-2), transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and Western blot. Results 1)Beforemechanical ventilation, the levels of FGF-2, TGF-β1 and MMP-9 in COPD group were higher than control group (P<0.01).2)3 hours after mechanical ventilation, we saw significant upregulated expression of FGF-2, TGF-β1, MMP-9 in HPIP subgroup in control group (P<0.05) and the 3 factors levels of COPD group were all increased (P<0.05).Moreover, HPIP subgroup was significantly higher than MPIP and LPIP subgroup in COPD group (P<0.05).3)The expression of FGF-2, TGF-β1, MMP-9 in BALF had a positive correlation with the airway pressure levels in COPD group(P<0.01).Conclusions Under mechanical ventilation, sustained high airway pressure may enhance the expression of FGF-2, TGF-β1 and MMP-9 which may result in airway remodeling by mechanosensitive cation channel in bronchial epithelial cells, especially in COPD patients.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 1995;0(04):-
Objective:To observe the expression of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-kB) during the replacement of primary and permanent teeth in dog. Methods:By immunohistochemistry, expression of NF-kB was examined in the tissues around deciduous tooth root at resorption stage in 2 dogs aged 3-4 months.Results:NF-kB positive signals were observed in the osteoclasts up to the permanent tooth germ and in odontoclasts in the medial wall of the pulp cavity of deciduous teeth.Conlusion:NF-kB may involve in the eruption of permanent teeth during the stage of the replacement of primary and permanent teeth.
