Objective:To explore the expression of LOX-1(lectin like oxidizeol low density lipoprotein receptor-1,LOX-1) in aorta of atherosclerotic rabbits and modulating the effect of fluvastatin and Shexiang baoxin pill on the gene and protein expression of LOX-1. Methods:Tirty-two New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into four groups: hypercholesterol diet group (fed mth high cholesterol diet),hypercholesterol diet plus Fhevastatin group(fed with high cholesterol diet plus Fhe vastain 25mgl kgld).hypercholesterol diet plus shexiang Bao xin Pill group (fed with high cholesterol diet plus shegxiang Baoxinpill 25mgl kgld).normal diet gwup(fed mith regnlar chow),the protein expression of LOX-1 in aorta of rabbits were examined by immunohistochemsthy,the gene expresswin of LOX-1 in aorte of rabbits were examined by R7-PCK. Results:hypercholesterol diet group(fed with high cholesterol diet),hypercholesterol diet plus fluvastatin group(fed with high cholesterol diet plus Fluvastatin 25mg/kg?d), hypercholesterol diet plus Shexiang baoxin pill group(fed with high cholesterol diet plus Shexiang Baoxin Pill 25mg/kg?d),normal diet group(fed with regular chow),the protein expression of LOX-1 in aorta of rabbits were examined by immunohistochemistry,the gene expression of LOX-1 in aorta of rabbits were examined by RT-PCR. Objective:To search for a simple and rapid method of preparating the IL-2 conjugated immunoliposomes with high conjugate rate.Methods:The IL-2 conjugated immunoliposomes were prepared by Glutaraldhyde,Undecanal or Derivatization.All methods were analyzed and compared.The conjugate rate of IL-2 was determined by Bradford Assay.Centrifugal acceleration experiment served to prove the liposome stability.Results:IL-2 conjugated liposome by shiff’s base through Undecanal didn’t cause IL-2-self or liposme-self inter-cross link,and conjugate rate was high and stability was good.Conclution:Undecanal is suggested to prepare the IL-2 conjugated immunoliposomes for the anaphase cell experiment.

Objective To explore the effect of self-made water pillow on absolute bed rest patients.Methods Eight-eight patients were randomly allocated into observation group(n=46)and control group(n=42).The patients in the control group received daily care with conventional cotton pillows which were placed at the compression part, while those in the observation group were treated with newly designed water pillows.Both groups received constant turn-over to avoid pressure sores.The two groups were compared in terms of times of daily turn-over,degree of comfort and rate of skin pressuring red.Results The time of daily turn-over in the observation group was less than that of the control group and the degree of comfort was higher and the rate of skin pressuring red smaller all with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of the self-made water pillow can effectively prevent pressure sore,enhance comfort degree of absolute bed rest patients and reduce the workload of nursery.It is simple, economical,convenient and safe.

Objective: To study the effect of Resen heche tablets (RSHC) on tonyfing and warming Shen Yang. Methods: The mice model of Shen Yang deficiency was established by injecting hydrocortisone. The body weight, autonomic activity and swimming time in ice water in model mice were observed. The level of superoxide dismutase (SOD) in red cell and lipid peroxide (LPO) in plasma of aged rats were analyzed. The effect on anti stress in mice was examined. Results: RSHC had the remarkable effect to improve body weight and autonomic activity and to prolong swimming time in ice water in model mice, and to increase SOD activity and reduce LPO in blood of aged rats, and to elevate the ability of anti fatigue and anoxic tolerance in mice. Conclusion: RSHC drug has the effect on tonifying and warming Shen Yang; can promote growth, enhance organism activity, elevate the adaptation to circumstances and protect injury from free radicals.

With more than 20 years of development, Pichia pastoris system has been extensively used both on a lab and industrial scale. This review outlines the progress made on P. pastoris from aspects of protein expression, molecular engineering tools and methods, and biochemical production. This review also provides perspectives on the current challenges and future directions of this important system.

Genome editing is defined as highly-effective and precise modification of cellular genome in a large scale. In recent years, such genome-editing methods have been rapidly developed in the field of industrial strain improvement. The quickly-updating methods thoroughly change the old mode of inefficient genetic modification, which is "one modification, one selection marker, and one target site". Highly-effective modification mode in genome editing have been developed including simultaneous modification of multiplex genes, highly-effective insertion, replacement, and deletion of target genes in the genome scale, cut-paste of a large DNA fragment. These new tools for microbial genome editing will certainly be applied widely, and increase the efficiency of industrial strain improvement, and promote the revolution of traditional fermentation industry and rapid development of novel industrial biotechnology like production of biofuel and biomaterial. The technological principle of these genome-editing methods and their applications were summarized in this review, which can benefit engineering and construction of industrial microorganism.

OBJECTIVEThis study aims to compare the fracture resistance of teeth restored with different post and core systems by cyclic loading test and to predict long-term effects.

METHODSA total of 15 recently extracted mandibular premolars without crowns were endodontically treated. The teeth were randomly divided into three groups with five teeth in each group. Group A, teeth restored with cast metal post and core. Group B, teeth with fiber post and resin core. Group C, teeth with resin filling. All of the teeth were restored with full-cast metal crowns. The specimens were exposed to 300,000 cyclic loadings in a cyclic loading machine and 1,000 thermal cycles between 5 and 55 °C. All of the samples were loaded in AG-IS mechanical testing machine with a compressive load until fracture occurred. The fracture load and the fracture mode of each tooth were recorded.

RESULTSThe fracture resistance in group B and C were higher than that of the cast metal post and core restoration (P < 0.05). Repairable fractures were observed in group B and C, whereas unrestorable and catastrophic fractures were found in group A.

CONCLUSIONFiber post and resin filling is a good choice to restore endodontically treated teeth.

Objective To observe the effect of atmospheric pollution on workers'α1-antitrypsin concentrationb in petrochemical enterprises.Methods During health examination,the workers were indivded into 3 groups according tO the length of job experience.Ⅰ group(<10 years)included 291 cases,aged 22-35 years old,Ⅱ group(10-20 years)included 634 cases,aged 33-45 years old,and Ⅲgroup(>20 years)included 427 cases,aged 44-55 years old.The normal control were individed int different group according to the status of petrochemical workers.,all the serum samples were detected on automatic biochemical analyzer,α1-antitrypsin levels were analyzed between the different groups.Results In group Ⅰ,the α1-AT concentration was 2.58±0.38 g/L(P>0.05)without significant difference compared with control.In group Ⅱ and Ⅲ,the concentration α1-AT were 2.02±0.43 g/L and 1.72±0.41 g/L respectively with significant differences compared with control.And the significant difference existed among the three groups of petrochemical workers..But the sigficant difference did not exist between different group of control people.Conclusion During the process of oil refining,the plants exhausted the polluted gas of nitrogen dioxide,olefins,alkanes,alcohols,carbonyl and other harmful substances,it influenced theα-AT levels of body.It is a good suggestion to decreas the petrochemical pollution,and to monitor the serum concentration of α-AT content among petrochemical workers,it might to reduce the incidence of lung disease of great significance.

With the development of surgical techniques, the use of nipple-areola complex (NAC)-sparing mastectomy (NSM) has been increasing. Except for oncologic safety, the aesthetic outcome of surgery is greatly concerned by clinicians and patients. So far, there has been no consensus on the incision of NSM. This article reviewed the literature so as to provide some evidence for the selection of NSM incision.

Autonomic nerve dysfunction is common after onset of ischemic stroke.Heart rate variability (HRV) has been used widely because of the regulation effect of heart rate by the quantitative analysis of the autonomic nervous system.This article reviews the evaluation method of HRV and its clinical significance in ischemic stroke.
