Objective To determine the effect of pnehyclidine hydrochloride as anticholinergic drug during the treatment of severe acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(SAOPP)and evaluate the safety.Methods 78 SAOPP patients was divided into control group(n=37)and test group(n=41).Atropine was as anticholinergic drug in control group and was replaced by pnehyclidine hydrochloride in test group.The persistence time of mus- carinic action,drug adverse reaction,severe complication,healing rate and therapeutic time of detoxification after these drugs being administered were observed in the two groups.Results The persistence time of muscarinic action was shorter in rest group than in control group(P

Methods Gel mobility shift assay was used to detect the DNA binding activity of NF-KB in ischemic ARF rats and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay was used to study the expression of renal inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) . Objective To systematically assess the efficacy and safety of electroacupuncture for trigeminal neuralgia. Method Randomized controlled trials of a electroacupuncture treatment for trigeminal neuralgia were sought by a computer search of CNKI,Wan Fang Data,VIP,CBM,PubMed,EMbas and The Cochrane Library.The retrieval time limit was from March 1996 to March 2016. Two reviewers sifted the literature and extracted data independently according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria andthen assessed the riskofbias of the included literatureusing the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool.Ameta-analysis was made using RevMan 5.3.Result Finally, 12 articles were included with atotal of 847 subjects.The results ofmeta-analysis showed that the total efficacy rate was higher in the electroacupuncture group than in the control group [OR=4.04,95%CI(2.67, 6.13),P<0.00001].There were no statistically significant differences in the VAS score [MD=﹣0.06,95%CI(﹣0.59, 0.47),P=0.82] and the recurrence rate [OR=0.64,95%CI(0.05,7.45),P=0.54] between the electroacupuncture and control groups.Conclusion The currentlimited evidenceshows that the total efficacy rate fortrigeminal neuralgiais higher in the electroacupuncture group than in the control group.There are no statistically significant differences in the VAS score and the recurrence rate of trigeminal neuralgia between the electroacupuncture and control groups of patients.But the conclusions need more high-qualitytrials for validation owing to the limitation of the sample size of the included studies.

By retrieving the clinical research literature of treatment functional dyspepsia by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from January 2004 to December 2014 based on China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI), we would establish a TCM decoction database for treating functional dyspepsia in this study. One hundred and sixty-four literature were included, involving 159 prescriptions, 377 medicines, in a total of 1 990 herbs. These herbs can be divided into 18 categories according to the effectiveness; and qi-regulating herbs, blood circulation herbs, and antipyretic herbs ranked top three ones according to the frequency of usage of the herbs, whose medicine usage frequency accounted for 51.81%. Usage frequency of 16 herbs was over 30, and Atractylodes, Radix, Poriaranked top three according to the usage frequency. Medicinal properties were divided into 9 kinds according to the frequency statistics, and the top three were warm, flat, and cold. Taste frequency statistics were classifiedinto 9 kinds, and the top three were acrid, sweet, and bitter. In frequency statistics of the meridian tropism of herbs, it was classifiedinto 11 kinds, and the top three were spleen, stomach, lung. The analysis can provide a reference for treatment and study of TCM of functional dyspepsia.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the protective effects of punicosides on alcohol induced acute liver injury in mice and its possible mechanisms as well.

METHODThe 60 mice were randomly divided into normal control, model group, three dose groups of punicosides with low, medium and high, then there is silibinin group. Three dose groups of punicosides and silibinin were given in advance by gavage for 4 weeks, then the mouse model of alcoholic acute liver injury was established. The serum levels of ALT, AST and TG were determined, and the mice were killed to calculate somatic index of liver, thymus as well as spleen. MDA, SOD, GSH-Px and GSH-ST were detected in the liver homogenate. Histopathological changes of the liver were observed by HE staining. The expression of MCP-1 and NF-kappaB in the liver tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry.

RESULTMid and high dose of punicosides reduced the liver index in mice significantly, improved liver steatosis, decreased the level of ALT, AST and TG in serum and the content of MDA in liver homogenate, furthermore the two dose groups increased the activity of SOD, GSH-Px and GSH-ST, inhibited the expression of MCP-1 and NF-kappaB in liver tissue.

CONCLUSIONPunicosides can protect the acute liver damage induced by alcohol.

Objective To assess the clinical usefulness and value of the 5 models for the prediction of acute kidney injury (AKI),severe AKI which renal replacement treatment was needed (RRT-AKI) and death after cardiac surgery procedures in Chinese patients.Methods One thousand and sixty-seven patients who underwent cardiac surgery procedures in the department of cardiac surgery in the Zhongshan Hospital,Fudan University between May 2010 and January 2011 were involved in this research.The predicting value for AKI (AKICS),RRT-AKI (Cleveland,SRI and Mehta score) and death (EURO score) after cardiac surgery procedures was evaluated by Hosmer-Lemeshow goodness-of-fit test for the calibration and area under receiver operation characteristic curve (AUROC)for the discrimination.Results The incidence of AKI was 20.34％(217/1067),and 63.13％ of their renal function recovered completely.The incidence of RRT-AKI was 3.56％(38/1067) and the mortality of AKI and RRT-AKI was 9.68％ (21/217) and 44.73％ (17/38) respectively.The total mortality was 3.28％ (35/1067).The discrimination and calibration for the prediction ofAKI of AKICS were low.For the prediction ofRRT-AKI,the discrimination and calibration of Cleveland score were high enough,but the predicated value was lower than the real value (1.70％ vs 3.86％).The discrimination of Mehta score and the calibration of SRI were low.The discrimination and calibration for the prediction of death of EURO score was low.Conclusion According to the 2012 KDIGO AKI definition,none of the 5 models above is good at predicting AKI after cardiac surgery procedures.Cleveland score has been validated to have a proper impact on predicting RRT-AKI after cardiac surgery procedures,but the predicting value is still in doubt.EURO score has been validated to have an inaccurate predicting value for death after cardiac surgery procedures.

Objective By using quantum dots-based double-color imaging method to simultaneously label human epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2) on breast cancer cell membrane and the type Ⅳ collagen in the extracellular matrix.To monitor the degree of malignancy of breast cancer and the invasive and metastatic potential.Methods The co-expressions of HER2 and the type Ⅳ collagen in breast cancer of 54 cases were detected and quantified by quantum dots-based double-labeling immunofluorescent histochemistry,and its correlation with clinical pathology parameters and prognosis were analyzed.Results With the increasing HER2 expression level,a progressive decrease in collagen Ⅳ around the cancer nest,the expression of HER2 and the type Ⅳ collagen value was negatively correlated (r =-0.980,P ＜ 0.05) ; the expression of HER2 and collagen Ⅳ was associated with lymph note metastasis,pathological stage (TNM) and disease-free survival(P ＜ 0.05).The expression of HER2 and the type Ⅳ collagen between different age groups,menopause and estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) were not significantly different (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Quantum dots-based double-color imaging method provides direct observable evidence to support the degradation of HER2 and the type Ⅳ collagen expression,which may help in determining the degree of malignancy and evaluating prognosis.

Objective To explore the value of echo-tracking technique in the detecting the ipsilateral external iliac artery elasticity after gunshot wound in pig limbs.Methods Two-dimensional ultrasound imagings and elasticity parameters of external iliac artery of fifteen pig limbs were obtained respectively,and the results were compared with pre-injury groups.The animals were sacrificed after ultrasonography.Pathological examinations of adjacent external iliac artery of injured pig limbs were analyzed.Results Two-dimensional ultrasound imagings of external iliac arteries had no significant changes post-injury.The changes of elasticity parameters were significiant differences in the injured group comparing with the pre-injured group (P ＜0.05),including the increased stiffness parameter(β),pressure-strain elasticity modulus (Ep)and the decreased arterial compliance(AC).Pathological result showed that the internal elastic lamina of artery detected were flat,endothelial cells came off discontinuously and structure of them were undefined.Conclusions Echo-tracking technique can find the elastic changes of adjacent artery indirect injured by gunshot wound sensitively and which can suggest the occurrence of vascular indirect injury.
